We have discovered a bug in the current version (2.1.2) of Doceri preventing users from creating new projects. We will be correcting this very soon. However, it takes several days for our update to be approved by Apple. In the meantime, a workaround is to open an existing sample project and clear all strokes in the sample project to write in it as if it were a new project.

Having Trouble with IOS7?
Doceri works with iOS7 but there are a few bugs we have yet to fix. Our engineers are working diligently on a new version specifically for iOS7 that should be out within a few weeks.
In the meantime, please use these simple fixes for the most common issues users have encountered with Doceri and iOS7:
Recording – Doceri requires the use of the microphone of the iPad in order to record audio for videos. To enable this feature for Doceri specifically, go to your iPad's Settings > Privacy > Microphone and slide the toggle switch to the right (green) next to Doceri to enable this feature.
File Naming – You are still able to name and rename newly created files and folders created in Doceri. If you see a grey screen when attempting to do this, rotate the iPad 90 degrees to clear up the screen and return it to normal.
Inserting Photos with the iPad camera – When in landscape mode, the camera does not appropriately orient itself accordingly. Rotate the iPad to portrait view and the camera should display correctly.
Doceri GoodPoint Stylus – The stylus does not currently work with iOS7 on some iPad models so we encourage you to keep iOS6 until we have released our update.

WHERE IS THE UPDATE!
I’ve been using this app for about 5 years now and it has been great. But, it desperatly needs an update now! Especially with the iPadOS 15 UI that just came out. I found my first major glitch, I cannot create a pdf of my slides, when I try doceri will just shut down!!!!!!
I know you guys are still there, I called your help line and spoke with a lady that works in the office. She told me to email you guys. I did send an email a few weeks ago but have yet to get a response.
What’s the deal guys? This is so frustrating!!!

iPad Pro Issues
Update. Issue still not fixed. I can’t connect to Doceri desktop. I can do it with an older version iPad but not my iPad Pro. Please help. The school bought a license that I can’t even use.
I absolutely love this app. I even purchased the license for the desktop. However, I am having issues using the app with my brand new iPad Pro. It has become an inconvenience while teaching. I am unable to add a photo from my library. I have given the app permission to access photos. it allows me to go as far as selecting the photo but then it never appears on the screen. I am having to take photos of paper just to display on the board. The app continues to crash while I am teaching and it also won’t allow me to write at times. I’m usually having to wait a minute before I can write again.

Are you still working on this app?
My feelings about this app go beyond love. This incredible tool has changed my life. I teach high school and this app has transformed my classroom management because I can write on the board from anywhere in the room. Beyond that the functionality is truly phenomenal, from copying and editing stroke-by-stroke to video animation, even great flexibility with pens, colors and textures. Please come come back and keep this app going strong into the future. We need you now more than ever during remote learning!

Best Whiteboard App, but...
Doceri is probably one of the best whiteboard app for the lectures. First you don’t need Doceri Desktop (yes you will not be able to move freely without yet). The reason why this is a killer app for lectures is because it has a timeline. The timeline allows you to pause the lecture at any point, thus allowing you to explain the concept. Yes, there are many things this program needs and I hope Doceri is moving forward in making this program better.

Fantastic but outdated
This was a fantastic app. Perfect for educators doing live classes or doing voice overs of pre-made slides. The ability to play back the slide pen stroke by pen stroke with preplanned stops was perfect. Combined with the desktop app, I routinely used this for lecture and office hours during the pandemic. Unfortunately it hasn’t been updated in many years. The interface is a bit quirky for file management and sharing. I would happily have paid again for a new version.

Needs update BADLY
This app is wonderful. I use it DAILY for teaching math. I started using it when it was released. It is perfect for giving daily notes, using slideshows, etc...
HOWEVER...this app was last updated 2 years ago according to eh App Store...there are bugs with adding photos and most recently I discovered that it won’t open in full screen for the iPad Pro.
PLEASE update this app...I’m not sure how an app like this has been forgotten by its developers for so long but please do something about it.

Great...long term support?
This has been great for the hybrid/virtual teaching I have been doing this year. Being Java based at least for the desktop and not having an update for 2 years, I am concerned about long term support. I am hesitant to update to a new iOS because right now it works.

Used at its full potential
Most people use it for school work but me?I use it at it’s full potential, you can animate anything or just draw for fun really!School work, creativity, animation anything really!whoever made this thank you, you made something amazing with lost of potential and use you people are amazing keep doing whatever it is you are :)

Never should have purchased
I had problems when I first purchased it and then finally managed to get most of them resolved. I left the app and Desktop app idle for the past 4 months and went to use it again, only to find new connectivity issues that prohibit me from being able to use it. This was a waste of money in my mind. 2 stars because they had good service, but the product isn’t worth the aggravation.

April 2022 - don’t waste your money
This app hasn’t been updated in so long. I highly recommend not purchasing this app. It is loaded with bugs and it is just not good. Also there’s huge lag and delay from the point you use Apple Pencil to write and to when it shows up on the screen you are mirrored to. It is useless . Get a different application all together
