Wow! Where has this been all my life
I was so sick of the emails, but still wanted a way to see alerts on food recalls. I read about the FoodKeeper app, but it’s kind of like an email and takes too long to determine each individual alert. This app, in the other hand, shows the same data, but gives you the brief summary you are looking for, an actual photo of the product, and the a symbol associated with the recall reasoning.
The only downside is that it doesn’t show anything that is under investigation/products that haven’t been forced to recall just yet.

User friendly and fun
Finally an app that takes the USDA food recall’s dry reports and presents them in a clear, identifiable, and fun way! It has never been easier to keep track of them and make sure I don’t buy any. The search bar and the pictures are great tools to quickly identify the recalled products and see if I usually buy them or not. Kudos to the team as well who responded amazingly fast to a suggestion I sent them.

Helpful Without Being Alarming
This app is great! It gives me the info I need without the sensationalistic news overload. Now I actually have a bit less anxiety because I feel I have a good tool to keep my family and myself safe. The scary news stories just make me want to hide my head in the sand. This app gives me the knowledge, without a side helping of fear.

Not a super complicated app, but the tab bar will just disappear if you look at information about a recall.
