Doodle Buddy is AMAZING

This app is great overall. I love how you can doodle with a HUGE range of colors and how there are all these features- stamps, stencils, glitter, chalk effects, smudging/blending effects, different backgrounds, etc. Even though when it was updated last year, they took away most of the regular stamps and replaced them with all the regular emojis (which doesn't make sense bc you can add your own emojis in text boxes), but it's still a great app. I use it all the time. Sometimes I use a photo from my camera roll as a background for a drawing and, not to brag or anything, but I actually have made some really great drawings that look professional and so good because of all the excellent painting tools. Doodle Buddy is absolutely great and I love it. Great job guys! 💜🎨

Amazing app for coloring, But terrible app for presentations

Thank God you got a rid of the shake to erase feature, I know it’s still on there but it will ask you if you want to erase when you shake it. That’s not my real issue, there’s so many features that I need on there, there’s no eraser! if you want to remove a mistake, you have to clear off the whole drawing!? Why not have an eraser so you can remove something and not the whole drawing. And do you know the textbox you can type stuff in which is cool but there’s one problem with it, if you’re trying to drag it somewhere and you accidentally tap, it permanently stays on and you can’t move it to where you want it to be anymore. Can you just tap it then you can move it? One other say I need, is how do Undo and redo all the way! Every time I try to undo or redo everything, it doesn’t work! If you undo a mistake, it will randomly come back if you keep drawing! The last project I was trying to do was the history of North America. It was all messed up thanks to this app! Apple Keynote or Adobe would be better to do presentations, and Google slides. So I was so very upset and I deleted this app for what it just did. Thank you for understanding. Goodbye.

One annoying glitch that ruins an otherwise great app.

So, this app is fun. I used it all the time when I was younger, and still use it for quick sketches/doodles from time to time. Lately I've been using it for funny pictures and short animations that I send my friends. We love them. The problem is, drawing in the app can be a real pain. In general, I know this app is for younger kids, like ages 4-9, and so I can't expect it to be very advanced. But there is one annoying glitch that drives me up a wall. Every. Single. Time. It's hard to explain, but basically a diagonal line will automatically appear between two vertical lines as soon as I begin drawing the second vertical line. I don't know why this feature was added, as I can't see how it benefits the artist in any way. In addition, when I attempt to hit the "go back" button, it erases all three of the lines, not just the diagonal line. I have tried and tried to figure out how to avoid the glitch, but it always seems to appear, making me have to compromise on my drawing to avoid having several diagonal lines appear all over the drawing I just created. Please fix this weird feature, because I've had fun with the app, but it isn't worth the frustration at all.

Pretty good, but needs some new features.

I like the new stamp store they added, you can even add pictures you took as backgrounds! However, I would like some new features. For example, more text fonts and stamps. I would also like a paint bucket tool, a magnifying glass tool, and a color picker. There’s also a glitch that sometimes when I use the square stencil in the second row, I can only draw outlines of the square, then I have to fill it all in with the brush. I’d also like a load button for the saved pictures you have. And there’s another glitch where the first color at the color option stays there, even if use a different color. (For example, yellow is the first at the color list of my most recent colors, and it still stays there, even when I use black, blue, red, etc.) Other than that, it’s really good! I recommend it! 😃

Need way to disable "shake-to-erase"!

I am an elementary school technology teacher. I've been using this app for years with my PreK and Kindergraten classes. The app is fantastic except for one HORRIBLE feature. When you shake the iPad, the entire drawing disappears! Poof! Gone! And there is no way to turn this feature off!

I can't tell you how many times little children have lost their work because they accidentally shook their iPad. Sometimes they'll be sitting on the carpet, and the iPad will slide off their lap onto the floor, causing their work to vanish. And if they've been working hard on a drawing, or labeling a detailed diagram, they'll sometimes start to cry when they see all their work disappear in an instant.

I am writing a book about educational technology. I want to recommed this app in my book. However, if this app is likely to make children cry, I may not include it. Please, please, please create a way to turn off this feature!

Good/Bad changes needed!

I say it's pretty fine, but there needs to be changes like: You can make stuff with playdough kind so when you draw it will be realistic. Please do get mad at me I am just saying that's why it's called "Write a Review" okay so please don't get mad at me! 🙃

And yeah, they need more colors. And things you can trace also like a human,or a animal,the sky, stores. And more! It will be like "art" I say it's lovely and yeah but I just want those to be added,you know like some humans get bored of the same stuff right? The game is wonderful! 😊

Great app! Recommend

I have had this app since before 2013. Back then it was ok and all and I liked it. A few things that bothered me... but after this new update, i was impressed! This app lets you have so much freedom. I don’t think age matters when using this app. Now yeah i did rate it five stars, but there are some disadvantages I wanna talk about. Ads? Way too many! At least it doesn’t mess up the way you draw. Also, I know this app is more on the younger kids side and little kids don’t mind what tools they use for drawing, but maybe just add a bit more. Just a suggestion. Besides that, I love this app and recommend.

DVf got godfather game for my first game in my game and it has a game of thrones game with me since the last time of game play so it takes me to time to get my friends game to game of time and game with a game like that I’ve been to this for a while but it takes time for the game takes forever and takes a lot to get it done but I have been to this for years and have had it for a long year and a few hours of game play but I cannot it is a good way game of the time it takes me time and time for the time to play the time I get the game play and it y I want to be a good parent right now and it was a good day.

I love you too buddy because it really shows a lot of feeling and you can actually draw how you’re feeling and I hear emotions in them it’s really cool especially where you can like put stamps and you can use stencils and you can even take a picture of something as your background the color on and it’s so cool so people who haven’t tried it you should definitely try it and I am by the way if you were people who made it if you guys could and I would like so you could like him upgrade to the body and all the games you made and make it Saturday I don’t do it nobody
