The app promises to be a good tool for aspiring memers, a good outlet for creative expression (through memes, obviously), and to have a usable UI, and it delivers well in these aspects. (It also has a very nice community, but that's just a nice plus.) Perhaps my only complaint are that the video templates have these really vauge names, which can be a headache to find when you don't remember exactly what it's called. For example, one day I was looking for a video of a Key and Peele (?) skit where Obama shakes hands with white people and hugs it out with his fellow African Americans (yes, it's that specific). I thought just searching "Obama" would be enough to pull it up, but apparently the Elsewhere team thought it would be better to name it "Real recognize real." I did manage to find it after trudging through the vast library of videos, but nonetheless I think the titles of clips should henceforth be straight to the point. But beyond this one thing, it's a great app that does what it should.

The concept and usage of this app is very good for new people looking to make memes and save stuff. The tools are helpful and easy to understand. Although there is a small issue with finding certain templates, that’s not what I’m looking to address. For the experienced however, there’s a serious flaw that you’ve heard time and time again. We can’t edit our own videos, which is a big problem. One day, someone new to editing is going to want to take it a step further and edit their own clip with this helpful app, however we are bound to the default templates. Most of us are well aware that you accept “video links” that may or may not be approved of but it would be way less stressful if you just allowed us creators to use our own. As I see it, this is probably the main barrier that is stopping this apps growth. Please fix this. If you can’t fix it, find a better solution other than submitting video links

I got this app a few days ago and been having fun making memes for Instagram. Lots of funny templates and more are added all the time it seems. The only issue I have now is the app will not do its job. By this I mean it keeps crashing. Every time I open it, it crashes. Then when it finally opens and I got to a video, it crashes. Then when I finally get to a video and I try and edit it, it crashes. This is making it unusable and I have already tried reinstalling and the whole rigamarole when someone runs into this problem. Please fix this and I will change my rating because I truly do love the idea of this app.

As the title states, this app is perfection when it comes to making memes. The app is nicely built and works great so that meme experts and meme newbies alike can make great memes. Apart from some minor lag when scrolling and selecting a meme to edit and the kind of abundant looking color background for text, this app is virtually perfect. I personally used the app when it first came out and made a meme with it that got recognized by one of big meme pages that I followed! For these reasons, I suggest that anyone looking to make memes comes here and downloads the Elsewhere App.

I very much enjoy memes, and making funny ideas come to life. This is just what elsewhere does! I have used elsewhere for months now and I enjoy making little videos and sharing them with friends. I found elsewhere on instagram and really enjoyed the concept of there app and downloaded it almost immediately. I was not disappointed! I enjoy using this app a lot and am glad I have it. I really suggest this app for anyone considering getting it. Thanks elsewhere team!

Hello, I would like to say this app is the best meme editors but I would like a change in where you can upload your own videos and I saw your other replies saying your team has to edit them a way but maybe there could be a button where u can send videos and you guys accept or decline them. Also I think instead of the save button there should be a option to put the videos into a vault sort of thing. Like a section on the app where you can store the memes you made because I made two amazing memes of the same video but I could only save one and it frustrates me still.

I have been using this app for about a week now and I can confidently say it is the best app to make video memes on. This app provides you with a library of popular and random videos where you can put text over and come up with some pretty funny content. The design and layout is user friendly and I have yet to have a single app crash or any problems using this. Its also great to see the Elsewhere team is very active on social media.

The app is a simple tool, and it looks to fun to use, but the things it mentions are so inappropriate! For example, as soon as I open it up, the “s word” is right there on the loading screen. And the titles of some of the videos have bad words in them too. Not only that, they make really inappropriate jokes with some of the examples of how the meme is used. In one it talks about sneaking vaping devices, and there are others I’ve seen that are worse. I just couldn’t stand it! 😖
I know the app is directed at teens, but not everyone wants to hear about that stuff all of the time. I wouldn’t suggest the app to anyone for that reason 😢

This app is actually really rad! All you just need to do is write your own set of text and wait a few minutes while it inputs into the video, it’s way much easier than doing it on Sony Vegas ^^
I’m really glad you guys have a bunch of premade videos already from clips of movies to random videos, I appreciate it! But also I would suggest for you guys to add a feature where you can add your own videos!

This app is one of the best meme apps out there. While it’s true that you can’t upload your own clips, you honestly don’t need to. There are plenty clips on there, especially from popular memes now. Tracking is great and it’s easy to edit. It takes maybe 5 minutes max to make a video. Awesome app, I was finally able to start making video memes for my meme page with this :)
