Simple to the point
This app gives a simple, customizable workout plan, with a graphic to illustrate each exercise, and timer to set rest intervals.

I’ve tried a bunch of other vendor workout apps - most try to add too much and then cripple their app and charge ridiculous amounts to subscribe. In this case, simple is better.

I’d like if each set flowed into the rest/next exercise instead of making me click done after every set. An option to choose either time (like in the tabata app) or # reps for each exercise would be fantastic.

It doesn’t sync workout stats between iPhone and iPad for the same account if you jump between them. ...BUT now that I’m using it only on the iPhone, I’ve found that it syncs wonderfully with the Apple health stats, and even records the calories burned into the My Fitness Pal app. Forget iPad, and just use your phone.

In addition, it’s simple to jump between tabata, weight loss, dumbbell & bodybuilding to pick the workout I want.
Because of this, I’m changing my review to 5 stars.

The daily total body workouts are fairly short; but it’s easy to increase weight or reps, repeat a workout, or find another workout.
I use the Tabata app for a quick warm up before jumping to the dumbbell app for my main workout.

You can add your own custom exercises that’s worth the small one-time upgrade cost.

All in all, this provides a solid plan to follow for beginners rather than keeping a list on paper. Check out their related exercise apps too!

Easy Interface, Simple Display
This is a really good app that is simple to use and has a design that is very easy on the eyes. The workout editing is very intuitive—easy to follow. The mid-workout display provides a helpful animation to demonstrate how the exercise is executed. I’ve only just begun the full version, so I can’t speak to the stats feature yet. Optimistic though. The only suggestion would be to have an available blurb or description of the exercise in addition to the animation. Perhaps cautioning against common mistakes or tendencies that lessen the exercise’s effectiveness.

Update: Stats feature is great. But it made me realize that there are no ab exercises in the full body routine, and it can’t be edited. (Similar note: planks are not an available ab exercise in the Custom Workout builder.)
Incert name a cool name here,
This application is amazing
Been using this application for 5 months now. It makes lifting dumbbells really simple, by keeping track of your sets. I find that my brain gets annoyed of keeping track of where I’m at with sets and so on. Lifting and keeping track of what you’ve done and what to do next always seemed tedious to me. This application with my Powerblocks has been a great addition to my life

The only thing I would add is the ability to set individual rest times between exercises because some don’t require as much as others and I could trim down overall work out times. But that’s just nitpicking. This application is amazing

Respect and Blessings

Customizable, Easy App to Use
I use this app at home in lieu of going to the gym, especially with COVID going on at the moment. This app is super easy to use. It allows you to set the weight and reps and syncs with your iPhone Health app. It’s very important that you set the weight and reps PRIOR to conducting the workout. This app is definitely worth trying out!

That being said, I believe that there are some additional workouts that can be added, such as military press, oblique twists, and sit-ups. Another thing that I think would be awesome is to have an “information button” that would provide helpful information/checkpoints on each exercise so that people can ensure that they are using proper form. Just food for thought.

I Still Don’t Look Like the CGI Guy ......
A month in, and I still don’t look like the CGI guy in the exercise examples. What gives!?!? But to the credit of this App, Keto, and 16/8 Intermittent Fasting, I am 22 lbs down in a little over a month. The weight loss is mostly due to strict adherence to the diet, but the muscle tone and definition is due to doing the “Get Shredded” workout. I am still unable to do the pull up exercises, so I substitute these with additional dumbbell exercises that target the same muscles. I also do 30 minutes of cardio post weight lifting while I am still in a fat burning state from the workout. Overall, great app and easy to use. Highly recommend it if you have some Dumbbells and an adjustable bench.

Life changing for work from home
This app makes creating a routine so easy. For the basic exercises, all you need is a set of adjustable dumbbells and a flat bench. If you don’t have a bench, you can customize your own workouts using the available exercises and dial in exactly how much weight you want to lift, reps, and sets.

I have been following the total split, five days a week and sometimes adding a 6th workout. Completing Workouts at my lunch hour, it takes me between 25-45 minutes depending on how much of the rest time I choose to take in between reps/sets.

Very easy to follow - highly recommend.

Great app, except for a couple of things
Love this app, it’s great!
The only two things I’d change are: allow me to go back from a workout and then back into it. Like, I can’t view the settings in the middle of a workout without it making me restart a workout.
Second, I don’t like that when the app counts down or plays the ‘beeps’ for the timer, it dims out your music and then doesn’t bring it back. You have to exit the app and then go back in to have your music at normal volume again.

Other than those things it’s a great app. Love that for a small fee I can built my own workout, complete with sets and days. And then track my progress. Simple, easy, cheap.

One minor Improvement
Absolutely LOVE this app (especially the extra -though purchased- features). The only two features I believe would make this better is the ability to adjust the weight (like the reps) DURING the workout. I caught myself not making the weight I pre-set and I couldn’t remember what I set it to during the workout. This brings me to my next feature which would be to see a total record of what one did throughout the workout (I.e total reps and what weight the user set it at during each). These added features would be amazing to see.
Manu061022,
Very Good App but it can be made the Best
App is simple and has most usefull dumbbell exercise. However, I wish if the app developers consider adding the below mentioned excercises and a feature to make it best. Feature1. User should be able to move the excerise up or down to change the sequence especially in the custom workout. Currently i have to make the whole custom plan from scratch if i need to change the order ornadd excercise in between. Feature2. Should be able to skip an exercise while working out. Currently the user has to mark it done. Exercise1. Wrist curls, Wrist reverse curls Excercise2. Dumbbell side bend for Abs And a few more simple dumbbell excercise if you wish to. Thanks.
markrand07,
Works pretty well, with some unknowns
Offers plenty of dumbbell workouts with customization. Nice voice announcements if reps/weights. Simple interface with helpful animated diagrams of each exercise. After a couple weeks of using it, it’s hard to tell if the suggested weights for each exercise will stay the same until the user changes them, or if they will automatically increase to continue challenging the user. This is a feature in another strength training app that I enjoy, and since this app doesn’t ask for height/weight/gender or for user goals, it doesn’t have the info necessary to suggest weights or exercises. Would be a welcome update.
