The best paint filter!
I love this app you can create your own masterpiece! I have used for a long time. No other program compares ...easy to use ..fun to see what your pics will look like and you control how much of a paint effect you want.

Some excellent results but user interface needs improvement
This app, compared to other AI apps I’ve used, gives some impressive results along with short wait times to see those results. The app offers plenty of filters, but I mainly use just a handful for most of my images. In my opinion the premium version is certainly well worth investing in, for the added flexibility and higher image quality. The App’s main drawback is the user interface which is slow and cumbersome, to put it kindly. For example, there is no way to re-arrange the filters, which appear in a long line along the bottom of your screen forcing you to have to scroll through all of them to find the one you want to use. Frequently used filters should be re-arranged to the head of the line to speed things up. Also, the “My artworks” screen is nearly worthless and very time-consuming to edit and gives next to no useful information (e.g., what filter was used for the artwork image???)
Also, while the premium version allows you to keep the colors from the original photo, to change back to the filter colors you have to dig deep into the setup screen each time, wasting more time. The user should be able to make ad hoc choice of colors decision for each image. To sum up, some excellent very striking results, but suffers from frustratingly awkward and slow user experience to get there.

Buyer beware
I purchased this app after reading the good review in the New York Times. The effects are attractive, but this product is incompatible with IOS13 or has some other defects because I was unable to purchase any of the print products, including the high-res print file that the app offers. Julia of Service and Support at Deep Art Effects was initially responsive when I wrote asking what I was doing wrong, but after our second exchange four days ago, she has gone silent. Because this product did not work for me, and I have wasted money and a significant amount of time on it, I can only urge future buyers to beware.

Don’t pay for premium version -SCAM
I paid for the premium version of this app and when you go to save a printable file, they ask you to pay MORE MONEY. If I try to share my image the app CRASHES. You can’t do any adjustments to your image, only add their filter. It’s very slow to load images as well. This app is a complete fail in my opinion. My advice is to use BeCasso instead. You can adjust the images after filter is applied and save your work to your tablet.

Cannot Create Your Own Styles
I would give this app zero stars if I could. Deep Art Effects advertises that you can create your own art styles in the mobile app. This feature DOES NOT EXIST. I loaded the app to both my iPad and iPhone and paid for the premium service. I was ripped off. The advertisement on the Mac Store displays the mobile interface, but that’s not what you get. You get a completely different and clunky interface. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DECEPTIVE COMPANY AND THEIR USELESS APP!!! Buyer beware, I suppose.

Limited. More Like a Toy
For what it does, it’s all right. It’s too limited to be considered an art tool.
Its limitations are the greatest drawback. You can’t use your own filters. You can’t manipulate the image.
It’s like Dreamscope but much more inflexible. Anyone wanting to do some actual art will find this app frustrating and, perhaps, a bit boring.
