Description

Minimalistic. Customizable. Accessible.

Dark Red was built upon these three key aspects that make sure the content you love is always the main focus of each experience.

No wasted space:
No matter which layout you pick, content will always be front and centre. All actions such as voting or sharing are accessible through tap-and-hold or swipe gestures so we can fill up the screen with what matters most.

Easy on the eyes:
Built around a dark theme, give your eyes a rest with easy to read font and dark interface elements can help reduce eye strain. No more bright white backgrounds that blind you.

Made for you:
Customize the bits that matter to you, with fonts, colors, and layouts all interchangeable.

Join the community:
Sign in to as many accounts as you want and switch between them in an instant. Requires a one time in-app purchase to unlock.

Love the app? Want to see new features, layouts, or fonts? All feedback is welcome so reach out! I'm a one-man team but I'll do my best to get back to you.

hdkskansjwnbxbdjfnsm,
Far better than the official app
My one complaint, which may be user error, is that there doesn't seem to be an option for editing or deleting a comment.
Jayarie412,
Have to pay to log in to your reddit account
Seems like it would be a good app but I'm trying to log into a single account and I'm being asked to pay. In my opinion logging into one account should be a given, charge if people want to add several. I don't have much use for reddit without signing i so I'm uninstalling. Wish this was advertised as a paid app.
Paolo Antonio,
Great App!
I love this app, it allows me to customize it where I only see my subs, and not get distracted by News, or Popular tabs. Plus, no ads, and the video player actually works. Excellent work to Nick on this!
Ronbol,
Near perfect
Really enjoying this app, but the one feature it lacks is the ability to arrange subscribed subreddits in the order I choose. Alphabetic ordering is a little irritating.
Enfield6275,
Promising, but not yet.
I was pleased enough to purchase the full version in order to log in. I then discovered that the Home button did not show my subscribed subreddits, only the Popular feed. I have not found any other way to view the front page.
Burlaka47,
Great app man
Really happy so far but have a wish list of features.

-Save post and comment buttons
-Default to home feed not “all”
-Option to move thumbnails to the right
-Notification support
mr. hecc yoy,
Paying to unlock all features basically
Yeah by locking off the ability to sign in behind a paywall the core use of Reddit as a place to connect with others about a specific topic is impossible. It’s ultimately just the base Reddit app but worse because of that, which is sort of impressive in its own way.
DelanderSmithee,
Outstanding
A great alternative to Apollo.
