Level 83 is gonna make me kill!
I love this game. I beat all 400 levels with 3 stars and all destruction flags, EXCEPT FOR LEVEL 83!! I think there’s a bug or glitch or something in the second half of the level. The little cart is supposed to roll away from the catapult, but instead it rolls towards it, making it impossible to hit it and the structure with one shot. I’ve been playing this same level for hours, and it’s just not possible. I’ve seen videos of others beating it, and it shows the cart rolling away from the catapult, which would make things all better. So, I’m guessing it’s a glitch, and if that one single thing could be fixed I could finally rest easy. But for now, I’m driving myself insane trying to beat an unbeatable level. If the designers somehow read this, PLEASE fix this issue! Pleeeeease! Absolutely incredible game and I am totally obsessed, but this one single unbeatable level is gonna be the death of me. Thank you. Here I go again….

Excellent, challenging, rewarding
Reviewers saying it’s too hard and buggy and weapons are useless are expecting an Angry Birds kind of game that’s easy, mindless fun. These levels are creative and fun, but also really hard sometimes. They are not buggy or impossible. You can restart a level very quickly, which encourages trying again and again and you often do have to try many times. They can all be done but some levels take very precise shots, which is hard with a catapult. I’ve had luck switching which ammo I start with on some levels, so keep that in mind if you’re stuck.
I have literally laughed out loud at some of the levels. I’ve felt very clever once I three-starred some levels and I keep coming back to this game to see how creative the next level will be. Even if you have to keep restarting, the “enemy” is really funny and it’s hilarious what you do to them when you complete a level.
Ignore all reviews less than 5 stars. This is a great game.

Some people just like to complain
Do not understand the hate this is the most creative and challenging and absolutely addictive. If your playing on phone (like me) it can be difficult. I may be wrong but I see clues in the Castle or what ever it is you knock down. It may a rope attached to a boulder or one of the mystery boxes on ground that will give an extra turn or the proper thing that makes it easier to knock it down just little things like that. Zoom in on the castle to see little things that could help. It’s not super easy but why would you want that. You can start every level over so what’s not to like. It’s hard to say what other people will like but I see no downside to this game not being easy. If you want to go through every level in one go this is not for you. But if you want a game that little differences change each level and and not dump a lot of money right away you will enjoy this.

Favorite game in a long time
I just finished all current levels with no need for power ups. This was as close to a perfect playing experience as I’ve seen in quite a long time. Mostly strategy puzzler with just a tiny bit of luck thrown in for good measure. The levels are all 100% winnable without paying for upgrades / power ups which is more than I can say for others out there. And the last point I’ll make is that I could never get into angry birds... this just seems like a matured version of the concept, arguably done better. Thanks to the devs and the designers for the hard work. Looking forward to new levels in the future.

Very good game
I finished all the levels and feel sad that there aren’t any left. While the game mechanics are very cool, accuracy in slinging the projectile can be pretty difficult, in some levels where accuracy counts sometimes I repeatedly make the same exact sling angle 5 times in a row, so it’s pretty hard to tell the progress of the projectile. Also I’m disappointed in how a gift purchase to get additional projectiles in a certain level is not permanent for that level especially since I like to play for all stars and if I mess up on any part of that one level I have to restart and lose my extra projectile. Otherwise it’s a very creative game where you decide how you want to bring the structure down, perhaps by the intended way, maby a more strategic way, or even an random lucky precision shot way. It’s up to you and the further into the game you go the more tools of destruction you get in order to make your creativeness spark 10 fold.

Need a map fix
In level 53 “Shine” the level has been tweaked by one of the updates that were done to the game. Within the level you are suppose to know three stones into 4 pillars and knock the shrine over into the enemies. But with throwing the 2 stone after breaking the first pillar. There is an angle or tight shot that is almost hitting the corner of the shrine. But even without hitting past the corner there is a bug where the game will constantly be hitting the pillars behind!!! This causes the stones to become weaker after it already hit something. Then it causes the shrine to fall backwards and make the level an UNBEATABLE 3 star level!! Please fix it.
EDIT: When hitting that tight corner of the top left of the shrine, there is a hit box problem where you are hitting the pillar but the game believes you are hitting the large tile holding up the shrine above the pillars. Again making this level unbeatable.

Why is angry birds worse? Their just as amazing!
This game has a tiny bit of bad reviews, but most of the good reviews I’ve seen say that angry birds is a crappy game compared to this. Now not saying I don’t like it, I’m giving it a 5 star review, I feel that angry birds and this game are similar in so many ways that they are just as good as each other. The only difference I’ve seen is that there’s a piggy bank that you have to pay to open. And even that references the golden piggy in the spinoff called Angry Birds EPIC. To be honest I’m pretty content with the fact that this is an Angry Birds rip-off. Keep making what games you want.

Not nearly as complex as the original
I bought this game years ago and it was awesome. I was thrilled when I found new levels were added. I breezed through all the levels, except the last one, in a matter of days. The first incarnation had multi screen levels. I especially liked the ones where you had to set a wagon in motion to crush another area. I liked the different destruction methods that are few and far between in this version. Yes I enjoyed it but it is very simplistic compared to the original. It’s been a long time between the two, so I’m not hoping too much; as this one wasn’t nearly as challenging as the first.

WANT MORE LEVELS!!!
This is one of the few games I have found that does NOT push you into purchasing upgrades just to complete the levels! It requires a bit of trial and error and a LOT of patience but the game CAN be accomplished without spending $$! HUGE Thank You to the developers who have created a playable, enjoyable, somewhat addictive game that eats up my hours and not my Cash! Unlike so many other games that the algorithms are obviously designed to not allow success without pay, this game delivers!

Brilliant!
Crush the Castle is one of my favorite games and I love this updated version. The graphics are great and the gameplay is familiar. It’s challenging, but not too frustrating and that’s what I loved about the original game. Very rewarding and attainable to go for 3 stars. The ads are not a problem either. There are no banner ads getting in the way of the action. The videos are sparse between plays, and you can opt to watch them for a bonus. I wish more developers would follow this formula. My only “complaint” is that I want more levels!
