Horrible Website and app
Unfriendly to the users and wont even let me on the website read more without PAYING! How ridiculous is that! im giving the worst review it can get because it deserves all this hate. I hope this horrible app and website crashes! So stupid… The maker of this app and website, i hope you wont receive any money and i hope it crashes and you get many bad reviews! i hope that you get all this hate from the people you “tried” to help but you HAD TO PAY FOR A STUPID WEBSITE!! i hope this happens to you because you reap what you sow so i hope someone does this to you and that you will learn your lesson from what you did to other people encluding me and my family. i hope that happens to your family and especially you of course!! Hard to use
I originally downloaded this app because I have and love the tasty app. However I’ve seen mostly all of the videos I wanted from over there so after seeing videos of Delish recipes on FB I decided to download the app for more ideas. Instantly I found a new video which was nice and detailed. However, the app is really hard to use. I was tired of the recipes of the day so I went to the sub categories and none of the links worked. I typed in the search engine a recipe I saw on FB and the search engine did not work. I tried multiple words and basic categories and nothing pops up.
The recipes are great and the videos are good quality I just wish that the app was more established and user friendly. Hopefully the developers fix these problems because I do love the idea of this app.

While the idea is good-i mean who doesn’t want an app similar to the Tasty app that consolidates all the great Delish videos we see on Facebook-the app is not good...
3 problems.
1. The ads. Every recipe is proceeded by an ad. While the ad is only 5-15 secs, it cuts into the beginning of the video. That’s a problem if the whole video is only 60secs long. You’ve just missed a quarter of the video.
2. Sub-categories. They don’t work. Want a pasta dish? Click on the pasta link-nothing. Click it again-nothing. Doesn’t happen for all the links-but it does for most.
3. Search field. Useless. Does nothing. Why is it even there?? Ridiculous. I searched for a recipe that I saw on FB to add it to my favorites, and couldn’t find it-so I had to go back on FB to find it. What’s the point of this app if I can’t find the recipe that I’m looking for??
Developers-do yourselves a favor-look at the Tasty app. Redesign this app to be like that.

Awful
Just signed up based on seeing recipes on Facebook. However, this is NOT a user friendly site. Cannot find what I see on FB? Should allow me to connect from that recipe right to it in my app. App allows you to see the recipes of the day for a category??? No category for Chicken or Beef, or Pizza etc??? Search does NOT search the whole database??
You need a new developer to start this site from scratch as it is not worth even a $1 a month and could be worth a whole lot more if you had it set up to actually work with your huge repertoire of recipes.

Great website and social media pages but crappy app
11/25 Update from first review: app works a little better now but you can’t even search for recipes and only shows 5 or 6 per category. I’ll stick to the website
I have had this app on my phone for awhile. I went to use it today and it says to make sure my phone is connected to the internet and try again... well my phone is always connected when at home and it would never load no matter how many times I hit try again. Ended up deleting the app. Why keep it if it doesn’t work.

Good website, terrible app
I remain faithful to the Delish recipes. They are great for something quick and delicious for those work nights or days that you just really don’t feel like doing too much but you also don’t want to order out. The problem I have is that the app itself is clunky and not very user friendly. You can find a lot more on the Delish website and this app does it no justice. I would go ahead and skip the app and continue getting everything from Facebook or directly from the Delish website.

Nonfunctional and Hard to Use
I was reading other reviews from 3 years ago and they stated the same issues I have come across. Search doesn’t work, Recipes of the Day (tired of those). Like seriously what food app doesn’t have a recipe for meatloaf not that I am the one in need of how to make meatloaf but I wanted to share a easy recipe with my son.

Doesn’t work
I downloaded this app hoping that I can save the videos I see on Facebook. I tried to use the search to find the recipe and the search does not work. I clicked on favorites to see if I could add a recipe and there’s nowhere to make the search within the favorites. Looking for your recipe with in the categories it’s a total waste of time. I hope you can fix these issues so the app becomes useful.

Good Food...if you can find it
First let me say Delish has some really great recipes over all.
I was excited when I realized they had an app but such a horrible let down. You can hardly search for anything, it’s hard to navigate much less switch from section to section. A MAJOR MAJOR overhaul is needed.
You’re better off not downloading the app and just searching on the web.

Huh?
No joke-maybe the worst food/cooking app I’ve ever seen. The search field produced absolutely no results, both when I searched for a specific recipe that I had just seen featured by delish on Facebook and also when I search something incredibly broad. I’m deleting the app immediately. It’s totally useless, which is really unfortunate as a lot of the recipes are appealing. The app, however, is not.
