This app is my new to go to!!
If your like me & into dancing & being able to record this is the app for you! I am a Dancer & social media user & it can be hard trying to keep up with the new dances, the dancers move so fast and you have to watch the same video over and over again. Well ever dance is different it is teaching you the dances as you record, also it has features that help you track the amount of calories burn per each dance how lovely is that? Also they have choreographers that can teach you how to move. Like what app do you know that teaches you the dance with a choreographer? Well this one does so download it you won’t regret it!!

Worst app ever ! they’re just trying to rob you.
If I could I would give them 0 stars. Had the app for less than 2 hours before I wanted a refund. Didn’t know how to get a refund so I contacted them about it. 7 messages later they still wouldn’t give me any info about how to get a refund just kept telling me I was wrong. Them when I did my extensive research on how to get the refund I had to go through my Apple ID and request it so I message them back and told them I figured it out. Then they responded with “our team is really offended that you called us liars without having a good reason” ummm excuse me ?? But I contacted you for a refund. You could’ve sent me the link or instructions go get the refund but instead you tried to tell me I was wrong and give me a “better” deal. oh and the whole reason I called them liars was because I track activity on my phone so I tried to log in with a different phone so I could watch the videos but still track my activity. I used the same login yet they took my subscription away. Then I went to go look at the video I wanted to do and it had a major difference in how many calories I’d burn. They said i put different weights when i signed up on both phones BUT HOW ?? when I logged into the SAME account and it never asked me for my weight on the second phone. THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS APP.

Misleading
Love the idea, but don’t like the current state, might check back in 6 months. I installed and went through the onboarding, it said to select all styles I was interested in but I could only select 4 and there doesn’t seem to be a good reason why. I also couldn’t see anything in the app without subscribing first. I like that there’s a lifetime pass with a reasonable price, but once I was in the app I saw why. Browsing the content by style, most categories don’t even have enough lessons to be able to scroll through them, there are very very few instructors or lessons to choose from. The controls for a video are very good, but that’s irrelevant when I can’t choose from much and most styles aren’t fleshed out with moves of a range of difficulties. I also hate that there’s a lot of hip hop lessons but hardly any made by non-white dancers, I don’t want to learn white washed hip hop, that’s embarrassing. I also don’t like that you can’t bookmark or save a lesson to come back to later, and I tried to hit the share button to see if that had a save option but it just gave an infinite spinner and I had to quit out. I asked for a refund because I’m not confident this app will still be around in six months, but if it is and it’s got more content, I’ll probably check it out again.

Disappointed but hopeful
Based on the advertising and the quality of the video in the advertising I was really expecting higher quality videos from the teachers. I also don’t understand why I completed my first lesson however it doesn’t register because I chose not to record it. Why do I have to record the sessions in order for it to show as being completed? I don’t like to dance in a whole lot of clothing and certainly don’t want those images and videos out in public. I also dance at night and in my home and would prefer not to have my home or anything publicized. This is a great concept and I support the dance community, I also like that there are different types of dances and inclusive and diverse instructors. It is a very big miss that the instructors are not required to have a certain lighting and sound quality, and it is a miss that the image does not actually mirror, nor can you cast it to a larger screen.

Really want to like this app
First, i think that this is a great concept, and it just seems to still be in the early stages. I wish there had been an option to tour the app in some way before purchasing. If I had known that the classes were almost all 5-10 minutes long, or that a lot of them were just videos of an instructor dancing without actual instruction, I would not have invested money at this point. Personally, I was looking for an app that would offer full length workouts that would also help me learn new dance moves within those workouts, organized in a way that could help me build skills over time. What I’ve found instead have been short videos with fast-paced stacking of choreography and no chance to really get into a flow with it. If you’re looking for short choreography-focused workouts then this could be a better fit for you!

I can dance my way to health
As a curvy woman, finding the right physical activity can be a struggle. Many workouts are designed for people with different body types or fitness levels, and it can be discouraging to feel like I don't belong. After a couple of weeks with this dance app I feel empowered and confident. The personalized plan takes into account my unique needs and goals, and the supportive community encourages me every step of the way. I really hope that dancing will soon become my permanent useful habit.

Ok but needs work
I have tried many fitness apps over the last two years and what strikes me about this is that 1) you cannot mirror onto another screen like my tv or computer using my apple devices. I found a workaround but it’s horizontal and still a very limited frame; 2) the recordings are low quality in general. The instructors record in homes or outside or small spaces, with few exceptions, which means sound is mediocre and the video itself isn’t great. I’ll keep watching because I like that it is an inclusive bunch of instructors and short clips. But it does need work to be able to compete with similar concept apps. Also, I keep getting a notice that my app needs updating, but it doesn’t seem to actually update. This is very confusing.

Easy & fun
I downloaded this app months ago with the intention to workout via dance, as well as learn new dances. Well, I got intimidated and lazy…but when I decided to finally make use of it, I learned what all I’ve been missing! This app is great! I don’t feel lost in the videos, because everything is clearly taught and “take it at your own pace”. Different levels of “expertise”. And multiple instructors to choose from. I’m excited to keep exploring the app and seeing what I can learn next!

Meh
I was excited to give this a try. However, I was expecting more full workout options, but seems to be mostly short sessions. The first workout I did was fun and cute, but the rest had poor video quality, too slow and subpar cueing from the instructor. I did one workout that was so slow and the instructor’s half time movements were off beat and even at tempo still didn’t match the music. I think it was just poorly choreographed. I tried another class and she just did neck rolls for the first 10 mins it seemed. Also, not a fan of the TV casting set up. I am not knocking it, as it is a good concept, but just not for me. I will stick with apple fitness.

A dancer's take - quit trippin' over the subscription fee
I don't get why people are so bent outta shape over the subscription fee. y'all really think that the app creators and dancers should work for free? Rent out a studio, hire a camera crew to create a new dance class for y'all? Do you wanna work for free? Then why you expectin' others to do so? Plus, Everdance is already killin' it - they gave us dancers a chance to make money online, there's no annoying ads in their app, and there's plenty of free classes.
