-Friends! We have added the ability to see your friends handicaps. Your existing DiabloGolf.com friends will now automatically sync to your device so you can see their up to date scores and handicap.
-Ability to search you existing iOS devices address book for DiabloGolf members to make linking up with your friends even easier (Facebook Friends Search) coming soon.
-Added ability to remove profile images
-Added indicator to scores view page so you know what rounds are used when computing your handicap.

- Fixed issue where app would crash when entering a score manually
- Fixed Issue where app would crash when contacting support on a device running older version of iOS
- Fixed Issue where app would crash when changing password on a device running older version of iOS
- Improved readability of long scorecard names

It appears some iPhones running iOS5 are having an issue with the new version. We are looking into the problem and will have it fixed shortly. iPads running all versions of iOS and and iPhones running iOS6 appear not to be affected.

Diablo App went from the best to the worse app and back good again
I use the iPhone version and I loved the app but the update gives a significantly different handicap than the website. When I go on the web site my handicap is correct but using the app it shows my handicap over three points higher. I don’t understand why. I know the web site is correct because it corresponds to my official USGA entry. I hope they fix it.

Diablo’s Latest Update is OB
I’ve used Diablo golf for the past 4 years or so an carded almost 200 rounds in it. I have recommended it to all of my golf buds and it was an elite app. Then they updated it within the last week and literally turned it into a useless brick. I’ve already found a replacement app sadly. Here is why I switched. The app no longer correctly calculates handicaps. It is counting all 20 of your most recent scores. It also no longer displays your differentials for your rounds as it previously did. The last and most annoying change, which differentiated it from EVERY other app was the ability to manually adjust the slope and rating of a course. If you’ve played as much as I have you know that the slope and rating on the card doesn’t always match what’s in the app. This was a great feature that allowed you to make those changes. I’ve reached out to Diablo and they never responded so as I mentioned above, I have been forced to move on. RIP Diablo, you used to be the best.

Desktop site no longer functional
Been using the desktop site for years but that appears to be redirecting to the login page following authentication so they definitely have some problems to fix.
As a result I tried the app and it at least appears to be working. The app is functional, but underwhelming. The fact that users can search for a course from a repository but there be no details other than the name/city is a bad CX. Even worse is the fact that for iOS editing the rating field launches a number pad without a decimal key making it impossible to enter fractional values.
Overall this is disappointing given that DG had been one of the leading options for online handicaps for the past decade.

Amazing App - Thank you
Great app that allows any golfer to know their true handicap without having to pay a fee. I was going around in circles trying to figure out a way to get a handicap that was accurate, and this free app is the one to use. All that’s required is to leave a review for the course you played, which is a win for all parties.

Are version updates current?
Is seems the last update was >3 years ago. My deep question is whether not this app is still supported?
Attempting to contact support to let them know that a course was closed permanently results in an email message which is unable to be sent. The send arrow is grayed out. Sending a concern direct would be so much better than having to place the question in a review.
I’m looking forward to getting my five rounds in and tallied but if the app is dead, what’s the point?
It took my last two rounds and populated the course information automatically. I’ll be looking for something active, current and at a reasonable price. I’m not adverse to paying for an app that works.

Latest update has rendered app useless
I’ll echo the disappointment with the reviews of the post October update! My index went from 6.8 to 4.1 with no scores posted for 3 weeks! Now it does not calculate the differential between the posted score and the rating of the tee box I use. It was a great tool for tracking index/handicap for the last 4 years I’ve been using it. I sent a message to support through the website link and no acknowledgment of receiving or that they’re aware of the problem. Hope they fix it, but in the mean time I’ll track my scores manually.

Great app until the “updated” it
This was a fantastic app for many years. I recommended it to everyone, easy to use, easy to adjust the slope/railing if needed. Updated handicap every couple of weeks. All around awesome, until… the last update. Now my handicap is t displaying correctly, the display is ugly and not user friendly, you can no longer manually adjust the scope/rating when needed. I emailed the company a couple of times and never received a response. There is no information on their site. I’m search of a new app, very unfortunate.

For those that haven’t taken the time to get a USGA Handicap, this is a great app. Especially if you’re just starting to record all scores to have a handicap when playing competitive events. (Not an actual USGA handicap, so make sure it’s not required) But this is pretty darn accurate and comparable to the paid version. Easy to use.

Course Rating and Slope
I am not sure why I now have to enter my home course slope and rating. I have been playing here for years and using this app for years. All of a sudden my course does not register. Makes me think I should look for another option. I also don’t like the new format and how it shows scores. Finally I entered a score the other day, but entered the wrong date. Wish I could go back and make and edit.

Poor Update
I’ve been using the app since 2014 as my sole source of golf handicap. The latest update doesn’t allow you to put in slope and rating as my home course has been updated in August. You can’t see course ratings or slope anymore. It also has showed my last five scores as verified. It also doesn’t allow you to search or input courses that have been played in other countries. Very disappointed.
