Great content, wonky app…

There’s a lot to watch and the content is pretty enjoyable, but the app is a bit of a mess. Search sometimes just doesn’t work at all. (For example: You can search for something you know is available, and nothing comes up.) Also, I can’t understand how a company with a video app in 2022 thought it was a good idea to leave out basic controls. There’s no forward or rewind button, so if you miss something and want to go back 20 seconds or so to see it, you have to pause (which is kind of a pain in itself, since pausing is inconsistent) and you have to drag the little progress bar at the bottom and hope you don’t drag too far. That is absolutely unforgivable. This is the ONLY video app I know of that doesn’t have basic viewing controls. That’s especially annoying when you consider that their syncing is a little off sometimes, so when you come back later to watch something you paused earlier, you’re often taken back to somewhere else in the video.

The content is great, but the app really needs a lot of work.

Old school app functions with a new app “no response” attitude

As many have written, no 10 sec advance/rewind. This would come in handy as your subtitles stay on screen for 2 seconds. I’m a great reader, but I cannot read 2 lines of text in 2 seconds. I’m a VIP member with recurring billing, but it tries to scare me by posting in video feed, “your VIP ends soon, buy again” when I absolutely know I have set up billing. Debuts of new episodes do not always occur on date noted on screen. But the biggest PAIN in the inability to FF or REW 10secs for scene or sub clarification. Attunes, adding yet another issue, the app will get tired of playing a video, and will go into a fuzzy gray screen saying, “source material unavailable.”

It’s a shame. With the demise on LINE TV in Thailand, this company has saved a lot of shows and has been a great help to a niche audience. But please bring your app ibto tge 21st Century.

Decent app

I’ve been using this app for a few weeks, and I even subscribed. It’s been going well so far, but I have some “issues”, if you will. Is there going to be an option in the future to cast to Devices like Chromecast? I know AirPlay is an option, but it’s only wanting to link to my speakers in my living room. Also, I don’t like how it doesn’t save where you are at. For instance, I could stop for some reason in the middle of an episode, but if I try to go back, it doesn’t pick up where I left off, it would start the episode over or it wouldn’t register that the episode has been completed or started or anything like that. I think those would really enhance the user experience. Otherwise, the quality is good and subtitle are great and not for a terrible price either!

Buggy app and high subscription cost

I downloaded this app after watching a preview for a movie that apparently is exclusive to the app. Unfortunately I won’t be watching the movie after all. The trailer has no audio and I don’t know if the movie will because I won’t pay to watch something that I might not be able to hear. I checked other trailers and shows on the app - some have audio and some do not so I know it is not an issue with my device. Another unfortunate thing about this app is that most content is locked behind a paywall, which would be fine if the cost wasn’t so high for what you get. The subscription cost is several dollars more per month than other, similar apps. Also, their claim that this is the only app to watch LGBTQ films and shows out of Asia is a blatant lie...Viki Rakuten, Line TV, even iQiyi...all have LGBTQ content from Asia. And those are just the ones that I have subscriptions to. I’ll be skipping the movie that I wanted this for and uninstalling the app.

Tons of content, tons of issues

I’ve been a VIP member with this app for a while and I’ve come across a host of issues. One of them being my subtitles. They are either in the far right of my screen so I can’t see them or they’re too big for my screen and get cut off. I’m about to cancel my subscription due to this. I’m paying for an app with shows I can’t understand. 😔 and it’s a shame because when I first got the app it worked great. I’ve tried deleting it and redownloading it, I made sure the upgraded version was on there as well, I also tried to cast it to my tv which it showed up great but no subtitles at all would even show up. I hate to see this one go but I’m not spending any more money on it

This app is so bad. But the selection of dramas are great.

This app is so bad. But the selection of dramas are great. Every time I watch something, it does not save in continue watching for most dramas. In the times where I have to stop watching a drama and I turn off my device and comeback it doesn’t save the time stamp. On top of that I really wish there was a skip 10 button. I feel it’s very necessary especially for those boring scenes. It would nice if people could put their review of a drama on this app to see which other recommend. Because of these issues I feel discouraged to use this app.

Google Login Issue - Fixed

Edit: I’m revising my review after the developer responded via email and fixed the problem within a day. I enjoy the variety of shows and global content they offer. I would appreciate a better interface to skip forward and rewind.
Original: I have tried to contact support via three different browsers but all have frozen after hitting submit. So I’m trying my luck here. I am getting the error “The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDo-main error -1)” when trying to login with my VIP account via Google on the app.

Great app but it really needs certain controls

This app has a wide variety of BL that would take me multiple platforms to stream all under one app. I love the interface and selections BUT I cannot stand that there is no fast forward or rewind button on the videos. It’s so annoying when I am watching a subbed show and missed a line and have to pray it won’t take me an additional minute or two to get back to the scene I was just on. Besides this it’s a good app and not too much subscription wise. It’d be 5 stars if there were playback controls

A waste of a download

I downloaded this app to watch the show Unforgotten Night because it said it was free on this app which is a lie. The first two episodes are free but you have to subscribe to watch the rest. I think it’s a good concept for an app but the fact that they basically lie to you about a show being free. There are better apps for you to use like Dailymotion and Viki and just so many other apps where you can watch the shows for free. I wouldn’t mind paying for shows but the fact that they lie about them being free is just so annoying. I would suggest actually making shows free and then having a premium section and have the whole show actually free.

Update

I love this app but for weeks I have not been able to use it because I was told that is not compatible with iOS 16 now so it would be nice that if the developer could keep up with the phone transfers and updates so we could use it. The only response I got was to reach out to Apple to get a refund on the app because they don’t know when they can get it updated. Does anybody have an idea other than that this app is great I love watching the programs.
