mad at log in,
Didn’t cancel when cancelled
I started the 7 day trial run. On the 3rd day I knew I would not use it. ( I think it would have been okay but I knew myself) so I cancelled the premium. I got charged for the premium even though my account said free. I emailed them and no response.
UPDATE
The people at Figwee contacted me and let me know they do not do the billing Apple does. They went above and beyond what they needed to do. They gave me free premium and sent me my money back themselves. Thank you for making things more than right.
BaaBaara,
Food and activities
Over all I find this app more useful than many others. I would add the ability to put in photos of “your favs” and the calories for food and possibly activities. I find it difficult and time consuming to have to construct some dishes I make on a regular basis. Putting in my own photo then adding more than 1 item to that dish with a total for calories based on your foods would be helpful. I eat very similar foods each day for my meals. I rarely eat out. So being able to create my actual “favs” would be very helpful. Have a section of links to a few low carb or low fat or low sugar diets might be a plus for everyone.
Piece of piss,
To Figwee
I use Figwee for my meals , every day at least a couple times, since my diabetes counselor turned me on to it over a year ago.I love the sweeping function to get you to the correct amount of each food, i.e., Tble spoon, tea spoon, ounces, etc. The visual helps me keep accurate and each move of the " dial" (so to speak) gives all the nutrition information we are familiar with on boxes. Very inventive and extremely useful in figuring carbs. Thank you for developing this tool.
Tragically White,
Great Update to a Unique App!
I was a huge fan of Figwee for many years and was wondering why no updates were ever created. 2.0 was a good step to making it a true food diary, but 2.7 seems to have fixed all the quirks and flow of the app. To me, this is a must have for anyone looking to control their diet. Very fast and easy to use. I’m surprised at the wide variety of foods they cover! Nothing like this app is out there!
joeamati,
So helpful for Type 1 Diabetes!
Our daughter has Type 1 diabetes for which counting carbs is a must. Figwee has almost the most common foods, even in different iterations. Even better, one can slide the side slider to change portion size of something (e.g. just a few slices of banana vs. an entire banana). So, so helpful! I highly recommend this app!

The ONLY portion-sizing app that works
I’ve been using this app for years, and I’m so happy that new foods are constantly being added in. I always check this app when I’m cooking something new so I don’t make too much food. It’s the ONLY app I’ve found that actually has pictures of food broken up into different sizes.
ds$$2020,
Good product
It is a good product although I do not like subscriptions (and theirs is rather expensive). Initially, had some problems with cancelling subscription, but customer support worked quick and helped. In summary, very good if you want a subscription.

Dislike
Months ago tried to contact developers over problems, left a review, no response. Suddenly out of nowhere I get a mean response from someone obviously not from “the diabetic community,” who has clearly not experienced the terror of dropping bg over inaccurate carbs counts. Ok, Deleted, bullies. For the record, as you could see from other reviews months ago that are no longer here(??) lots of people had problems logging in. I tried to purchase the ad-free version twice. No one is against logging in — if it works properly.

Love it
The exact app I was looking for! Very simple to use. Only reason not five stars is because I have certain foods I would like to see included in the database and if there was a way we could suggest food to be added that actually got considered I would totally give this app five stars. I’m hoping the database is constantly growing!
MrsMurphy7,
Helps portion distortion
I love this app and think it’s a great tool especially if you are out and trying to make decisions about what to order. The main problem I have is having to sign in leads me to use the app less than I would like. Can a “remember me” option be added with the sign in so it stays logged in?
