Ineffective
The app got a lot wrong about my essay, and it’s corrections just didn’t make sense. Here are some examples:

Told me my essay was generic for being about a service trip or volunteering. My essay was about my parents and our conflict. It also told me I was being immature by using the word “love” in the sentence “I love my parents”, and said I was bragging too much because I used the word “managed”. The sentence was, “I managed to convince my mom to enroll me in a game development course”. I did not manage a team or anything. I was not bragging. And who says “I like my parents”?

Humans are better
Feedback is often nonsensical with conflicting opinions, for example telling me an essay needs to use emotion better but also telling me the use of emotion is great. App is a great idea, but not executed well.

Nonsense
Most of the corrections it tried to do for mine were improper grammar or just strings of words that did not make sense, you’re better off just asking your English teacher to read over it.
