Love everything about this program
I’ve never felt compelled to write a review before, but this app and Anna Victoria and her team have changed my life (literally). I had been yo-yo dieting and flip-flopping with different ineffective workout plans for years until I got this app last June (2018). I have lost 0 (ZERO) pounds. And I’m thrilled about it!!! I realized through her message and all the guidance she gives through her app and social media that fitness is not about weight, it’s about nourishing yourself (body and mind) and moving your body. This app gives you every tool you need to face fitness head on. It provides you with an accurate macro breakdown (hard to find one that doesn’t give you unrealistically low or high numbers), easy to follow meal plan, convenient grocery list including all the ingredients needed for that weeks meals, three different exercise program options with different goals for each of them, and video guidance on all things fitness, mental wellbeing, how to work through struggles with your fitness journey, and food guidance. Such a reasonably priced app for all that you get. Amazing, kind, and prompt team that has fixed every tiny glitch I’ve had within 24 hours of me letting them know about it (shoutout to Sara). I could go on and on. If you’re looking for something that spells it out for you, with a community that holds you accountable without guilting you when you slip up, this is it.

LIFE CHANGING!!!
I have never written a review on here but this app calls for it. I’ve had this app since January 2018. I’ve never been addicted to an app as much as this one. This app offers you so much, it calculates your macros for you based off of required information like age and activity level and offers you meals based off your preferences (vegan, vegetarian etc). I’ve never been bored with the app. And now with the new update there’s a lot more options like sculpt, shred and tone. Sculpt for weight lifting and using the machines at the gym. Shred for specific weight loss. Tone for a combination which was in the app before the update. The format of the app is well done. The thing that blew my mind is the customer service!! The entire crew is responsive and they truly do their absolute best to help you. It doesn’t even feel like you are speaking with a customer service department. You’re speaking to a friend. I’ve stopped going to the gym completely and started using the app for my workouts. Especially in the cold winter months, no need to warm your car and clean the snow off. Just need dumbbells and a mat. I’m seeing changes in my body that I’ve never seen before. And if you have Instagram, you pretty much get an entire crew to cheer you on. Honestly, from the bottom of my heart this is one of the best things that I’ve ever paid for. So incredibly happy and grateful for this app!

Good, but a small change would make it perfect
I’ve used various programs on Fit Body for a years. I love that they have options for home and gym, a macro calculator, recipes, etc. I’m currently doing Brittany Lupton’s gym program and it’s my favorite so far. I would definitely like to see another program like hers after I finish the current one. My main problem with the app is that I go to a small gym and sometimes the equipment for the current workout isn’t available if the gym is busy. I understand they want us to do each workout in a certain order, but I don’t want to be standing around waiting for equipment to open up when I can just go onto the next exercise. I’ve had to resort to taking screenshots of each exercise before I start the workout so I can see what’s next. It isn’t a big deal, but it’s annoying to have to spend time doing this and then erasing each screenshot when I’m done. I’ve used another app called FitBod that allows you to change the order of the exercises in the event equipment for the next exercise isn’t available. This is exactly what Fit Body needs to do for those of us doing gym programs. Also, I really like that they have recommended weight ranges for each exercise, but it would be nice to be able to track our weight progression as we’re using the app and working on each set. That way we can see how we’re progressing throughout each program. Those two changes would change my rating to 5 stars.

Helped me become consistent
Note: reviews only apply to strength based workouts. This is the first strength workout program I’ve tried that starts and escalates at a realistic level. All the weight programs build slowly at a pace that promotes strength building without exhausting you. It’s great to be able to adjust the fitness level so you can repeat programs. Seeing the consistent gains and progress is motivating. I’ve done 20+ weeks through two programs which is the longest I have stuck with one program. I like to mix in workouts from the Endurance program as well. The workout take anywhere from 30-45 minutes depending on difficulty.

The downside- I don’t thinking working out 6 days a week is realistic or the best plan for every body to promote adequate recovery (neither does my PT husband). The program recommends 3 days of strength and 3 days of cardio + abs. Macros and calorie counting is also not something I find sustainable.

That being said, I only do the strength and ab workouts and mix in 1-2 other workouts a week, walks with the dog, no strict cardio and no drastic diet, and have seen results that I’m super happy with. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been and look forward to these workouts.

LOVE!! My favorite app!!
I can’t rave enough about this app - it’s truly the best workout app for several reasons. Very user friendly with 3 specific workout types (sculpt, shred, and tone) and 3 different levels (beg., interm., adv.) that you can choose from, so whatever is right for your fitness goals and needs. I LOVE that I can do every workout from the comfort of my home (I’m on week 11 of Tone with the intermediate option). The cardio components done 3x/week (grouped with the core circuits) specify what the intensity of your workout should be (low, high, etc) and how to achieve this, though you have the flexibility to do whatever kind of cardio you want! About 2 months into the program I started seeing changes in my body, I feel stronger, I’ve lost weight, and all my clothes is considerably looser!

There’s also “guidance videos” that explain and address a multitude of workout/health/fitness related topics - very helpful. And on top of all that - the app customizes your macros AND meal plans based off your age, weight, goals, etc. Also includes vegetarian and vegan options. And anytime I’ve had a technical issue, customer service has been great. Anna Victoria has changed the game with this app and I could not be more grateful - worth every penny!!!

The best workout program !!
I just started using the fit body app and am LOVING it. I did one of Anna Victoria’s programs years ago but haven’t done it in a long time. This app is a game changer . Having everything digitally is so helpful and I love that there’s videos to help guide you but that you don’t have to watch a video through the entire workout. Since the pandemic I stopped going to the gym and I’ve had a hard time finding an at home workout program that kept me motivated . I prefer to workout listening to music and most at home workout programs require you to watch and follow a trainer on a video . This app has been amazing so I can listen to music while crushing my workout at my own pace.
I love that the workouts get checked off when completing them because those check marks motivate me more ! I’m determined to check them all. I also love the journal entries !
I’m a doctor of physical therapy so I also love to see videos with trainers doing exercises correctly and with appropriate instructions to prevent injuries!

Overall I can’t rave about this app enough. I’ve told all of my friends about it

Content 100% App Functioning 60%
Love Anna and her team and the community. Truly it has changed my life. The goal and heart to improve health and self love is so genuine and inspiring. I am so suspicious of peoples intention when it comes to socials and businesses… but Anna has the best intentions. I have followed her from almost the beginning. She’s always preached health and patience w the process. She really encourages you to be present and at the same time have set goals w/o obsessing over it. Always acknowledged how different every body and journey is. She values your mind equally to your physical health. I staaaannnn Anna and Fitbody and I tell everyone! But. One but. The app has so many glitches. A lot of the time I am trying to keep my app from closing my workout out without it saving my spot. Especially when doing the cardio workouts. There is no way to skip ahead to where you were so you end up having to start the whole cardio over. I haven’t been able to complete it w/o it closing on me so a lot of the time I’m trying to remember what I’ve done in the past to be able to complete it.

Regardless of my 1 “but”, I love this app. It truly has everything you need. It would take a lot to make me walk away.

Worth Every Penny
I had followed Anna for a while and saw when the app came out and was intrigued but thought I was already enough of a “gym person” and that an Instagram trainer app was great but not for me. Well, I was wrong entirely. What initially drew me to downloading the app was the macro meal prep tracker. The fact that I could follow that and not track every morsel seemed to be a huge value add, which it is. Tracking macros changed the game for me. I had unintentionally been way under eating on carbs shockingly and protein. I think all those years of low carb diets in the media etc. sunk into my subconscious. I had always thought I was just lower energy, but I realize now I think I was just under fueling my body and then bingeing. I finally felt energized and between tracking macros and following the workouts I felt the BEST I ever have. That is not hyperbole. I saw results within 3 weeks and this app has been instrumental to me feeling like I am eating and exercising correctly. I’m not slaving away hours in the gym nor constantly feeling hungry. They are always updating cool features as well so it has been an affordable yet insanely valuable investment.

Life changing!
I’ve tried a lot of different apps, ebooks, and online programs but none of them compare to this! I used to be a dedicated cross fitter and marathon runner until 2 years ago. Between having my first baby & adjusting to motherhood and my mental health suffering during COVID, taking care of my body was the last thing on my mind. For about a year I’ve been trying to get back into it, but I could never find a program that worked well for me or that felt like it was really high quality. Finally, during my second pregnancy I got so sick of how I felt without consistent exercise and I signed up for this app. To say it totally changed my life is an UNDERSTATEMENT. This program is safe, smart, and effective. I feel safe doing the program while pregnant and it actually challenges me just the right amount to keep getting stronger while remaining safe. It really feels like it was created to HELP women, not just to make a buck online. The built in videos, timer, nutrition, etc. are all so impressive and helpful! I can’t wait to try the other programs post-birth!

Great app!
I am pleasantly surprised by all the functions this app has to offer. There is a lot more available compared to other apps on the market. However, there are a few cons I have noticed. The app crashes during almost every workout of mine. They have tried to help fix the issue by providing a pop up that will bring you back to the part of the workout you were in while it crashed. That has been a great addition, but the crashing issues has still not been fixed. Secondly, it would be nice to be able to see the whole workout while in the middle of a workout. The beginning page tells you all the details, but most times I forget what the line up looks like when I am in the middle of a workout. It would be nice to toggle through the workout plan and your current exercise. Lastly, there is no back button. Sometimes the equipment I need is taken in the gym and due to time restraints, I tend to move along with the other exercises and come back to those I had to skip. If I want to go back to the skipped exercise, I have to exit the workout completely and start over.
