Am very happy with this product

The experience with the aligners has been great and I really liked the 3D simulation before I started treatment but the app needs some basic updates: 1. it started reminding me to take pictures without even having the aligners. How about a „I am starting to wear them now“ button that could also easily remind folks when it’s time to change to next stage. 2. Taking a „good“ picture is impossible, everything is considered „too blurry“. While I am able to shoot 4K action movies with my iPhone, this app can’t take a single good picture. Maybe use the macro lens? 3. It’s also impossible to take a picture if you are alone: holding the retractor, your phone (way to close to actually see what you are doing), and no way of taking the picture with your volume buttons and/or a timer. This app should have the disclaimer: not usable for singles. Great idea on the app, bad execution - so far.

This app could be so much better with a few changes.
1. Allow users to add notes and a date when submitting photos. This way we the reviewer can understand if you just started wearing a certain stage. Or if you’re not seeing enough progress you can mention it since the photos don’t always show the detail necessary when there’s a gap between your teeth and the aligner. I often wonder how closely someone is actually looking.
2. When submitting photos, allow the user to choose if they want to start with the aligner on or off. I’ve pushed off submitting photos because I didn’t have time to take the aligners first.
3. Compare photos feature should actually work.
4. Some kind of tracking feature, I’m using a timer on my phone to make sure I keep them 22 hours a day.
5. Update timelines based on your actual progress and treatment plan. I’m on my 3rd iteration and it has never changed.

The ease of use of the app is tempered by the fact it’s impossible to take clear photos - every photo says it is blurry. However, my dentist has said the photos are fine the way they are.

The aligners are super-easy to use and are a perfect fit in each of my five sets so far, which is the most important part of the whole experience.

This app is awful! It randomly closes. It never appears to be synced with what my actual dentist is telling me. Taking pictures is way more complicated than it should be And the company is super slow ( except of course in the beginning when they’re trying to get you to sign up and pay them). I hope these aligners work 🤷🏻‍♂️

I thought the app would be helpful, but not really. It doesn’t let me track my wear time. It won’t let me look at my own photos to compare. It also won’t let me edit my treatment plan so my completion date is way off. Basically I can only use it to send photos to my Ortho and to see the sim of how my teeth should progress.

There is no way to communicate with my doctor on here or ask a question. Other than being able to take pictures, it’s pretty worthless.

this app glitches any time you do anything. open it. try to change the screen. try to take a photo. I cannot take any progress pics because it closes every time I open it! so frustrating!!
