Dumb.com - Old Radio Shows Hack 3.7 + Redeem Codes

I really want to love this app but for the few weeks that I've had it, it's got a couple serious flaws. The biggest flaw is that at least half of the programs don't play at all, no matter how long I wait. Doesn't matter if I'm using wifi or my own data, a lot of good shows that I REALLY want to listen to don't open at all. Also, this app could really use a timer for auto shut-off. All you really can is either listen to a single program and it shuts off or it goes non-stop. I'd really like some feedback from the app's developers as to how the main issue can be corrected.
On the pro side, I absolutely love the depth and sheer quantity of programs on here. I was happily surprised to find my favorite show, Mindwebs, on here. Too bad I can't listen to all the episodes! ☹️

I’ve been using this app for quite a while and have loved it up until recently. About 1-2 months ago skip repeats started happening so often it is impossible to listen to episodes! Some of these I have listened to before and the skipping was not an issue!

In OTR some skips are to be expected because of they age of the programs and the original cylinders and records from which they were transposed were either imperfect or damaged. That is not the case here. In almost every recording where this happens, it occurs at the start of the broadcast.

Please address this issue so listeners can enjoy these mind’s eye experiences once again.

I am a huge fan of the old radio shows and this app has a huge library of content. Unfortunately, there is very little of their library that you can play. There have been huge flaws in their content for several years now. A huge percentage of their content will not play. A program will load and begin to play, but it almost always will play back the same snippet over and over and skip around continuously. It is impossible to listen to most programs. They either need to fix the problems with the app or take it down altogether. Either they do not know how to fix the problems or simply don’t care. What a shame that such exquisite content cannot be accessed. Please fix your app!!!!

This app has the best selection of OTR shows I've found, but the bugs in the app make them difficult, if not impossible, to enjoy. When I first downloaded this app years ago, it seemed to work well, but, for some reason, it seems to have got worse over time. The worst problem is that many of the recordings continuously skip back several seconds while they're playing, making them impossible to listen to. Additionally , the navigation is difficult; the controls at the top of the page don't even show up on my iPhone--just a blank white space. This would be my favorite OTR source if they could fix these bugs.

This is the greatest collection of shows on the app store. Many rare gems!!! Thanks for putting it together!! One bug that needs fixing, I'm a Voiceover user so not sure if this problem is unique to blind folks, but when I click on a show title, it will play the next show down on the list. Also, The Devil and Mr. O does not play any shows, and some shows like Murder at Midnight take a very long time to load. If you could fix this that would make it the greatest otr app ever.

I love old time radio show and have bought numerous Old Time Radio hard drives for old computers, MP3 CDs,Audio CDs in the past and finally apps for my smartphone prior to discovering this application.

This app isn’t perfect but it has almost every Old Time Radio show imaginable. 10s of Thousands of Hours (probably months maybe years) of Old Time Radio. Over a thousand of hours-episodes of CBS Radio mystery hour, 350 or more episodes of Dragnet over 600 episodes of Gunsmoke.

100s of other OTR (Old Time Radio) Shows!!

Yes occasionally a show won’t load but it beats paying $1-$5 for individual shows or listening to Podcasts with annoying advertising. If I want to listen to Advertising the OTR Shows often include the original advertising.

This has been a favorite Old Time Radio app for years, but now with the latest iOS 13.1.2 update it DOES NOT WORK!! I’m so sad. The program opens fine, I can navigate through the categories and choose a program (that part seems normal), but when I open an episode for listening, the screen turns black and it just stops. Very frustrating!!

I hope the programmers can fix this ASAP!!! I sure miss it!! I am giving it one star but really should give it zero stars since it does not work at all. I will be happy to change this review and give it more stars when the update it to work with iOS 13.1.2.

I love the old radio programs and I’ve listened to the programs on this app for several years and never had a problem. Now I got a problem. You’ve changed things up a bit, the episodes individual screens. Says live streaming now and you can’t use your finger to FF or rewind by pressing on the line. But the worst is with this change I can’t play any program now without it skipping all over the place. Can’t get through half the episodes w/o them stopping altogether. Whatever you did, undo it please! It’s horrible!

Seems the latest iOS upgrades have been unkind to this great app! Read many recent reviews with the same concerns - many shows skip and skip and skip, FF/B button doesn’t work. All the shows worked fine on my iPhone 6 but not on my iPhone 7.
This is/was by far the BEST OTR app and a constant companion to so many of us. Giving it two stars since I love it so much and hope you’ll SOON find a way to restore it. Thx for your efforts!!

I’ve been trying to listen to shows on this app, but as others have noted, there is a skip problem on many shows. I’ve tried to keep listening, hoping that it will stop, but it just doesn’t work. Because the problem is clearly being ignored, I will delete this app. Too bad, because the shows are good. A little attention to this easily fixed problem could go a long way.
