Christy Drew,
Great App, but I can’t clear all of the alerts
I love this app! It alerts me immediately when I have a message or instructions, but... since I’ve had the app I cannot cleat all of the alerts and it drives me BONKERS! It always says I have 2 alerts (update referral source and complete my partner’s profile). I have completed the task literally 25 times on my desktop and on the app, but I cannot get anything to work. Other than that, this app allows you to check your labs as soon as they come in, check your levels, read messages and review instructions without being in front of a computer - which is extremely convenient. This app is perfect for the impatient and expecting mom to be that is nervous and excited, but cannot stop what she’s doing to get online and check on things every few minutes. If I could get rid of those 2 task alerts, I would def. give this app 5 stars.

I’d rather not have an app than use this
Clunky is an understatement. I constantly get text messages to go and view things in the portal, which would be great, if I could actually found those things. I was told I had an invoice ready to be paid and literally clicked every single clickable area of the site and can’t find it. Messages are awful. What’s really crazy is the office staff knows how bad the app is Mr aren’t able to offer any guidance on where things might be. No way to reply to messages. You have to start a new message and ensure you keep up with who you are responding to. Every message comes from a different person. I have no clue who these people are. I try not to leave bad reviews, but the nerve of the app to constantly hound me and ask me to review it. Here you go, one star, do not recommend. Very poor experience. Why default to constantly update insurance info? How often does the average person switch insurance? Surely not on a daily basis. The view of my Lab results was pretty useless. Would be helpful to include standard ranges next to values. Pretty sure the average person doesn’t have all standard values of the bazillion tests they run memorized. Oh and you cant save your password or use Face ID. You literally have to type your password in every time, and it it times out pretty quick. Nice people at the office. Horrible app experience.

Clunky
This app is clunky in many ways. I hate that I can’t reply to messages. I can create a new message but then I don’t have the string of messages all in one place to easily reference. Also, even after I have looked at new lab results or read messages, it still shows that I have notifications. This is frustrating because I can’t turn off the notification in settings without missing important information from my doctor. I can’t even go from one lab result or message to another, even though there’s an arrow at the top of the screen indicating that I should be able to. It just gives an error so I have to open each one individually, try to remember which one I just looked at, click the next one, etc. This is particularly difficult given this is used by fertility clinics and there are several tests that are run at one time. It doesn’t have Face ID so I have to put in my password every time. It continuously said I need to update my referral but even when I click on it and save, the notification is still there. Overall, the app is clunky and has been for years. It needs significant improvements.

Portal app
I think the concept of this application is spot on. However, I think there are a very bugs that could be worked out. My biggest pet peeve with this is the message page. Having to recreate a new message every time I want to respond is irritating and time wasting. I would be nice to be able to respond to the same thread. It also helps in keeping the conversation flowing smoothly. The home page tells me I have tasks to complete even if I’ve already completed them. The notification takes a long time to go away. I’ve noticed it seems like when an appointment is added to the calendar the notification will stay until the appointment day has passed. Instead maybe have the option to snooze the notification until a day or two before the appointment. It does give the option to add the appointment to the calendar, but when it is clicked on it closes the app and never is able to reach the calendar app. Such a good tool to use, just needs a little UI TLC.

In theory good but has a lot to work on...
First of all, it is ridiculous that you cannot respond to messages like you would an email. To thank someone for doing something for me, I need to compose an entirely new email, which is so old fashioned and also annoying when trying to piece threads of conversation together.
Printing PDF instructions isn’t very clear, it took me a couple of tries to see that I needed “hover” over the pdf to find a print option.
It is also annoying that even though documents have been signed and seen to, there is no way for me to mark them as “read” or “already seen” or “dealt with” and it therefore reminds you of the same ones in the number count on the widget, despite them not being new matters that I need to attend to.
Otherwise, app is ok. SMS notifications are useful but that’s about it. I have used other Medical Portals that are much more up-to-date and in line with today’s fast-paced world!
Cehugyt,
Great app, but 1 annoying issue
This app has some great features (like being able to view all of your past tests and results, upcoming appointments & confirming via the app, messaging with the staff and the portal) however the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that it always gives you notifications that can’t be cleared in the app for updating your referral source (which wouldn’t ever change) and then for your partners profile (until they go in for their test). And then when that’s done the “update referral source” notification stays as well as any true notifications you have. I had 9 notifications since my last appointment that won’t clear.
carirae,
Pretty awful app
Unfortunately, I am forced to use this app in order to receive some documents and communication with my reproductive clinic. This app is really frustrating, messy, and not intuitive. It constantly shows I have notifications but I cannot figure out what it’s notifying me about. It will show that I have 5 notifications, but I go in and only see 2 new items. It will say I have an “unconfirmed” appointment, but every appointment shows as being confirmed. It asks me to update my referral source….I have tried multiple ways to do this, but it never clears it as “completed.” I’m not sure if it’s the app or my clinic, but nurses can send me messages, but I cannot reply. I have asked the nurses about this and they kind of throw their hands up and say, “yeah, patients can’t reply back to us.” I have used other apps like this with other doctors’ offices and have never found them to be difficult to use. I really hate this app, but am forced to use it.

works for what it is
My doctors office uses this app and because they do, now so do i. Every single time I open the app Ive been “reminded” to review it and since I can’t get the message to go away I’ll review it (maybe that will help). I mostly use the app to message my doctors office. This feature is fine but could be more user friendly. More than once I’ve written a
note but forgot to add info in the “to” field before submitting and the message vanished. Drafts would be nice. The app keeps alerting me to update a referral source or fill out my user profile, even though I’ve done that several times and would just like to turn that notification off.
On a positive note it records all history of
medications, which makes tracking and reordering easy. Overall a decent and helpful app but developers could make changes to enhance usability, design, and functionality.

So many bugs and not user friendly
The idea of this app is great. I like getting updates on my phone. But it has way too many bugs and is not user friendly at all. It’s constantly crashing. Shows me someone else’s login name every time I log in. And on that note, why do I have to renter my password every single time? My iPhone won’t even acknowledge that it’s a password setting to save it in my auto fill password and you can’t use face recognition to login. Update please. Getting to the labs and other folders icons is clunky and not user friendly. On the “home screen” you actually have to hit the home button to go to another screen for the carousel of other folders. It’s just clunky and not user friendly. Needs work. Seems the engineers need to run better test groups and take feedback from people that are actually using this app of the daily. I use it. But it’s a pain in the neck.
PodAficionado12,
Missing some obvious features
Really like having easy access to my medical team, but it’s so frustrating that I cannot reply to messages. My doctors will ask me questions and I have to remember who messages me and go out and start a whole new thread with the team rather than replying.
I saw on another review and also find it frustrating that an alert number remains for no apparent reason. I think it’s because I have an upcoming appointment, but even after confirming that I have the red dot which creates a lot of extra opening of the app when I go in to make sure I haven’t missed anything.
I also really wish there was a way to save the password or use face recognition because even my iPhone password keeper won’t work to auto fill.
