--WHY EMPATI WORKS
Empati is a community dedicated to motivating each other through kindness.
It was inspired by a moment when I was on the subway minding my own business. An elderly man stepped in, looked at my face, and said "You have a positive vibe, keep it up." Our mission is to increase these altruistically inspired experiences that impact our lives.
The messages you get are powerful because they are sent by anonymous empatists that are going through similar experiences on topics ranging from mindfulness to working out.
If you are into psychological research... Normative social influences motivate you as you receive messages, and self-affirmations help you become your ideal self as you send them.

Dark Mode!!!
This app definitely needs a dark mode at some point. Love the content!!! Cant wait for updates.

POSSIBLE SCAM
I was so excited about this app! When I downloaded it 4 months ago, I was immediately asked for my e-mail address to be put on a “wait list” to join. NEVER got a “wait list” confirmation or any other communication from the app. Contacted developer to ask how long this “wait list” was and received an apology 🙄and a promise to put me and any of my friends (as long as I provided their e-mail) on a “priority wait list.” Was told they didn’t “have enough time and resources to accept another batch of Empaths at this time.” Never got a straight answer as to how long this “wait list” is.
The fact I never received a “wait list” confirmation or any other communications, the fact that they immediately wanted my e-mail address and those of my friends and the fact that there’s only 12 reviews on an app supposedly so popular it requires that “wait list” is sketchy enough that I’m reporting it to Apple.
This may be entirely coincidence and I’m in no way connecting it to this app but shortly after signing up on their “wait list’ I began to receive extortion e-mails from a scammer.
