With the new Ducati Link App you can experience and enjoy your Ducati even more completely.
Thanks to the Ducati Multimedia System you can connect your mobile phone to the motorbikes via Bluetooth and thanks to the App you will be able to set the parameters of your Ducati in order to improve comfort and riding style, record your itineraries and your saddle performance data and always be updated on the interval schedule of maintenance of your bike. Get immediately into a community of friends with whom you can share experiences, trips, events and goals achieved thanks to Ducati Link.
If you do not own a motorcycle with the Ducati Multimedia System you can still use the App with the possibility of recording a reduced data set but still accessing the other features.
Caution (warning): continuous use of the GPS signal can have a significant impact on the battery life of the mobile phone.
FUNCTIONS
Access the App with your Ducati account or create your profile to stay connected with the Ducati digital world. Add your picture (a picture/photo of you) and your nickname and immediately connect your bike to start travelling (your journey).
You and your bike – every riding session you can:
- Record your performance along the entire itinerary (route) (speed, bend angle, acceleration and other data mapped through the whole route, along with average maximum values and statistics)
- Modify all the parameters of the bike (load mode, riding mode etc..) and save different driving scenarios
- Record the itinerary (total km, driving hours, map)
- View and check statistics about the bike and your activities
- View informations on maintenance intervals
IMPORTANT: You can track route and performance also without the connection with the bike recording a smaller set of data
You and your travels – every riding session you can:
- Save your itinerary, add a title, description, pictures and tags to enrich your travel diary and relieve it whenever you want
- Share with your friends – in the App and on social media – all riding experience and saddle adventures
- Choose an itinerary from the public ones and follow the track on the map
You and the others
- Search for friends around you to visualize their activities and expand your network
- Organize your event, share it and invite your friends. You can organize (arrange) gatherings or travelling tours with different stages

This feature allows you to display the navigation directions on the dashboard, showing the route turn by turn and giving additional route information.

Wish I could give Zero stars
For an app that is supposed to support an ultra-premium product, this is a profound disappointment. The app refuses to pair with my 2019 Diavel 1260 S, and there is absolutely ZERO support from Ducati to help with this issue. I’m joined a Diavel forum where countless others have this issue as well- all with no support from Ducati. What a disgrace to the name and legacy of an incredible machine.

Potential but a lot of work
Ducati I love you guys but please get this updated for the panigale v4s, one of flagship pieces of art. Please make it functional and I can love my bike even more, if that’s possible. I will remove this review once that happens

App could be cool, but...
It’s so damned buggy. Some good proportion of the time it perpetually hangs at login (although this could be well backend problems), other times it crashes mid-ride and only at the end do I notice it never captured my ride data.
Most irritating maybe? In this iteration (as opposed to the predecessor Multistrada Link app), sitting stopped at a light, the app goes to a resume/end screen that allows iOS to shut off the screen. Good luck unlocking the phone and opening the app again with gloves on.

Won’t launch on iPhone XS with latest OS
I am a very experienced iPhone/Mac OS user/programmer, so I feel pretty confident that I’m not making some stupid mistake. Through the app I have registered a new account, but when I log in to the app with that account, I get a progress bar that quickly fails and returns me to the login page. Over and over...
I last tried using this app years ago, but found it too buggy to spend much time with. I’m pleased to see that they’re now saving me some time by not even allowing me into the app.

Terrible quality
My use-case is simple: I want to be able to see data like lean angle, acceleration etc. to measure how I progress. I have most of it on dash of my other bike(aprilia) wanted same here.
Bike does provide the data, but app keeps logging out, log in hangs even when I have connectivity (why do I have to have internet to read lean angle sensor data?) Interface is counter-intuitive and overall quality of the app is terrible, basically renders this app unusable.

App crashes while riding 95% of the times
Very poor app, the design is nice but quality is terrible. Most of the rides start and disappear because the app crashes. Not only, you can’t login again, need to delete the app and reistall... almost 1 year like this, not a minimum improvement... very disappointing, you should hire someone better with app design...

Could be fun
There is a lot of potential here, but there are some missing UX pieces right now that are frustrating. For example, there is no clear way to change KM to miles for US users. Also, it would be great to use the app to plan for a trip, not just record one. I hope they keep hacking at it. In the end, it could be fun

Number of stars for the amount of times it worked
It *would collect some cool data. But all but the first itinerary displays correctly. Had a 90 min ride that shows all my lean angles and speed etc. but the summery shows 0mi 0time. Pretty much the same for all the other itineraries. Like others have stated, very buggy. Cool concept. But functionally useless.

Often the App crashes mid-ride and all the recorded data for that ride is lost.
If I sign-in to the app on another phone, only some of my itineraries will show up. Syncing with the server is terrible.
Often, you have to login due to the App randomly logging you off, and it takes too long to log-in or it won’t log-in at all.

Nice but no MPH
It’s a neat app-I specially like the lean angle.. For riders here in the United States though, could you please make it selectable to miles per hour?
It’s amusing reading the prior reviews from people who are upset that it won’t connect to their Ducati’s- The first connected/Bluetooth enabled motorcycle to my knowledge that Ducati ever made is the 2018 Multistrada.
