The Early Learning Ventures Parent application is used by the parents of child care providers that are members of the Early Learning Ventures childcare alliance. This parent application allows parent(s)/guardian(s) to:
- Approve Attendance
- Receive alerts for Immunizations, Medical Evaluations, etc.
- Receive/Read Provider to Parent messages
- Report a child as absent
- Request/Receive reporting

The Parent app was modified to accept temporary security codes from parents, which will take parents to a new page that allows the parent to enter a new permanent security code that only they know. The Parent app was also changed to notify parents when a newer version of the application is available on the app store. This is done to ensure that parents are not running obsolete software, than may be out of sync with the back-office system.

The ELV Parent app now allows parents to check children in or out from their mobile device. To do this the parent selects Child Check In/Out on the parent mobile app, scans the QR Code displayed by the Kiosk, and when scanned successfully the Parent app will display the Child Check In/Out page.

App updates don’t show up
My app recently stopped working, and in investigating I just noticed that the update doesn’t automatically show up in my App Store like all my other apps. Is there a setting the developer needs to make so users like me can have updates show up in the updates Apps area?

App is always logged out!
I have to log into the app every time I open it. I use the app, come back one minute later and it’s logged out. How am I supposed to get real time notifications of messages from the daycare that may be urgent when it’s always logged out? It’s a waste of my time to login and then check in/out on the kiosk. Busy parents dropping their child off in the morning don’t have extra time to spare. Please fix this. I’ve been forced to use this app for two days and I’m already super annoyed. And I missed a message ALL day yesterday because the app was logged out and I finally saw it when I had to login to checkout my child end of day.
