This new version adds a new dialog for Levels. This is where you select how many Levels you want to see in the xsheet. It also lets you RENAME LEVELS to help you keep track of what's in them, LOCK LEVELS so they don't get edited by mistake and you can HIDE LEVELS to save room on your screen.

Great animation app
I love that this is a dedicated animation app, with all of the standard animation tools included. It all works pretty well, especially for the price.
I would absolutely pay more for this app if it included the following tweaks:
1) a drawing experience more similar to Procreate’s, where you can choose from (and create) a variety of brushes and textures, and with some streamlining options to smooth out the lines.
2) more organizational options within the app, beyond just “scenes”on the main screen. It would be nice to have a folder structure to organize various elements of an animation.
Overall I really like this app, but with those added tweaks, it would be amazing.
I would absolutely pay more for this app if it included the following tweaks:

Semi functional
I bought the app because I needed an animation program but it’s kinda janky unfortunately. It crashes constantly but only saves your progress 50% of the time when it does that and sometimes and just decides not to download correctly?? I used it for 20 minutes and it crashed 3 times during that. I would use it more if it were more stable but I wouldn’t even mind all of that if it had a stabiliser for the pen.
The layout is pretty easy to get a handle on though and the app is pretty beginner friendly. I’ve been using it for small things where I draw in another app and import to this to throw it together and it’s functional. Like I said I’d love for it to have a stabiliser or a feature that lets you select multiple photos to import at one time.

FlipPad Crashes when uploading videos
FlipPad is pretty great because you can take it on the go, the interface is really clean and intuitive. However, I’ve noticed that FlipPad does crash when I try to upload videos. I work on a Wacom cintique on windows at home and I just find it easier to use. But sometimes I like to switch my animation to the individual frames from flip book and upload it to my flippad, I can upload a file of frames in two seconds on flip book, but I have to upload frames one by one to FlipPad which is frustrating when I have 300 frames. Additionally when I try uploading my animation as a video instead, it will upload the sound but not the frames, and then directly after crash.

App Froze Won’t Reload Without Paying For It Again,
This animation app has been pretty great and helpful until it freezes up and you have to delete it and reload it. This is only the second time it’s happened since we purchased the app in August of this year 2022. However, it’s at a truly frustrating point that it occurred. My son is one fourth of the way done with his animation assignment and the the app froze up completely. We tried closing and restarting the app., Updating the iPad Pro, restarting the iPad Pro, deleting only the project he is currently working on and finally deleting the app entirely. I just tried to reload the app and it’s giving me the option to purchase the upgrade price of $1.99. It’s not that much money but it shouldn’t be this way. Please fix this problem for us so he can continue with his work today.

Dear creators of this app I have a complaint only 2 number 1 every time I get to my 50th layer my brush get huge and I can’t fix the brush so I keep having to delete the app and reinstall it >:> Number 2 sorry if I sound like. Karen I really don’t want to lol but it’s a really nice editing app it’s just you have to. Pay for a premium to get new colour palettes and more layers I wasn’t the biggest fan of that but I could deal with it.I hope you don’t take me as a Karen |:} thanks but I hope people find this a little useful thanks for reading this junk |:3

No sound when exporting video
The app is easy to use and works well when sound is imported. It is a fantastic way to animate traditionally, using the iPad. You can time your rough poses and easily synchronize them to the sound. But when you try exporting the video; the sound doesn’t export with the video.
I contacted tech support, and to their credit, you get an answer right away. I received the promise that this issue was going to be fixed over the weekend. Perhaps there may be an issue related to the fact that QuickTime is not allowed to be used in iPad, or maybe not. The fact is; I purchased the paid version and an updated was promised, but when trying it, the issue persisted.

The issue of sound not exporting has to do with sound format. Exporting sound works, if you use MP3. Tech support helped me figure it out. For the price, this app is the best!

A good app, although it has some bugs in it.
Hi, i came across this app and by the ads i thought it would be a good one from how smooth the ads were. When i got it, i followed the tutorial. So when i made an animation some of the frames randomly got deleted. Can you fix it? Also can you add more fps and frames, yea i know we can get more frames, colors, etr, for 2$ but I’d like a bit more frames. And the colors were a bit too less. Like please add more. And can you add more tools. Like rulers, like circle, square, etr. Overall its a good animation app for beginners but please fix the bugs and add more. And can you add like layers, what i mean is like layers for hair, body, sketch, etr it will be helpful.

Very cool app!
I was looking for something that approximates Procreate’s animation assist feature, that can be used for longer animations. This comes pretty close. Tech support is fantastic and personal, and I’ve been told that many of the tools I asked about are on the way. They are going to build FlipPad up to the capacity of their desktop/laptop app FlipBook. Looking forward!

Fix this
I was just was testing some apps then I came upon this app when i saw it i was wondering what it was about so i installed it but when I tried to press the tools nothing happened i kept pressing them over and over again but nothing happened can you fix this or at least tell me the problem :)
