Extempore allows foreign language instructors and students to exchange video and audio assignments without having to schedule 1:1 interviews or take class time. Slow and broken
This app serves serves little purpose. It could be easily replaced by recordings or typed responses. It is also unusably slow, and the mobile app on iPhone X and above has elements of the app cut off at the top. On the website, even while using multiple wifi networks and devices, I was experiencing all of the problems listed above as well as missing question answer choices, and an error message that simply said Error - object object

Great Platform for Language Educators
I’ve been using this app for the last year and I cannot be more happy with the platform and the support team at Extempore. They’ve made it easy for students to practice their speaking skills and make it easy for instructors to provide feedback. They continue to listen to their users and improve their product for the needs of their customers. Extempore is unlike any other tool out there and I have enjoyed using their platform and working with their team.

The Spontaneous Responses I’ve Been Looking For!
As a teacher, I was thrilled to find Extempore as it’s always been challenging to get spontaneous responses from my students. The option for timed review/response times coupled with the inability to copy/paste from Google translate has me hooked!!
