Familiar concept
I’ve played a game like this before that I absolutely loved but became so fed up with the in-app purchases that I reluctantly deleted it. This game totally fills that void. Even though I’m not finding much originality here and the design could be much sleeker, the app works well. One feature I definitely want in the future is the ability to listen to Apple Music while playing the game, like I do with my other games.

This is an amazing game I like how it really makes you think and it excersises the mind and it takes brain power energy for sure I really don’t think it’s that difficult it’s just sometimes you are lost for words get it solved and thanks and Happy Halloween everybody it’s my favorite holiday weekend it’s fun and it’s also Nevada Day like the 24th of July here in Utah don’t know if you knew that but I just wanted all of you to know. Love the game, but please update to allow background audio (music, podcasts) to continue playing while in the app.

Turns off music, flat buggy
As the other reviews point out, you can’t listen to music while playing the game, even if you turn off the in-game music. Best of all, switching from the game to something else and back breaks the game’s sound anyway. Then there’s the controls. You swipe letters, except the hit boxes are huge, making misinputs constant, which then breaks your “streak.” Oh, and yeah, this is yet another Apple Arcade game that’s just an existing game with the microtransactions removed and no other changes.

Won’t let you listen to music
Not sure why devs release games for iPhone that block people from listening to their own music or podcasts while playing games. Especially ones like this where the audio doesn’t really matter. The game is fine but I only played a few minutes. It’s the type of game I’d like to be able to play while killing time. Unfortunately, I won’t be doing that if I can’t listen to my music while I do so.
I will revisit my score if the fix this. Until then, I would recommend avoiding it.

Sound will work, with workaround
My device: 15pro max. (Shouldn’t matter, but who knows)
Device settings: silent mode
Game settings: mute music, mute sound, mute voice overs.
No Bluetooth speaker on hand to test, but device audio works for audio books, music.
Lost a star for having to figure this out.

Music can't be listened to
I hate the audio and music attached to this game. Give me the ability to listen to my own tunes otherwise there are other AND better games similar to this one out there!

one issue w game
i’ve really been looking forward to this game, i was super excited to listen to my music and play but even when i turn off all music, sound, voice over, it still pauses my music which is super frustrating and annoying.
