I bought this app because I use a Blackmagic Mini panel at work that I absolutely love but I can’t justify the $3,000 cost to buy my own to have at home for my personal projects.
The setup for this app was frustrating because they don’t have great instructions, but I eventually figured it out. My biggest gripe with this app is that it needs to be updated for new iPads to remove the black bars on the sides. Also, the Kb page has to be used with the Bt page, which means you end up swiping between the pages a lot and it is kind of clunky.
I have a $20 drawing stand for my iPad and I definitely recommend picking up one if you use this app a lot since it puts your iPad at a better angle to use this app on a desk.
This is a really solid app to turn your iPad into a color panel for $10 and I like it. I haven’t purchased a Tangent Ripple panel yet but this app is supposed to work with it to extend its functionality which sounds awesome.
