Fripito includes photo guides for hundreds of destinations around the world offering not only detailed information about accommodation, food and transport, but mainly tips on where to find interesting spots, local light conditions, recommended equipment and camera settings for a fraction of the price of printed tourist guides.

Fripito was made for photographers by photographers. It does not matter if you prefer your mobile phone camera or top of the line DSLR. Your experience does not matter either. What matters is to be in the right place at the right time, to catch the perfect light. That is why you will find no dry descriptions of historical monuments and tourist spots in our guides. What you will find are directions to quiet and interesting spots with instructions on how to capture their authentic atmosphere and spirit.

Our photo guides are made by locals and every Fripito user can comment on the photographs and texts of our guides and help keep the information up-to-date. All published pictures and information are verified by a team of editors, ensuring the application offers only correct and up-to-date material.

Fripito is an application for both iPhone and iPad. It will travel with you anywhere you go. You can download all the necessary data to your device before your trip eliminating the need for Internet connection or signal coverage, making it easy to consult our guides in the middle of Africa, Peru’s deserts or Greenland’s glaciers.
CREATE YOUR OWN GUIDE
Fripito is open to all photographers willing to share their good experiences. All you have to do is contact us and create your own guide using the provided template. After your guide is reviewed by our editors, it will be uploaded to the application and you can join the growing team of authors selling their guides on Fripito.
CHOOSE WAY HOW TO PAY PREMIUM CONTENT
Every user can choose between on-time destination based payments for premium guides or premium subscription.
Premium subscription offers 1 or 3 months full access to all guides. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.

Great app for photo enthusiasts
This app is ideal for everybody who like to travel and want to take professional looking photos. Each travel guide will tell you where and when to go, to take awesome pictures. Photo guides are focused on specific places, cities, or countries. You can browse through the list to find your ideal travel guide, or search on the map to find a guide for a specific location. Or just get inspired by the photos and choose your next destination. Great source of inspiration!

In App purchases do not work , no customer support
AVOID !!! I purchased the subscription, so in theory I should have access to all guides . Instead I have zero access to any guide. I’ve also emailed support and never received a reply back. I waited 7 days before I left this review.
There’s other apps out there like Explorest, while they don’t have as many locations as Fripito , at least their app works.

A Photo Guide App Worth Downloading
The app gives photographers another tool in the important task that is location scouting. It’s especially beneficial for those hobbyist photographers who really don’t have a whole lot of time in a location and want to get the most out of it. It will save people a whole lot of time that they might have otherwise spent researching locations and allow you to create a photography plan for your specific destination.

My must have app for travel
I always love traveling. I really love the photograph guide provided from this app. It's absolutely awesome. I can travel around the world in minutes. the offline map help me much when I'm traveling and have no connection to the internet. I'm bad at making a travel plan and this app do it all for me.

Tons of potential...
This is a well designed app that is lacking in one key area - content! Most of the guides are available only as previews with the full version "coming soon." If/ when these are updated, this will be a great app. Also a little suspicious that all other reviews are from the same few days in October. As a frequent travel photographer, I'd love an app like this. However, in its current state it's of limited value to me.

Learning about landscapes has never been so easy!
If you are a traveler or someone who just can't travel right now, this app couldn't be any more helpful. When you look at the landscapes, and architecture photographed by professionals is amazing.

I love the photos and how well this app works! I had no problem accessing so many areas and getting a view of the exact image they would look like in person.
