Fixed Back Problems and Pain Free Again
I’m about 1.5 months into the Off Season workout program, and I couldn’t be happier with my results. For about a year I’ve struggled with lower back pain, specifically related to my SI joint. Been to two chiropractors and physical therapists, and they all seemed to treat the symptom rather than the cause.

Just the other week, after only a month into the Off Season program, I was able to do a FFG workout, 1-hour range session, 2-hour range session and FFG workout, and 18 holes of golf followed by 30-min range session. I did all of that in a four-day span and felt great afterwards! Six months ago, that would’ve had my back seizing up and unable to walk without a chiropractic adjustment (at only 32 years old).

I’m so relieved, and excited, that I’ve been able to find an actual solution to a problem I thought I was going to be stuck with forever, and I can’t think Mike and Fit For Golf enough. I’ve already signed up for the annual program and can’t wait to see what some of the strengthening programs do for my game!

As good as it gets
This app is hands down the best training app I’ve tried. There are a wide variety of programs all included at a monthly rate rather than most apps that charge you per program. This allows you to personalize it to yourself with recommendations from Mike based on your goals and availability. Also, the workouts are easy! Not in the fact that they’re easy work, but they are a manageable amount of time, the videos make the exercises easy to replicate, and the programs I have done so far are really conducive to a home gym that may not have all of the normal gym equipment. Finally, this thing works! Last summer I averaged 253 yards off the tee and this summer that has bumped to 279!! I haven’t incorporated speed training or any other coaching yet so that is purely from training and get stronger and more mobile. It has also jumped all of my club yardages by 10-15 yards making every hole seem like it is between 2-3 clubs shorter than previous years. I couldn’t be happier with the product.

Next level fitness
I’ve been in pretty good shape for a while, running a dozen marathons and 30+ half marathons over the last 8 years. Part of my training would include a 45-minute circuit through nautilus-style weight machines. I picked up golf this summer at age 50 after a 15 year hiatus and knew I needed more help. The gains I have made in my first five weeks with this app and Mike’s guidance are astonishing. I got over my initial intimidation at using free weights after one session. With about the same amount of time spent weight training, I can see a huge difference physically, and I can feel the difference when I swing the club, as well as just in my daily life. I’ve gained almost 10 mph club head speed thanks to this app and simultaneous SuperSpeed training (89 mph to 98 mph). I’m down 7 pounds and close to my target there. Mike is super quick to respond to my questions. I cannot recommend this app enough. For less than the price of two lessons, you’ll have an entire year of Mike’s guidance and support for your goals.

Great program for improving my health and my golf game
I started using Fit For Golf app as a way to start strength training after a recent hip replacement. I’ve played golf all my life but at 56 years old I was starting to lose distance. I’ve never done strength training before so I was a little reluctant but the app is so easy to use and Mike’s videos are wonderful and easy to understand. The app keeps me organized and Mike has also been quick to answer questions I’ve had. In just over 3 months of using the fundamentals program 3x a week along with some speed training, I’ve gained about 8 mph club head speed and lost about 15 pounds. My lower back pain is gone and I feel stronger than I have in a long time. My handicap (5.5) is back down to what it was before my hip issues last year. I feel stronger not only on the course but just in day to day activities. I’m so happy I found this app and will continue using the programs long term. Highly recommend this app for anyone at any age.

Great App & Program!
The Fit for Golf App is super-easy to use & a great program to follow to gain strength & mobility; not just for golf but for life. There are an amazing amount of different programs (Off-Season; In-Season, Strength-Focused, etc.), & EVERY exercise is demonstrated in detail in a video. You can also easily substitute one exercise for another in a given workout, depending on your equipment availability &/or fitness level.
The workouts are also integrated with other activities, including speed training programs (e.g. Stack) & cardio exercise. I’ve gained strength & swing speed since starting the programs in November, & there are so many programs it’s hard to get bored.
Two other things. First, the annual cost for the app is incredibly low for what you get. Second, Mike is constantly adding new material to the site, posting on Twitter, & answering emails & Twitter posts. Cannot recommend the app & program highly enough.

Great Results! Golf and fitness.
I started using Fit For Golf on June 28, 2022. I have followed the program diligently. I stared with the 101 program, then Golf Strong and now I am finishing Winter Strong. This app and program are awesome! I dropped my handicap from 15.4 to 9.7 last fall. I shot back to back career lows of 81/79. I’m on Ohio, so November - March are offseason. That time was spent on the Winter Strength program. I am significantly stronger and more mobile. I also play tennis and I can see the results in that as well. This spring I am hitting the ball farther than I was last fall, and we are not even in full season yet. Mike’s programs are proven and easy to follow. He and his team are very responsive and always willing to help me figure out what program to use next or how to modify it for my own needs. I will continue to be a Fit For Golf golfer!!! Thank you Mike.

Great workout program for golfers
The off-season program was great. I feel that I noticed much more flexibility and also possibly a better understanding of how power works in the golf swing thanks to the medicine ball exercises and others.

My driver distance has went from an average of about 220 to 240 which is a nice improvement and I have hit several balls in the 280 range over the past few weeks. I am definitely driving farther than ever and I just started swing speed training last week to hopefully get a little bit more. My total golf score is still hovering right around 90 which it has been for about six months or so but I do believe that will come with time as I have a whole new set of problems now (hitting the ball over the green or more offline than in the past), I just need to get my distances recalibrated. I started playing during the pandemic and have really fallen in love with the game.

I signed up for this app because I felt that needed workouts tailored to golf.

The workouts definitely help with the golf swing and I love how responsive Mike has been thus far in guiding me on which programs to select.

Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a workout program taylor made for building muscle where it matters for the golf game.

First of all, this is a real review. I’ve had sciatica issues and mobility issues, which limited my ability to walk my home course, Caves Valley in Maryland. I just started fit for golf about two weeks ago. I’m able to walk through my neighborhood now, which is about a mile and a half, I’ve gained 4 pounds of muscle during the fundamental program and I have played a couple of rounds of golf while riding in a cart with little discomfort.
What I really like about the program is that it is structured and there are built in exercise videos that show you the correct form. The program tracks your progress and gives you a shout out for personal Bedt achievements.
I am going to move to the Off Season program next. I’m in Punta Cana now for three days of golf…. I will keep you posted. ⛳️⛳️

Great Fitness App for Golf
I’ve been using this app for almost a year. It has an excellent variety of workouts and puts them in sequence depending on the time of year. He has both written and video descriptions of each exercise for proper technique which is key. I started last fall and went through almost all of them. I’m glad I did this because it gave me a sense of how the app helps to build my fitness and mobility.

I would recommend a new user to start at the beginning if it’s the Fall or Winter, but you can start anytime. The In-Season workouts are lower reps and loading so as not to over-work you during the season. A friend of mine got the app in June and started with the In-Season.

Mike is also continuing to update the workouts and sequences. I really like the Mobility sessions too and do them almost everyday.
Mobility 3, which Mike added recently, is a great warm-up for practice and playing.

Lastly, you can substitute exercises at any time. I do that when I’m at home and don’t have specific equipment or have a limitation. The app allows you to do this. I had a couple of injuries and messaged Mike about the proper substitution. He responded right away, which was great.

This app is definitely worth a try.

Better than a gym membership
Subscribed in March and have been extremely happy with the decision every day since. The workouts are great and easy to follow, especially for someone who didn’t really know how to organize a proper workout without wondering what I might be missing. Besides the lifting workouts, the mobility exercises were a tremendous help in properly warming up before rounds. My body felt much better this past summer than normal and I attribute that to everything I’ve tried so far.

Also, the ability to message Mike within the app with questions has been a tremendous benefit. He or his team responds in a timely manner with clear answers.

This has been so much better than a typical gym membership. I can’t imagine going without this again.
