Medical App Editor's Review:
Here is a rich collection of real 12-lead ECG cases you can use to develop your interpretation skills. Each case is identified with a brief description (e.g., "Male 73 y/o, HR 158; Ectopic arrhythmia - atrial tachycardia with intraventricular aberrant conduction..."). Select a case and you can choose either Play mode, which shows you the ECG telemetry as you'd see it on a monitor in real-time, with beeps for heartbeats, or Read mode, which gives you the printed ECG tracing to interpret. You can choose cases by category or search for them by name. You can also bookmark cases and return to them later.

For students and practitioners who wish to strengthen their ECG-reading capabilities, this app would seem justified, because ECG Cases gives you an effective way to immerse yourself in a wide range of ECG patterns and interact with them as if these were your own patients.

Customer Reviews:
"I'm reviewing the app with my father who happens to be a specialist in internal medicine, and we're astonished by this app's capability in helping students like myself understand EKG waves. It's not easy but with the help of this app EKG makes more sense to me."

"This is a great App that exemplifies and provides easy training for medical professionals. It is a tool that anyone working in the medical industry should possess."

"Great app for keeping your skills sharp and seeing a wide variety of cases"

ECG Pro provides:

1) 3500+ abnormal real world 12 lead ECG cases in raw data (In-App-Purchase needed for advanced ones)
2) Each case has professional interpretation and measurement
3) They cover 100+ common ECG findings

[Features]
1) Browse ECG cases by findings like "Atrial Flutter", "Escape Rhythm" and more
2) Search for whatever you want to learn, like "Flat T wave"
3) Dynamically play each case in monitoring mode (with beeping sound)
4) Display leads in 12 x 1, 6 x 2, 4 x 3 layout
5) Each case has 12 template views with P / QRS / T waves identified

Does this app support family sharing?
Does this app support family sharing? So if I buy the 15 dollar in app purchase will the people in my iCloud family be able to use it with out having to spend money on there phone?
_______ _______,
Fix the lead configuration!
Clinicians are used to looking at leads in a standard configuration where we come to recognize patterns of lead combinations representing various territories. This program would great if not flawed by presenting the leads in a non standard order. This makes it annoying to use. I'll wait to make good use of it when this is fixed. Until then I'll keep looking for a better program.

UPDATE: it looks like efforts to permit 3x4 display have been implemented but when exporting the ecg it reverts to the non-standard format. Getting better! Added a star!
Samurai888,
new HRV is amazing
Update- HRV has been included and poincare plot as a bonus, there’s no other app that takes the RR data from the Apple Watch ECG directly to do this, all while fully showing all the data used. Excellent development of this app!!

Couldn’t have anything better
I am currently in a ekg class and this has been a lifesaver, it helps you get such a better understanding of the rhythms and helps pinpoint what you need to look for so glad I stumbled upon this
gretajane,
Where is the Apple Watch function
The Apple Watch function disappeared from the top of my list. Where did it go? I use this function all the time.

This app is great. I’m just an EMT, but I learned to read ECGs with this app so I could diagnose my own heart issue. I correctly figured out I had AVNRT and got it ablated Friday.
boaz999,
ECG setup
Program doesn’t run. I get msg during setup that I have to have an acct with Verizon. My carrier is T-Mobile who subcontracts with Verizon. Also app feedback doesn’t send msg to support for resolution. Is problem that I need pro version of app to take ecg?

What happened?
This was a very good and informative app, but some update at some point I. Time made it a waste of my money. I used this app for the in depth explanations and a pretty extensive selection of ECGs. Now it’s basically cases which I can’t see how anyone would prefer that over the explanations. I realize that there are the occasional explanation here and there, but it is not the same. I have deleted the app and have considered my money wasted. Not a good thing coming from a cardiac surgery ICU nurse.

A few changes I would like to see
This is a very informative app. However, I wish the graphics in the EKG over view section were less pixilated. In addition you can’t zoom in. It would also be nice to have a little scroll bar so you can see where you are in that long section. Great app!
necklacebabe,
Not for me
Whole this is a very good Diagnostic aid for a professional, I am not a professional. But someone who wants to learn about my own ECGs. I want to cancel my subscription for the pro but can't seem to do that.
Cablair25,
Don’t pay for this
I’m not a smart man... but I do know some things.. and one of the things I knows is it’s not how you stand by ya car, it’s how you race ya car... I also know some deez answers on the quizzes are wrong... and no explanation to explain their wrongness makes it even worse. Sad I paid money for pro don’t do it. Just for example is rhythm at 75 bpm p waves with every QRS and narrow they called it idoventricular? Ima delete this don’t waste your time.
