Getting way too hard again
Have you guys actually tried playing this without boosters or with a limited ambit of credits? It’s pretty impossible. I’m practically down to almost no credits and I can’t buy my way out of a level. For one, please stop with the times and vines please. Or give folks the option to turn them off. Many folks just want to play a leisurely game. O I also hate the wrong swipe being recorded. This game on the harder levels of pretty much luck the draw. If you don’t get a good first load you might as well restart until you do. Or give many more tries for each level. I’m glad you made it simpler two updates back, but it’s definitely getting much harder and unplayable again. I also would like the difficulty level to stay consistent regardless of the level. Please make this more fun again.

Another match 3 game
Yet another match 3.
Made worse with fussy swipe control and insipid saccharine feel good quotes to “solve”. Which aren’t even the actual quotes in the puzzle, but poorly done paraphrasing.
It is not a “word game” in any real sense.
The advantage to solving quickly vs making more matches (points allocation) is not readily apparent. There is no way to speed up the points accumulation video screen after solving.
I admit I did not get far before this all annoyed me too much. A few levels and finished the “events”.
This offered nothing new or engaging in the match 3 vein. As a word game was a dismal failure without even the solve the puzzle appeal of a Wheel ripoff.
The bg art is cute. Not shocking news that you don’t need more than that to make $ with an app or be popular enough to get an apple arcade version. But. Today it is disproportionately irritating. 🤷 just my mood I guess.

so close to great...
an update fixed my complaint from my original review so I've updated my rating to 5*. i am really enjoying this game. **original review** what a well designed game. you can tell an artist cared about the overall presentation. it's a match 3 game, these aren't new but it's still fun and worth playing UNLESS you hate unskippable animations at the end of a level because let me tell you, the devs of this game clearly LOVE unskippable animations at the end of levels. its not so bad when you finish with 20 moves left but when you finish with 83 seconds left, ugh. easy five star for me without that annoyance. i know it makes me impatient and i don't care. it should be skippable.

Loved it until not playable
Fortunately version 1.03 fixed some the issue that made the game unplayable, and it’s fun again! I really enjoy the daily quests.
I really enjoyed this game, and love the added goal of solving the phrase. The only gripe I had with the game is that boosters don’t work against the ice blocks. That takes away from some of the strategy and makes the game harder (and not in a good way.) Still a great game until version 1.02 where the game isn’t playable anymore due to a bug where touch doesn’t work in some areas. I can’t go to daily puzzles, or start a new level without the game requiring a force close. Is anyone able to play the game now?

Fun…when it works
Really enjoy the game but periodically, it just stops working. I’ve tried every thing I can think of, I just cant get it to start back up. My wife is having an identical issue on her iphone. She hasn’t been able to play for over 48 hours now. It’s been over 24 hours for me.
Updating my review. Whatever the bug was seems to have been resolved quite a while ago. I’m on level 298 and enjoying it. I play two or three levels a day and that seems to be enough to satisfy my itch. Every once in a while I get to a level that might take a day or two to get past but the satisfaction once you do is worth it.

Fun but needs tweaking
It’s fun but frustrating in that the touch accuracy is not great. You swipe on a piece sometimes and it ends up moving in an unintended way or an adjacent piece moves instead. Sometimes this is harmless but more often than I’d like it matches and ruins the move I was going to make which would have made a big difference in the outcome. I play a lot of these match type games and have never had issues like this with others.
Also, I wish when swapping spaces with a power up, if the non-power up piece completes a match that would generate another power up, it would appear. Instead you get nothing.

Perfect difficulty, one of my absolute favorite apple arcade finds
My initial review was that it was too difficult, but after some updates addressing that, i’ve really put it through its paces and I think it’s in a great place right now. The last few event levels are tough but you can totally save up currency and power ups from daily logins and the main game to help carry you through. This is now my favorite way to relax with my phone, I think getting a thoughtful quote is such a wonderful reward for some really fun gameplay. Major kudos to the developers, I can’t put it down!

UPDATED: Still Nearly impossible at higher levels
The developers responded to the negative feedback by making changes to rebalance the game. However, the higher levels with tangled branches now have configurations that make them unable to be cleared. My suggestion is to either slow the growth of the tangles, or ditch them altogether because it adds no value to your game on Apple Arcade because it is does not work well with your pay-to-play ‘frustration triggers’
This was my favorite game until I got to the higher levels. It’s beyond frustrating to have levels that can only be passed using the boosters. Obviously this game was built to require micro transactions and not sure having it included in Apple Arcade was well thought out.

The first 60 levels are fun.
After the first 60 levels, the game takes a sharp turn. I don’t know much about programming, but the levels don’t make sense. Frequently, there are no moves or only a bunch of moves at the very top that appear after multiple resets. These force you to blow through your moves and lose the level.
Level 67 was the last straw. Basically, you are waiting for just the right move in order to move the acorn. You can’t orchestrate it; the game has to provide the right pieces. You could seriously play this level forever and not get the right combinations. That’s not fun. That’s not a challenge. That’s not just a really hard level. That’s just dumb luck that is probably never going to happen.

Too hard to get past some of the levels.
This game would be much more enjoyable if it wasn’t impossible to get past the 65 level. I have run out of coins to buy boosts, and then the game even acknowledges its own weaknesses and problems when it resets all of the tiles several times because the player has no options. I have spent a week trying to move forward and i am getting to the point of deleting it off my iPad because it is NOT FUN NEVER BEING ABLE TO GET MORE THAN 4 ACORNS with the number of moves i am allotted when i need 6 in order to make a guess at the phrase. Why not allow me an attempt to guess the phrase even though you won’t let me guess until i drop all impossible acorns???
