Blessth3fall,
Phenomenal App!
Got my first cub arriving December of this year and my buddy recommended this app. I can’t thank him enough because I absolutely love this app. It has everything I need to help me through going about this my first time around. It’s funny, entertaining, extremely helpful, comprehensive, and takes care of not only yourself but also your wife.

The checklist and articles are a lifesaver and I think the journal idea is freakin fantastic! It definitely brought about an idea that I probably wouldn’t have done without the app. I can’t wait to order the journal and gave it to my wife as a gift!

Everything about this app and the developers is amazing. Please don’t change this app because of the ridiculous out there. I’m sure I speak for many DADS out there when I say we absolutely need this!
positive dad,
Good job on relating to some men
If anyone is offended by this app then they needed a daddy to tell his son to not get his panties in a bunch about an APP TO HELP MEN UNDERSTAND AND BE THERE FOR THEIR WIVES. As an educator the best way to teach an individual is relate content. This app may be very beneficial for men who relate more to the outdoors than pink fem hats. With that being said, good job. No it probably isn’t for everyone but that’s ok. Because we live in a country where men can search and choose what resources they’d like to utilize to be good fathers. Good job thinking outside the box. Keep up the good work and disregard people who are offended by you doing all you can to help some men understand important aspects of pregnancy and the process. My little man cub arrives in August. Blessed to read new information daily to help me be a better father.

Cheers,
An American soon-to-be daddy!
RogueBD22,
Great app and funny!
We were happy to bring my child into the world recently and throughout my wife had a pregnancy tracking app that was geared more towards women. That’s definitely beneficial for her but wasn’t as relevant to me. This app told me much of the same info along with what *I* should be doing and feeling as the dad without being super serious. The jokes and theming was funny and made for a good start to my Monday’s when the “Welcome to Week ____” reminder came up.

Thanks for this app. Though I’ll be deleting it for now, I’ll for sure use it again if we go for another kid!
ckveld2014,
Does have a few good tools so I guess it’s not entirely useless
The tone of this app is condescending and the daily tips are really not for people who are full partners. Today’s tip was “Ask _____ how her day was. Don’t just act interested. Be interested!”
…of course I care about my wife and want to know how her day was. A pregnancy app telling me to ask about that contributes nothing. I thought this app would give me insight about the development of my child with a fun theme. If that’s your goal, keep looking. What little information about development there is uses language that doesn’t actually help. My wife’s doctor doesn’t refer to “the mountain” phase or know what it is.
The only reason I did not rate it 1 star is because it does have a helpful checklist. Not more comprehensive than other to-do lists, but I’m sure someone would find the list useful.
proud feminist,
Stupid and sexist
This app is dumb. It is the definition of toxic masculinity. And to be clear I am a heterosexual cisgendered male and this app offends me. I love to do everything out doorsy as well as get a mani pedi when I want. My wife and I are equals and fatherhood is no a mountain the needs to be conquered it is a life change that must be embraced and assessed like all of life’s choices. This app is trying to teach men that have to be this solid object that just cannot be attained.

The reason I didn’t give it 1 star is that it does have SOME accurate information about development and mom’s needs.

Do better! If This app wants men to “Daddy up” it should really talk about what being a dad really means. Like tips on talking to your kids and talking to mom about what she wants and needs. Dad needs to know what mom wants for her birth plan and to support all of her decisions unless they put her or baby in danger.
ItsAleexx,
You are going to do great.
I love this app, everything it says is perfect . there’s always a reminder to drop what you’re doing and show love to your partner. for example one tip said : Text (partner’s name) and tell her a reason you love her.

pffffff simple right ? exactly. when i read this, it immediately brought me back to what really mattered . HER. although i express myself to her daily . We will get caught up in everything that we have to prepare and do.

thank you for this app. it truly helps having something i can have for me specifically.

App issues
Great app overall. Very informative and great for new dads to be. My 3 star rating is due to the system issue regarding the Logg it in feature. Due to work I was unable to log any new information / update for a week. Once I tried logging something in, I noticed that all the pictures I previously uploaded where unable to be seen. I was really looking forward to buying the actual album after my journey but I don’t think I will since I won’t know weather the failed pictures will be printed on the album or not. If issue can be fixed I’d definitely purchase the album. I’d appreciate a resolution. Thank you.
hthoma07,
Highly Recommend!
This app is great! It gives tons of great tips and information on what to expect each week from the Mrs. One thing I love the most is that it tells me little things I should do or try not to do during this week of the pregnancy. My wife even enjoys some of the things I’ve told her about this app. Another great feature is it has an area you can journal and take pictures of your journey. Then at the end you can turn it into a hardcover book. I haven’t made it this far yet but I’m excited to try.
fonzarell,
Awkward Body Negativity
This app talks about mother-to-be’s size WAY too much and is really cringe in the way it constantly assumes weight/appearance is the biggest issue. All the tips are some ape-ish tongue in cheek garbage about “don’t make beeping noises when she’a backing up” etc etc (I think that one was on there at least twice. Get rid of the boomer humor and outdated body image jokes and it’s actually a decent app with nice functionality. As a caring husband and soon-to-be father, I would appreciate some actual tips on infant/child care or helpful two-person exercises for mom to prepare for labor. Not this *hyuck* pregnant woman get big *hyuck* trash. Boring, try again.
Water for Alligators,
Not what I was expecting
Do you have the emotional maturity of a 14 year old, and live in a log cabin? Do you get confused as to why your wife gets mad when you flirt with the waitress at Applebee's? Did you sleep through every high school biology class? Do you view pregnancy and childbearing not as a life path that you and your wife take equal roles in, but rather a large obstacle that must be conquered? If so, this is the app for you. However, if you find it insulting that the only advice given to you for a certain week is to tell your wife you love her and actually mean it, then I would check out the Big Daddy app instead.
