Aditya Sivakumar,
Very clear fractal imaging but zooming could be slightly better
I overall love this app. I am amazed at how detailed and clear the images of the Mandelbrot set are. I also love how for each point on the Mandelbrot set, the corresponding Julia set can be accessed also simply by a double tap.

However, I do have a suggestion for improvement, relating to zooming. Overall, the zooming feature is very convenient, except that sometimes I want to zoom far inside the Mandelbrot set to one specific spot, but then the zooming hits a “dead end”.

I know that of course that no software can zoom truly indefinitely, but perhaps there can be a “maximum zoom” option in the settings, where one can set the maximum magnification factor by which one can zoom into the Mandelbrot or Julia sets. If the developer could add such an option to the settings, then that would make the exploration of these fractals even more interesting.

Zooming Physics
Absolutely excellent app, but the one thing I would like is a zoom that doesn't freeze the second you take your hand off the screen.

Everything else you can see is in the other reviews.
Just Your Usual Reviewer,
That other guy wasn't kidding about the useless zoom
You can zoom a few times and then it just hits a hard stop and refuses to zoom further or render additional detail. Fractal explorers are fun for hours when you can keep going and going and get into weird edge detail, and this app has neither of those things. It only offers a Mandelbrot set, which despite being my favorite is still only one of the many fun fractal explorations. It's no faster than Fractint was back in the 486 days despite the author's claims above. To add insult to injury it pops up an annoying ad every time you open it. This app was deleted within 2 minutes, as I'd seen all it had to offer, and it wasn't much.
Pacati,
Can zoom in endlessly
The reviewers for the app who are saying you can only zoom in so far before the iterations stop forgot to look in the settings. You can control the number of iterations, the zoom and much more. It just slows down the rendering, as you'd expect.

Also worth noting, for those of us with large tablets, the screenshots are misleading; the app DOES provide landscape view (aka widescreen).
xTexLutz,
Love it! Neat little app
I grew up programming fractals in the 80s on my Atari ST, took around half and hour per render what you can do on iPhone in real time.
Thanks Tom (Kerrigan) for Programming this.
Quick wish, if it so moved you to implement this: once at max zoom level, allow a button press to automatically “fly out” eg auto-zoom out. That be nice.
Anyway. Really love it.

BEST MANDELBROT SET ON THE IOS APPSTORE
I have always been curious about the Mandelbrot. I have had many apps that work good but don’t ever allow you to zoom by pinching. It projects a very clear image and allows you to zoom very far into the fractal. So this definitely deserves a 5 star rating.
Patrick6367,
Awesome real-time mandlebrot
Just pinch and zoom and explore in real-time. Amazing! One request , add a button to start where you are and slowly zoom back out. Extra points if you include a slider for speed. Add add bookmarks so you can zoom from start to book mark and back. Then charge a dollar! Lol great app!
An Angry Composer,
More useful than I thought
By default, the app sacrifices some of the finer intricacies for extremely fast rendering. However, you can increase the number of iterations in the advanced settings, making it far more useful.

Fast & Responsive
Having written several Mandelbrot programs, I am blown away by the speed and responsiveness of this one. You can go deeper by increasing the iteration count on the Advanced menu.
