Enjoy chasing high scores on the endless leaderboards? Get ready for the new “Endless Encore Mode”, a fast-paced challenge randomly composed from features of the previous Encore Chapters update.
This mode is free for all users!
An all new Speed Run menu has been added. Replay any completed story modes: Story, Epilogue or Encore and do so as quickly as possible. Be warned: the game speeds up while you speed run and if you fail you will lose momentum. Glory awaits whoever can achieve a perfect run.

Due to a bug with the Quickening leaderboard in the previous update we have split the Quickening finesse scores between two boards: Quickening Part 1 and Quickening Part 2. The former tracks Quickening I, II and III. The latter tracks Quickening IV, V, VI.
A small but significant bug with the collision detection was introduced in the last update which has now been rectified. Stage Bargaining IV should now be perfectible again. Thank you Curi42 and AW Prince for your help on solving this!
Also, don’t forget to try listening to the new voice acting from the previous update. Duet soundtrack composer Tim Shiel has collaborated with friend and musician Jojo Petrina to create the voice of Duet - all narrative lines in the game are now spoken in English. Say Hello to The Voice. Duet soundtrack composer Tim Shiel has collaborated with friend and musician Jojo Petrina to create the voice of Duet - all narrative lines in the game are now spoken in English.
We’ve added a variety of new extreme challenges to Duet’s B-Side:
- “Revolution”, a set of challenges focused on spinning and twisting blocks. You will lose control.
- “Quickening”, includes extremely fast but quick challenges.
- “Resilience”, is focused on longer challenges that are endurance based. If Quickening is a sprint then Resilience is a marathon.
- “Transcendence”, originally part of the A-Side. These stages have been relocated and expanded with an additional challenge.
All new challenges include Game Center achievements as well and new finesse leaderboards.
The difficulty of the final Acceptance stages have been tweaked. Acceptance VI has been relocated to the new Resilience area and replaced with a brand new Acceptance VI stage that is more appropriate for the player’s skill at that point.
If you’ve already achieved ‘perfection’ in Acceptance VI you will keep that ‘perfection’ badge in the new challenges.
Lastly, some bug fixes and a new option to toggle the vocal narration on or off.

Exceptional game
I never review mobile games bc they just dont peak my interest to be honest i havent found a good mobile game with good structure that isnt filled with ads since the early 2000s. There just arent any good mobile games anymore all of them are clones of eachother that are filled with ads and micro-transactions, anyways this game is different. One thing i want to point out is the system I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that it doesnt brung you to a menu when you fail and you just start again it takes away the frustration and makes it feel like one long loop. I also am very fond of the level designs and music it never feels like a chore or a annoyance to complete a level. And they all feel very diverse and different, never feels like im playing a repeat of a previous level. The design is simple but pleasant and the voice that moves the game forward is soothing and nice to hear. I like how there arent any scores or timeframes you just play and learn until you complete the level. Its strange because its almost like I subconsciously knew how to play this game, i would complete a level and not even know how i did it. Its very fluent and natural. Overall i love this game its a great game to just relax and play a few rounds if u got the time 100% worth the pricetag, having no adds really enhances the experience i thank the creator for this great little game its nice to see something playable and interesting on the app store. 5 stars.

Fantastic Game
This game is so much fun and exciting and frustratingly hard at times and I absolutely love it. I actually like this game so much that I chose to write a review about it without being asked by anyone. I actually searched for the rate this app link because I wanted to give it 5 stars that badly.
Having said that, i must write this disclaimer: I don’t think this game is for everyone. Some people will not like it, some people might even hate it, but I love it so much that it’s going on my list of top 5 favorite games. Not just too 5 games on my phone, but from any console. I think the game is genius and a lot of fun and I don’t want to ever not have it around.

Some people will not like it, some people might even hate it, but I love it so much that it’s going on my list of top 5 favorite games. Not just too 5 games on my phone, but from any console. I think the game is genius and a lot of fun and I don’t want to ever not have it around.

My all-time FAVORITE mobile game.
I got this app for free via a service called AppGratis years ago, which was shut down. Even in 2023, I have yet to find another mobile game that is as fun as this one. The music is tailored to the gameplay and really sets the mood for each level. The narration is the right speed for a mobile game and provides just enough story to enhance the experience. The gameplay is never easy, but gets easier with experience and some levels take real skill. I like the fact that your mistakes are visible.
My only suggestion for a future expansion would be to try a different type of storyline.

Enchanting
I played this back in 2015 when I was going through a hard time in my life and it was a great distraction. It also helped take my mind off things and ease my anxiety. With it’s entrancing music and the overwhelming feel of calmness from the voice over, this was so easy to get lost in.
I’ve been looking for this game since 2016. I couldn’t remember the name of it and was completely bummed. The other night I opened the App Store and there it was, and I was so stoked.
This app is well worth the play through if you’re going through a hard time, or even just as having a fun, time killing game on your phone.

This Game Helped Me
Upon downloading the game, at first glance it seems to be a boring game. Just an obstacle maneuvering game. However, the titles of the levels, and the narrator speaking is so soothing. This game has helped me a lot with anger issues as well as depression. Duet takes my mind off real life events, and places my attention 100% on the two orbs. This game has also taught me patience along side of teamwork gets the job done. You can’t play the game with one finger, it’s really hard. With that being said, please keep updating the game.

One of the best—please fix bugs
I have returned to this game and its new in-app purchases because of its simple experience that is thought provoking. However—there are now jolting stops in the usually-smooth movement, there are errors with the user interface responsiveness (tiny delays), and sluggishness under the current iOS 16.6 on an iPhone 14 pro max. Please fix this, I need it for organizing myself and my thoughts. It’s a wonderful product, please maintain it.

Please for all that is good in the world update the game devs. I LOVED this game so much when I first got it. I’ve Never purchased Anything in an app before but this was my first and last time I ever would. This game really resonated with me in a way I didn’t think it would and at a time I really needed it. I would enjoy playing new levels or Anything involving the game. Thank you for your time

Absolutely Brilliant Game
Once you find that point of flow it seems as though the game it slows, and you simply go. It’s incredible how’s not playing it for awhile you forget that point, and how good it feels to remember the feeling—returning to the story line, returning to that place within yourself.

My Favorite Mobile Game
I’ve had this game for about a week, and it’s wonderful. The music is great. It’s the perfect difficulty for me. And for some reason, with this game, I don’t get angry like at other games. It’s tricky, you’ll probably fail a lot, but at least for me, it was still peaceful. This game is simple yet still unique and well made. I highly recommend!

Every flight I’ve been on since 2015
I’ve had this game since 2015 or so and played in on a number of flights over the years. It never gets old. To me, this is perfect level of simplicity and challenge that it keeps you wanting to come back. My favorite game ever on iOS. I’m almost in a state of meditation when I play this.
