Love it! Traditional Journaling with a Twist!
As a psychotherapist, I understand the many benefits and value that journaling can have for my clients. Not only can it help by reducing stress, problem solving efficiently, but also to have a deeper connection with our inner selves. I tried DiveThru and I found it to be so useful! I enjoyed the fact it keeps the original handwritten format, since I believe that physically writing in our journal can be so much more healing. I loved the fact that the app complimented my journaling by incorporating mindfulness and deep breathing to clear my mind prior to journaling, which is essential. The reflection at the end was also helpful to gather all my thoughts and quickly summarize what I wrote. I liked that it gave journaling more of a structure by being able to select how long the session would be and super cool that it keeps track of my summaries! Better yet, it has hundreds of topics and prompts to write about for those days when it's difficult to collect my ideas. I will be recommending this app to my clients, especially now that is 100% free in response to COVID!

As a licensed therapist, I highly value and recommend the therapeutic benefits of journaling. The DiveThru app is the perfect combination of guided breathing exercises paired with opportunities for mindful reflection. I have been searching for a virtual journaling option to utilize on-the-go and recommend to clients. DiveThru checks all the boxes! The app is easily accessible and user-friendly. I especially appreciate how DiveThru encourages users to check-in with the emotion they are feeling prior to journaling. This helps facilitate intentional self-exploration and connection. Regularly recording your thoughts has several mental health benefits including the development of insight into your emotions and behaviors. Simple practice for anyone to implement
As a licensed clinical psychologist who primarily works with teens, I love finding apps that I can suggest to them, but ones that I would also use. I love how each journal prompt starts with a meditation and how you are able to set the length of the meditation/journaling time. Every time I have used this app to journal and meditate I instantly feel better. Additionally, since the app asks you to re-read what you wrote and then recap your journaling, it really allows you to reflect on the peaceful moment you just had, even if it was only for a couple minutes. Further, given the pandemic, I truly appreciate that DiveThru has made this app accessible to everyone and has created specific coronavirus prompts, which I know is going to help so many people.

Great for anyone and everyone!
I say this from a college student’s perspective. Most of my days are jam packed with classes, weekends and nights are filled with work and homework. I have a cat who needs attention. Bills to pay. Normal things! BUT!!! This app is so easy and customizable. I can choose how long I want the DiveThru for, I can set reminders to do it before I sleep, and I can even just turn off the tv for a few and start a new journaling section. If you’ve ever wanted to get into journaling but don’t have the time or money to make a bullet journal or something like that... this is for YOU! I typically type how I feel (just faster and easier)! It’s truly a great app and I hope you’ll try it out!

Such a beautiful experience
This app is wonderful. It gives a space to help you journal and work subconsciously through blocks and issues. It can help you deal with your limiting beliefs around food, your insecurities in and around your body and so much more.
As someone who regularly journals Dive thru gave me a new way to look at journaling and it is also a great way to start journaling if you’ve wanted to start a practice but are lost at how and where to start.
It’s also great that you have the option of how long you want to stay in an exercise because it can take you less than six minutes.
I love this app and have only just began my journey with it. ❤️❤️

The Ultimate Tool for Growth
Dive Thru is unlike any other app I’ve encountered. It’s simple design keeps things stress free while also covering all the little details! I’ve been intending to better my journaling practice for months now yet haven’t been able to stay consistent. Within a week of using Dive Thru I’ve become a journaling machine, always reaching for pen and paper the moment I feel the need to! Without Dive Thru guiding me through it, I wouldn’t be as committed to personal growth as I am right now. I wish this had more recognition
I am a journal collector and I never write in any of them or keep with it. This app helps me every single day and I LOVE that it combines online journaling with physical pen to paper! I cannot recommend this more! I would like to see more prompts,themes, etc. but the ones that they have are great and certainly enough to keep me busy. I wish that this app was more well known because it helped me and could help so many more people. This is a 5 star experience and I wish the best of luck to you all on your divethru journey:)

Truly life changing!
I’ve been using this app for almost a little over a month now and I can truly say it’s been life changing. I’ve always been an avid journaler, but there are many times where even journaling seems too overwhelming. Having the option to do guided dives has been so helpful when my brain is that jumbled of a state. From work-related stress as an entrepreneur, to normal 20-something-year-old life worries, to dealing with a crazy health journey, DiveThru has given me solace and clarity when I’ve needed it most. So beyond thankful for this app!

A MUST HAVE
I rarely write reviews even for apps that I like but I gotta say this one I definitely had to! I have ADHD so journaling on a notebook is near impossible because I misplace it so often. The recent added features of mood and being able to journal in the app is perfect for me. It helps me track my moods and also gives good guiding questions to help navigate that emotional state. It very direct and easy to navigate and also does not take a really long time. Highly Highly recommend!

This app allows you to be more intentional with how you approach self-care. The in-app breathing exercises remind you of the importance of mindfulness and how critical it is to your every day. There are reminders you can set throughout the day that you can use as positive reinforcements. The ability to journal within the app also allows for greater self-discovery, growth, and gaining a deeper understanding of your feelings. This app allows you to feel centered — any time, any place! What an incredible way to work on and reward yourself!
