bchin.herein,
Beautiful clean interface
I don’t like skeuomorphism so this app fits the bill. I like the shortcut to tap and hold on a dice to easily roll multiple dice at a time, or just tap the die icon multiple times. To include modifiers, you can tap the minus or plus icon. A history feature would be nice, but I’m willing to forgo roll history for the clean interface. It’s great the free/trial version is fully functional. You can pay for different color themes, I bought a theme just to support the developer.
EpicCleric,
Wonderful except for...
This is a fantastic app and I recommend it to anyone looking for something simple, quick, and effective. However, even though it is a free app I find it to be very disappointing that they do not offer a “night” mode for free.

Don’t get me wrong. People want to make money from their work. We all have to eat and pay bills but I would have expected, at the very least, a dark mode and light mode (aka. Day/night) to be free.

Thus I can only offer 4 stars. I was tempted to give 3 stars but it does do everything I want short of my desired “Night” mode.

One more thing. When looking at the pay versions, I can’t help but feel if I were to pay, I would want a more esthetic looking desktop option. Might I suggest extending the options players can purchase to include some nice visual options or the desktop. Perhaps a wooden table with beer steins and food plates on the edge or a grassy area with a clear dirt spot for the dice rolling. Perhaps an iron pan over a fire if you want to add animation even. The background options are endless. Don’t be so bland and dull if you want people to pay for something.

These days when competing with others, esthetics mean everything for mass interest. If not then why does your competition have 3D dice rolling too.

Just saying.
marg02136,
Almost perfect
I really like this app it's simple and beautiful, however there are a couple things I think could improve it.

I wish that the most prominent part of the display wasn't the sum of whatever dice you roll. A lot of the time I don't care what they add up to, I'm looking at the individual rolls and those numbers see so tiny and gray. For example I want to see if it was two 3's, but I don't need to know that it adds up to 6. I think the sum is useful, just don't think it should be the most prominent. There's so much unused screen space I feel like there is room to improve this.

I also think it would be nice if there was a way to remove an individual roll. Say you roll 3 d20s but you meant to only roll 2. If you could click on the last roll and remove it that would be helpful instead of having to reset and go again.
A - 6,
Generally Ok
The art style is minimalistic and nice to look at. Everything has a function and is useful to an extent not seen by other dice rolling apps. The app does not lag and there is no perceived stutter. (The quotes when no dice are rolled are nice.) That said, there are some issues. The subtraction feature doesn’t allow you to subtract dice and if you accidentally rolled an extra die you can’t just get rid of it, you have to start anew and reroll all the dice again. A large complaint is that it doesn’t roll percentages useful in such instances as a Call of Cuthulu campaign. And another is that you cannot roll dice that simply do not exist or are not commonly found. A d3 for instance might be needed for a niche situation but cannot be found in the app in the current build.
That Wimpy Healer,
Best app I have ever used
My family was playing Jeopardy on Alexa and the answer was a number, but we didn’t know what number. So I Heroically whipped this app out and hit the 20 die button once.
It said the number 8, so we went with that, and what do you know? It was right!
So this is the best app ever and I am not only going to use it for games like DND I’m gonna use it to make all my life decisions :)
CDubs_,
Really like the simplicity
One feature I’d really like to see (even if it’s a paid feature) is the ability to add line breaks that sum everything within that break and the “Main” total starting at 0 at the last line break.

Basically perfect
The app is simple, easy, and fun. I just wish there was a d3, d5, and d30, they aren’t used as often so I understand that they aren’t in there but it would be amazing if you could customize your dice tray with the dice you need.
CyBrownTown,
Preset roll options?
Love the app! I wonder if there’s a way to include preset roll options?
For example, my character in DnD often rolls 2d6+2 and 1d4+1d8+1. It’s not hard to hit those separate dice, but I think it’d be cool to also have the ability to save specific rolls and name them (main attack roll or fireball roll)
Just a thought!
Jed Jerrikko,
I have bad luck
I use this for DnD and 70% of the time (not exactly) I get a number less than 10 on the d20 so I guess I have bad luck. The app is aesthetically pleasing and functions great. The automatically added die is a great feature
JJ_The_Ent,
Pretty good, reroll feature?
Pretty good! i love the minimalist style of it, perfect for what i wanted. i do however wish it had the feature to just keep the dice you put in and re roll the dice
instead of having to entirely reset it.
