It’s ok at best (when it works)
Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures. This app looks great but I wish I could get my money back. It was a big pain to get this app to find my mycloud, and when it did, it wasn’t any better than the free WD app. The interface was nice once you got to a movie folder and you get information in a pretty format but some movies would lose audio after playing a little while and crash my Apple TV. Then the app would completely lose my connection and I would need to start all over again.... I think this app could be cool if they would fix these issues... another bonus would be to give the user on screen volume control for the iPhone app.

Needs the ability to play iTunes purchased videos
Needs the added ability to play iTunes purchased movies so we can movie them off our internal storage on our iPads otherwise works great for none drm protected videos and could use picture in picture mode needs the ability to change meta data love it so far and needs meta data support so we can change the disciption and art work

Customer support nonexistent
First off they should have no stars. I have sent several emails about the app for Apple TV not working. I have been waiting for a response since May 17th and nothing. And all there other apps do not work. I had to get refunds frim Apple. They just take your money and when upgrades to Apple products happen, and the app breaks - they already have your money and have no incentive to fix the app, because you cannot get anyone. You cannot locate a proper telephone number for the company. If you do it does not work. Your are forced to email and no one responds.

Good interface needs a few tweaks
I bought this for my Apple TV to access my NAS and play video. The setup was easy and once logged in I can browse my folders and play videos easily. My only critique at this point, is that everything I turn on my Apple TV, I have to login to the app again. I understand security, however at least give me the option to retain my email address so I don’t have to type it again.

It really is that easy!!
With the WD MyCloud wireless hard-drive we were hoping to access family videos and photos from anywhere. As with most advertised features of apps, it was difficult to navigate and basically useless. Then we tried Easy MyCloud app and it worked perfectly! Especially with the new Apple TV 4K. Highly recommend!!

Great app for wd my cloud
This is an incredible app and I love it as it is an easy way to view stored content on Apple TV. The only wish I had was that I’d like to be able to customize the views and sorting. As of right now there is no way to shrink the initial view from thumbnails to a details view like most media players and there is no way to sort from A to Z. It o Ly sorts by date. Otherwise this is a great app.

Worth a Cup of Coffee
The native WD My Cloud is terrible so i was hoping EasyCloud would be better. As with all of the programs I've tried there are hits and misses. It does play more formats and has a nicer UI. The Meta data doesn’t have an ability to correct wrong info, so you will be presented with meta for the wrong movie. It will still play but it just seems wrong. Overall not good but i didn’t feel ripped off.

WD PR4100 Support - Yes it does
The app works well with this NAS. The app appears to be in the infant stage. The app is in a dire need of a search function for Apple TV to search through your media. As of this version you must scroll from beginning to end of your media files to find something you’re looking for. The app does not support 5.1 audio in video. I believe as this app matures will become very popular.

Remote access?
In the description, it states that content can be accessed remotely and locally. Locally it works great. Away from home, all I get is a message saying it cannot connect to computer. I don’t see a way to adjust any setting, and with the original My Cloud App I can access my files remotely. Please let me know if this can be taken care of, and I’ll fix my rating!

Worst app
Am having WD cloud and bought this app for my iPhone access. Below are the drawbacks which I found
- zooming in and out is not user friendly. Double tap on the image will enlarge it to 500%. And no zoom in option if you tap it again.
- thumbnails of the image is not present. If you have a galore of image then you are gone.
- sharing the photos. This is where I totally fed up with this crap. When I try to save to phone the app is getting closed automatically. So I tried to share in what’s app and nothing happened. Today in the world sharing should be efficient. This one should be addressed as this app has 4 years of history in the App Store.
I don’t recommend this app if you are looking for the above options.
