Thisisazy,
Absolutely beautiful but...
There are a few features I would like to see in future updates:

1. Sound effect settings. It’s weird that my custom raw wood background sound the same as a tabletop. Probably better with a butcher block option. Metallic sound for custom metal backgrounds. Muffled table for felted backgrounds, etc. Different sound effect settings would just be an awesome addition.

2. A manual light configuration. I don’t need the light to reposition constantly to see how cool my custom dice look. They have plenty of excellent movement to display their various faces. While the repositioning light source is a tidy effect, I’d like to shut it off when I’m playing on my own.

3. Slide setting for surface gloss in customizations. I love my tartan dice, but they’re actually too glossy with the graphics all the way up, but turning the graphics down doesn’t help unless I take them way down, and then the experience isn’t remotely equal.

4. Preset number configurations. If we could auto add faces from a selection of preset alfa-layered numerical styles, it would make customization way easier. Creating a numbered template takes a minimal level of skill, but to engrave and shadow pips, or numbers, or whatever, takes a bit more skill, and for the sake of universal ease of use, this would be a major bonus.

I would give this app ten stars if it had these features. This has been an aesthetically priceless addition to my personal gaming experience.

Bravo!
PRWindowCleaner,
I want to love it...
This looks like it would do everything I could ever want in a dice app. My problem is this app seems like it doesn’t want to take my money. If you have a die already open and you go to edit it, you cannot access the catalog of new or custom styles, only what you have already downloaded. It took me way too much time to figure out the only way was to add a new die, and then you had access to the “catalog” button. When I finally found that, went to the bottom and selected “create your own dice,” I was finally given the option to unlock premium. The next problem was when I clicked “unlock,” I got “Oops! Something went wrong. Purchasing unavailable.” Next, I tried to contact the developer through the website. There was a “contact us” section, but there was no “submit” button.
I’m sorry to put in a three star review on what looks like is an awesome app that will perfectly meet my needs, but it looks like this might be my only way to provide feedback. Please provide a “upgrade to premium” button in the main menu or a free and a premium version in the App Store. (Now shut up and take my money!🙃)
voivoed,
Almost perfect
Beautiful app, it’s easy to use and lets you create all sorts of custom dice (with in-app purchase, which is totally worth it).

Falls just short of 5 stars, only because the way to create and save the “setups” is really clunky and unintuitive. You save a setup by switching to another setup, which means that if you remove a die or add one just for a one-time roll, as soon as you switch setups for a different roll, the changes are saved and your original setup is now ruined. Very annoying when you’re playing a game and the GM gives you a bonus die for example just for this one roll. The setups should be saved only when you want them to be saved (an additional button on the setup drop down for example, alongside the “edit name” and “delete” buttons).

Other than this design issue, I definitely recommend this app.
Tarak the barbarian,
Good but some things I don’t understand
When you start, you only can roll certain dice. Don’t sure how I did it but unlocked them all. I think it would be better if you get the normal dice off of the bat. I did some long testing on the d20s and it had odd results. I rolled it over 250 times and I found that there is certain numbers that are rolled quite a bit more commonly than others. I documented every roll and ended with and average of 11.1. Seems a little high but reasonably close the the expected average of 10.5. The only thing that lowered its rating was the off beginning and certain numbers being rolled fairly commonly while others are much more rare.
Devin Parker,
The Best Physics-Based Customizable Dice Roller
Ever since I first saw a smartphone, I wanted a dice roller that would respond to me shaking the phone in order to roll the dice. Simple enough, right? But by the time I got a smartphone of my own I couldn’t find any. Other dice rollers sufficed, but I wanted that visceral quality. This app features that, but everything else about it is what really inspired me to write a review. The inexpensive full version of this app lets me download templates that I can put into Photoshop and easily design my own dice. I’ve made custom dice for a ton of my RPGs now, including the ones that required specialty dice. You can save custom backgrounds with sets of dice and save them so you can easily switch between sets when you play. This app is the best dice roller I’ve found, period.
Faren Halven,
Hands Down the Best!
This is definitely the best dice rolling app. You can have multiple different configurations and set ups. It’s 399 one time to upgrade to premium. Even the free version doesn’t have a ton of ads, and they offer so much flexibility. Don’t be fooled by the lack of ratings on this app, it’s still new, and they’re still making more stuff. There are a lot of features that I would like to see in the future. First of which is being able to copy dice from one set up to another, and being able to link or unlink the percentage dice. I really like this app, and I will be using it for my dice rolling in the future. Keep up the great work, I look forward to updates!
Grabnok the Destroyer,
This is power.
I have never experienced such an overwhelming sense of pure power. I used this to choose whether or not I would finish a game playthrough, on the hardest difficulty. 1 for yes, 2 for no. It landed on 1 and I finished with no interruptions and I did it perfectly. I then used the app to choose whether or not I would go out for food, 1 for yes, 2 for no. I landed on 1, but my buddies decided they didn't want to get food. Then, a friend of mine came in my house with Taco Bell, and it was for all of us. No one ever asked them to get food, and they did it before we could've asked them anyways. Also there's no ads, so yeah 5 stars
toddnr,
Great dice roller with lots of features
Works very well for my needs. The one feature I’d like to see added is the ability to require a two-finger tap to roll. It’s a little too easy to accidentally bump the screen and roll the dice when you didn’t intend to. I see this especially being an issue in a situation where you want to pass the device around.
dlaptop,
Die or Dice
No doubt that this is a great app for when you’re missing dice for most games. I was disappointed when I could only create one custom die. I was not able to play the game I wanted because it required crating two different custom dice. I felt it was accurate and yet misleading that I could “create dice” since I could only create one at a time. If there is a way to create more than one custom die I apologize because I couldn’t figure it out. If there isn’t, I would hope there was a way to add this option. I would not have purchased the app had I known that I could only create one die at a time...but I still want to support the developer so no refund required.
Doom1111111,
Just what I needed... love it... free too!
Used board game was missing dice so downloaded this quickly to play. Loved it the free version did exactly what we needed. 2 d20 and 2 d6 all different colors. I was able to quickly figure it out without instructions and get playing. I will highly recommend this dive roller !!!! Didn’t find out about the swipe up and down until later but they would really help with other games. :)
