Doesn’t work - problems
Agree with other reviewer.

Downloaded last night, in putted period start. Correctly had me in Manifestation. I should be in the 4 day Power Phase today. But it’s showing Nurture phase.

Like the concept but the apps utility seems extremely limited.

—wish there was an easy, clear calendar to track and log fasting hours or to select desired fast length and input time of last calorie intake and have it start a timer for you. Then you could see your fasting history over time.
—combine period tracking with fasting tracking. Cycle lengths. Visibility into how your cycle might adjust in parallel to fasting regimen.
—envision the best period tracker combined with best fasting tracker.
—design is pretty, but static and clunky

Pro—finally someone who gets appetite related to hormone cycles. No period tracker gets that! They make it all about tracking cravings (the whole pms cliché of just wanting sweets and carbs and sitting on the couch—drives me crazy).

Whats real for me (and many other ladies I’ve talked to) is a surge in *hunger* at ovulation and at the week before my period starts. I call it the bottomless pit syndrome. I have no desire for the “bag of potato chips” — I still eat my typical foods, but I am hungry almost immediately after eating and can’t get satiated. No one talks about this except for on random Reddit threads.

Excited to see this app recognizes that phenomenon but the execution isn’t there yet.

Stuck in Nurture Phase
I want to love this app (and I will say Dr Pelz is amazing and I am so grateful for her life-changing work), but the app just doesn’t work. It had me in days 16-19 power phase for 1 day and then went to Nurture Phase for the past 13 days. This has happened to me several other times. I’m deleting it, because it confuses me as to where I actually am. I’m feeling a little frustrated about information for how to track when you don’t have a cycle as well. I am on an IUD and have maybe 2 days of a little spotting. I haven’t found the answers- am I out of the Nurture phase when I stop bleeding? How do you tell? Really wish the app could be relied on.

So disappointing! Could be great, instead it’s useless :(
So the first 10 days went fine, despite the very limited scope of the app (It would be very nice to have this be designed like any one of the many, many diet trackers, so one could track food, weight, fasting and have guidance around there personal cycle. However I would just settle for it to actually do the one thing it’s supposed to do - tell me what phase I’m in! After day 10 it simply stayed there. It has not changed. So I guess I will be deleting it and hoping that maybe in the future someone actually gives this app the attention it deserves. I find this really disappointing since it seems like a lot of marketing went into her book that could’ve gone into actually helping women follow the books directions with a companion app in a really supportive way. Like part of this app is so disappointing because it really does have so much potential and it can’t even do the one thing it’s programmed to do.

Confused
I just started listening to mindy pelz and I love what she is saying. I’ve been struggling with menstruation pain for a long time and the doctors are not helpful they recommend a hysterectomy. I really like this app because it’s easy to use simple direct and helps me understand from day to day what I can be doing found in one place. But it took me from day 15 to day 20 in one day and I’m not sure how to bring it back to where I am. Please trouble shoot because I want to utilize this tool in my fasting lifestyle journey!! Thank you so much for Al the research and information you share!

I love the concept it just does not work correctly
I love the concept and it worked great for the first few weeks and then it didn’t . It puts me in a different phase like five days too early. I should be at the beginning of my power phase 2 on today which is the 16th day, and it already has me in the nurture phase. It’s not that big a deal because I keep up with my cycle via the calendar and I put my faces in my phone so that I can fast accordingly and if I didn’t know I wouldn’t know… Please fix it because I so want it to work correctly because all the tips and tricks that you offer on here are absolutely amazing

2nd crash in under a month
I started using this app just after day one of my cycle. It just crashed for the second time…and I haven’t even finished my cycle!

After the first crash, I had to delete and reinstall the app. There is no feature to back data up, so my tracking was lost.

The app just crashed a second time when I went to open it. I’ll see if it corrects in the morning, but if not, I’m going to have to stop using it, at least for tracking. It may ultimately only be good for reminding me if I should be doing Ketobiotic or hormone feasting, but I can just track that on my calendar. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good concept bad execution
While it shows you your current phase it doesn’t show which day you are at in that range. For example if you are in the manifest are phase ( day 11 through 15) it doesn’t show which day in that phase you are on. If I want to do a 24 hour fast on day 16 I don’t have a way to prepare without using my own separate tracking calendar which really defeats the purpose of this one. It’s extremely basic and not very helpful which is a shame. There is a lot of good information in the book and a working, cohesive app would be a helpful way to reference it all.

A more user UNfriendly app there never was.
I don’t know what the exact purpose of this app as, but it’s stuck on one cycle page…the manifestation cycle…and I can’t change the day or do ANYTHING useful with it. I loved the book Fast Like a Girl and I’ve heard Dr. Pelz talk up this app like it’s amazing. Not. It’s horrible y’all. Don’t even bother with it. I found another one called Simple that is working better for tracking my fasting. Dr. Pelz has missed the boat on this one. In fact if it worked and I could actually adjust and track my daily fasts with it according to cycle, I’d plunk down money for it. As is, this thing is useless and it kinda makes Dr. Pelz seem disingenuous.

Has so much potential, but for now, the APP doesn’t let you adjust your cycle!
I love the intuitive nature of this app, however, once you download the app, and put in the first day of your last period, you’re lock in and can’t adjust it! It is telling me I’m still in power phase (days 1-10) even though I’m on day 13 of my cycle. Therefore, the information is useless unless I redownload the app and try to adjust it!

Come on tech team, let’s get this right, as Mindy’s work is incredible and the app could really help women stay on track without having to resort to the book or one’s own Audible notes (as I’m now having to do).

Great potential - needs work
This has the potential to be a great companion to the book which is fantastic. However the cycle calculations are off and there’s no way to fix it. For example, on mine currently I am on day 16 of my cycle and if I count the days in the app I’m the week view it’s accurate, but the current day view says I’m on day 20. This happened overnight - I went from day 15 to day 20 on the day view. The most recent update did not fix it. Hopefully this will be adjusted in the next update.
