I have always struggled with being active. I could list a number of excuses. My body has been through 4 c-sections, life gets busy, and I lost the attention I needed to give myself. I gained a considerable amount of weight; to be honest I’ve always been on the heavier side. My sisters are the tall thin ones and I’m the short stocky one. I have always had to work twice as hard to be a healthy woman; not skinny, just healthy! I love my curves, I love how God designed me; I don’t love that I can’t climb two flights of stairs without needing a break. I am 44 and have three children, 16, 6, and 5. I found dance fitness with Jessica on a TikTok post. This woman posted herself dancing/working out to Jessica every day, she allowed me to follow her weight loss/exercise journey. I purchased the app and started. I fell in love with it! I love the prayer before the workout starts, I love that Jessica stays positive, and shares the stage with different body types. Going to a gym is intimidating for me, it’s very rare for a gym to offer childcare these days, and it costs a lot of money. This app is perfect for me and my schedule, my kids have joined in, and it’s overall a great time in my house! The music gets everyone going every morning! Kids are happy and mom is happy! Definitely won’t regret this purchase!
