Good with problems
Have the Mevo+’23. First issue is connecting the Mevo to FSgolf app. Scan the qrcode and it connects and then the app immediately crashes every time. Repeat several times every time. Second issue is session data not transferring to the cloud. Especially frustrating when almost through a whole session and app crashes. So far Awesome golf app works better. When all things are working data has been accurate. Using short indoor mode, with RCT balls, on IPAD pro. Lastly navigating the FS golf and FS skills apps has been frustrating.

No Internet Connection
When I purchased my mevo plus I purchased a IPad mini 6 as well so I could be up and running. Well, as soon as I got the Mevo plus out of the box and the app downloaded it hasn’t worked. Every time I go to log on to the FS Golf app it says “no internet connection”. I’ve reached out and spoken to multiple people at flightscope and they don’t know either.
The recommendation they gave me was to leave a review so the app developers can try to fix it.
This is has been so frustrating as now (8 months later) I see that the 2023 mevo plus comes with the FS Golf software for PC as well as e6 for PC which is what I would have preferred to begin with. So I’ve basically wasted 500 dollars on an iPad that doesn’t work with the Mevo plus. The people at flightscope are telling me now that I would have to pay an additional 100 for the FS golf PC version as well as purchasing the e6 pc version when it’s released.

What happened??? - issue corrected
I have owned my Mevo+ for two weeks and love it but an update for Apple devices (iPhone and iPad Pro) was released and now my devices can “connect” to the Mevo + but it never goes to”ready” making my Mevo+ a really expensive piece of plastic on the floor. What happened with this update. Fix it an this will be a solid five stars but not right now.
Today I opened the app back up on my iPad and a firmware update automatically downloaded which I could not get either device to do manually yesterday. Once connected the Mech updated and now I get the much desired “Ready” on either/both devices. AWESOME ITS BACK IN BUSINESS.

Good and bad
Somethings got a little better coming from the Mevo app to this one. Unfortunately lot got worse. I like the layout of the info screen while hitting balls. But now the text is so small it’s hard to read with phone laying on ground, and I have pretty good eyesight. Probably the worst is that when you view all you shots now in the cloud, you cannot delete shots. I primarily use the Mevo to help dial in distance. And not having the ability to delete outlier shots makes it pretty pointless for me. I have to move everything to Excel to get any reasonable statistics. I have gone back to using the Mevo app so I have to deal with the pop up telling me about this every time I open it

X3 not mevo
This works amazing with the X3. I assume the poor reviews are from mevo owners who expect X3 performance. I rarely use my phone for this but I’ve had the same experience on both.
Only complaint I have is not being able to have a double vertical row of stats and making it easier to swap views. i.e. to the club data (D Plane) from the range. Also I have noticed the voice will come and go announcing the yardage and it would be nice to be able to select what stat or stats it announces.

Keeps Crashing
The updates you guys did in the last few months is awful for iPad. Takes for ever to open and crashes constantly. Didn’t have this issue early this year. The iPhone app doesn’t seem to have the same issue. My iPad is three years old and is the pro 3rd gen. Do not have issues with e6 only with this app. Seems like you guys have to many background processes running. Constantly get new firmware downloading and freezes and even if the firmware does install I’ll open the app and it will try and download again. Please fix I really like what you guys have done for recording your swing but the way app functions just makes it impossible to use.

The app works great
A lot of reviews saying it crashes but mine has yet to crash ever after 2 weeks of using Mevo+ pro 2023. The app is super in depth way more than I expected with the amount of ways to look at your data. Drains battery on my iPhone 11 somewhat fast but it’s to be expected since It’s always on and I’m also using AirPods. Also the phone is running on 3 years now.

Mevo + Pro Package excellent!
Just purchased the Pro Package for the Mevo+ 2 weeks ago and used with the updated app. It is amazing the data captured and it’s presentation. Only had one or two balls (out of 100 in the session) not captured by the device and the way the information is displayed ….and how it can be manipulated is incredible….especially swing plan and club face data in the 3D mode.

It’s pretty easy to set it up. Click on the button to turn it on, set it behind, open the app and start using it.
The app measurements are accurate - as long as if you only hit it straight. If ball flight strays from the middle, then the distances can change between 5-20 yards.
Throughout my range session, the app continues to infuriate me. 5-10 shots in, the app will crash. What do I need to do? Open the app, reopen the same range session, adjust the club accordingly and start hitting again.
What happened again 5-10 balls in? The top right will change from “connected”/“ready” to “disconnected” and the only want to get the Mevo reconnected is to delete the app from the app tray, reopen the app, reopen the same range session, and adjust the club accordingly to re-establish connection.
It’s nice how “easy” it is, but the reliability is absolute garbage. I’m looking to sell this for a Swing Caddie.

Firmware update
Due to military service and location I was unable to connect to my Mevo+ for a little less than a year. Today I connected to my Mevo+ and the app said the firmware was up-to-date when it is clearly not. I chatted with customer care and was told I needed to have a Windows PC in order to remote download the firmware. I only have Apple products. Who has Windows PC these days? Seems like an easy fix if the IOS app just recognize that the firmware was out of date and just download the latest firmware to my Mevo+.
