Terrible user experience
While I like that this app connects to my scale once you have the data it’s hard to use it or find what you need. And there are a bunch of little bugs that they just don’t seem to be bothered to fix. For example: when you look at All Data on the calendar to get the day you want to look at, you actually have to click on the day just after it. This is really annoying. It’s been this way for over a year. Also, when you select your target weight- the value you pick won’t stay once you exit the screen. It’ll move up or down by tenths of a pound for no apparent reason.

The best thing you can do is just download your data and look at it somewhere else. So two stars? because it connects to my scale, can pull in the data and then let you download it. Otherwise this app is a bummer.
Supagirl277,
Needs better direction but solid
I can tell a lot of people who have left reviews here seem to have similar problems. I found that the app had a pre-connected scale on there and I needed to add the new one manually instead of using that one. It’s possible that people didn’t do that step and are confused why the info isn’t showing up on the scale’s screen or the app. It didn’t show up for me until I went to Devices and then pressed the + to add it after the Bluetooth connected. The original one connected was named SWAN. Once I added the scale, it worked just fine and shows all of the info and stays connected.

It seems that the inclusion of that pre-added scale has messed things up, and the directions to add the new scale to the app seems redundant when it seems that it’s already connected, which is why people ignore it. It’s not actually connected already.

I’m really hoping their claims of accuracy prove truthful, as it was one of the main reasons I purchased it. I appreciate the multiple metrics

Day 1 Love It But All Data But 3 All Went Away
Update to update: I don’t know why on the first day I was easily able to step on the scale and it showed info.

I later had to go into other areas where you hit “measure” and connect and it pairs. It seemed to pair automatically the first day so maybe I did something wrong to take it off that I’m not sure.

Update: apparently after the first day the scale refuses to connect to Bluetooth, I should have known better. Hoped the bad reviews were just from obese people who thought they should weigh less 😅 I had all of this awesome info but then it just shows three data spots and I have to go into the other areas where they show the graphs of all the other data, so I’m confused how I get back to all the data just lined up w out graphs.
Jdnwebster,
I hate this app, seriously
This is, by far, one of the most user unfriendly apps I have ever used. I use it because it connects to my scale but honestly, I’m not even sure why I do.
Pros: connects to scale easily, never had an issue. Breaks down skeletal muscle, bone density, and water/hydration (reason for 2 rather than 1 star)

Cons: compares to previous weigh in, month , maybe year??? Difficult to decipher data. I have consistently been losing weight but this app fails to provide any real reflection of that. The graph looks like I’ve had very little change when it has been over 50 lbs. Very discouraging. Also, the BMI calculator is incorrect. I have used other apps and the CDC website for comparison. Developer will state they care about user feedback and experience but lack of any real changes to the app says otherwise.

I’ve started using another app just for better feedback. Do I NEED an app to tell me that I’m losing weight? Not really but it would be nice to be able to make sense of the graphs. Are we comparing where I was last year to this year? Who cares. What I’ve been doing over the course of time is what I care about.
iPad.will.travel,
Fitdays app does NOT report weight to Fitbit
I bought the Bveiugn Scale because I wanted a lower cost option for reporting my weight stats to my Fitbit App. This Fitdays is the app my new Bveiugn scale said to download. Upon initial setup the scale reported my weight to my Fitbit app, but not since. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting, logging out of the apps then in. Neither of these actions worked. Then I tried to find s way to contact the developer through the app, nothing found. Finally I tried to get app support through the Apple App Store using the link provided here. That link does not work. There is a gross failure on this Fitbit Link feature. Additionally, the link from the Bveiugn scale to the Fitdays app ONLY works when the app is open on my iPhone and near the scale. If you weigh without first opening the Fitdays app and having it standby while you weigh, then it will NOT record your weight or other stats. Hoping that the developer will fix this quick.
Alesair,
Honestly I’m just confused?
It was easy to pair with the scale that recommended this app. However analyzing and deciphering what it is saying is not user friendly and downright confusing.

I’m a very tall person so I think it confuses the app in general and I’m not sure which “health” statistics and formulas/guidelines/scales ar being used. Because when I look at the print out it tells me that my body is both standard, overweight, severely overweight and obese?! They’re all in different sections and I’m just downright confused. Also I can’t figure out how to compare dates in a useful - intuitive way.

I feel this app has potential but honestly I have no clue if improvements are being made or it’s more of a free data mine for this company?
K.Alice.K,
Would like more features
I love that it syncs not only with my iPhone but with my Apple Health app too! I just started using it this morning so I’m still familiarizing myself with the app (took me 20 minutes to figure out how to delete an entry), but I would like to be able to add entries to previous dates. I’m not the only one that is motivated by seeing your total progress right in front of you and the home page does that, but I’ve been on my weight loss journey for 2 months before I bought the scale and I’d like to be able to at least put my starting weight in the app so the home page shows me how far I’ve come from the start, not just when I used the scale first.
FlaDebbie,
Cant delete account!
I’ve actually been using this for several years and it is been working fine. The problem is that I no longer need the scale and I want to give it to my daughter, so I want to delete all my data from the scale in this app. However, the email I originally used when I set up the account is no longer accessible, and of course I don’t remember my password. I can’t change my password because I don’t have access to the original email so I can’t delete my account.

All I want to do is delete my data/account so that my daughter can start fresh with the scale. How am I supposed to be able to do this if I no longer have access to the original email I used when setting it up?
powderseven,
Frustratingly close to being useful, but is useless
App connects to the scale, but whoever programmed the app for not understand how to display data. It will only display one week of data at a time. If you chose “month” it shows you one data point for the whole month. I don’t want one data point, I want to see EVERY data point that month. Same goes if you choose “year” just one data point for the whole year. Makes the app frustratingly useless because it is so close to being useful.

Hey “Cherry” this is an easy fix. Get rid of “week” “month” and “year” and just show every data point all the time. Then make the time range expandable or shrinkable by pinching and spreading the chart.
Cat4567123,
Be warned- App format might be triggering for ED
The app should be able to hide certain aspects of the viewing/main screen. Firstly, you can’t create an account without having a body weight “goal.” I purposely put my body weight “goal” at 200, knowing I’m well under that to try to avoid the pressure, but you should be able to skip the prompt altogether or hide it from your view. I would love a company that takes the technology offered here, but presents it in a way that is customizable and sensitive to real-life users. Also, would love scientific links to the research behind each of the “ideal” “average” “too high” brackets for all of the measurements. Why is the “ideal body age” 2/3 your own age? That feels arbitrary without the data to back it up.
