You can now link MotiFIT Ride with Strava for automatic or manual workout uploads. Simply Authenticate your Strava Account under MORE > Data Sharing.

Another major change is that you only need one MotiFIT membership for all three apps now. This means that if you currently have an active PRO membership from any of the apps, you now will now have access to the other apps as well. This also means that only one active subscription is required moving forward. If you are currently subscribed to more than one of our apps, you can TURN OFF the additional auto-renewing memberships.

Other Changes:
• Now saving heart rate samples in Apple Health as they are being read from the pulse monitor instead of only at the end of the workout.

You can turn on these new features by FORCE pressing on Apple Watch during a workout.

SoumyBunny,
Network issues
The app does not seem to function after subscribing . It is confused between free trial and subscribed version. It keeps telling me that I have network issues and can’t connect. Have iPhone 13 pro max with latest update. App dashboard has good info but the app itself is not functioning with multiple networking issues.
Tduma,
Good stuff excited for future updates.
Like any investment, you want things to get better over time. I have had FITIV for about a year and a half now and I only use it for cycling. Since day 1, the FITIV team has continued to update and enhance the user interface and experience in big ways. Particularly their updates with the Apple Watch were crucial for my rides. They listen to user feedback and take action quickly when there’s an issue. You can’t expect perfection with any app but FITIV has definitely been making some good moves with their updates and enhancements to the app. I haven’t experienced a single issue when using the app since I’ve had it. What FITIV needs to do next is compete with STRAVAs GPS features like tracking PRs and stretch times for different areas of people’s exercise routes. STRAVA can be overwhelming and data packed for an amateur but I think FITIV can keep it crisp and simple and add those fun competitive social interactions as they grow and get better. 👍🏼🤙🏼
ChristopherJ62,
No support
This suite of apps has a lot of features, unfortunately some of the key features are unreliable and support is non-existent. I have been trying to use the FITIV Ride app with my iPhone and Apple Watch. I want to stream the heart rate info from the watch to the phone. It works except that it I receive a “Waiting for data” message on the phone over half the time. When I ride, my watch is 10 inches from my phone. I submitted a support ticket, no response. I went ahead and subscribed for a month in hopes there would be a solution. The app doesn’t recognize my subscription, and the restore purchases link generates an error every time. If I don’t hear back soon, I will be contacting Apple for a refund on my non-working subscription.

Not pleased
I paid for a years subscription. I have had nothing but problems. I use this on my iPhone as well as my Apple Watch. When I finish riding most times the workout will not save. It closes the app back to the watch face. Only way to try to record another workout is to delete the old one that refuses to save. Second issue while riding the app closes well into my workout with no notification or anything. So another workout lost. I have uninstalled reinstalled restarted you name it and I continually have issues. I sent messages for tech support and never heard back from them. I’m going back to the Under Armour app. At least it saves all of my workout data. My advice don’t waste your time or money in this one
AlconburyBlues,
“Try it for free” does not give you anything
The entire app is completely disabled unless you subscribe to a payment plan. You can’t even record ONE ride just to see if you like the app!

It first bugs you with the usual give me access to this and that during the setup (which I did). But then no matter what you try to do it goes to the “pick a subscription plan” page with a 20 second timer. So what good is it if I can’t even tell if it works, or has the features I’m looking for?

All it lets you do is stare at the main screen. If you tap on anything it just says here join this and join that. But it doesn’t actually let you see what is beyond that. So this “trial” was completely useless.
JSteveT,
Good app
I got it because it syncs with my polar heart monitor. It is better than having several different gizmos to keep track of distance, heart rate, elevation gain and speed. I also have the run app for my walks and hikes even though I don't run. The auto pause does not work very well walking and hiking.
Hikercycler,
Great Exercise App!
I use this app with the Scoshe Armband pulse monitor. Many features in this app. Can manually set 5 training zones or let app do it. Complete reports of every workout. Shows percent and actual time in each training zone. Map showing travel. Graphs showing elevation profile, pulse rate, speed. I use for cycling. Has helped me prevent overdoing it on hill climbs.
VOFITZ,
Really love all aspects of app and especially UI!
Really impressed with all the features and possible integrations available! Looking forward to all upcoming possibilities within apps. I found my one fitness app finally after many reviewing all options available.
plagose,
Cardio measurement VERY unreliable.
Have an Apple Watch with latest iOS. Despite this, cardio measurements constantly freeze for minutes at a time. And ocasonally go crazy to 200+ numbers. I reported this months ago but has not improved.
ManuelGo2,
My second review,
It's great to see how many of the old bugs have been fixed. But I've noticed a few bugs that are unique to this app in comparison to others (Ex. Strava).

I can have a great signal but the app pauses itself and doesn't track for a good 3 miles, I check to see if other apps can track me and they work fine.

On very long rides the app starts to lag. For example I stop moving but the app is lagging behind by 15 seconds recording my previous movements. This makes the speedometer useless. Note: this started happening at 70+ miles

Once completing a very long ride, the app freezes up probably because it's trying to compute about 80+ miles of data.
