Highly recommended
This game is one I have played on and off for a year or two now..maybe a bit longer. Every time I have had any type of issue, the support team is always pretty quick to get back with me and very helpful in resolving whatever the issue is; and they’re always really nice on top of it. You can play solo or join in PVP competitions. Every day there are small missions helping to earn money, gems, and other helpful items. Playing in endless mode earns gems with every 1,000 enemies you destroy. Due to these little helpful details, you don’t *have* to spend money to enjoy the game by any means-but every time I have spent money on a ship or package-I have not come to regret it, or felt they misled me to believe it was more worthwhile than it was. Spending the 3 or 4 dollars every month for the daily sign in bonus is worth it-even if you do not log in for a week, you start back up right where you were at-you do not miss any of your bonuses. This a great game with hours of enjoyment, and highly recommendable.

The developers comment that you don’t have to pay anything because you can watch videos. You could literally watch videos 24/7 for 10 years and you still wouldn’t be able to merge ships. The copy and paste response’s should be enough to show people that read reviews this is a cash grab scam that can cost thousands which is ridiculous for any game you play for fun. Even after spending 100$s you will hit a paywall and have to spend a LOT of money just to beat the campaign. The ads are worthless giving 10k when it cost millions to to upgrade a ship to the max.
This game is a scam. every purchase is misleading, the game makes you think you can upgrade your ship if you get enough materials but you will not be able to, one $20 purchase is not going to do anything, the game does not tell you how many levels you need to level up, it makes you think once you obtain items you are able to upgrade, but that is not the case. This game is definitely not made for children, my child spent hundreds of dollars before telling me he wasn’t getting what he paid for. I attempted to play the game to see if maybe he was doing something wrong but it’s just straight up false advertising and the customer support was no help. They did not even acknowledge my refund request. Stay far far away from this game.

Fun game but progressing will cost $$$
This game is a blast to play the ships are interesting and unique. The graphics are good and boss fights are challenging.
That is short lived unfortunately. I am on the 2nd planet in the campaign and the Vulture ship I upgraded to level 25 and 13 rate of fire is complete trash. It’s clear that in order to progress I need to merge ships. The materials to merge ships cost real money. At this rate my guess is you spend like $50 on 1 ship and it will be trash before you leave the solar system. Who knows how much it will cost to upgrade it after that? My other issue is that you can accidentally switch to other ships you’ve unlocked but don’t want to use. Those ships might be un-upgraded or worse they’re just trash or both! There is no way to turn off the ship switching power ups. Worse is in order to unlock some ships it costs money then it will be trash before you’ve progressed very far. I’m at the point where it costs real money to upgrade ships and I don’t want to find out the costs. Most of the ships I have were earned in game but the one that I bought turned out to be disappointing. I don’t play much mobile games but if it’s pay to progress I’m our.

Fun but has a few flaws (updated review)
**Update** I commend the customer support team for reaching out and being transparent about their efforts to bring prices down and make more content available. Good on them for communicating and genuinely trying to keep players/consumers happy! It really is a fun game overall and I can see that they’re making efforts to listen to feedback and improve. Improving my rating because of great customer support.

Terrible Support(restore purchases button asap)
When attempting to sync my progress from the iPad version to the iPhone version I lost almost my ships including mini ships for some unknown reason as it retained my vip rank, campaign progress, and pvp history. I lost ships you only get from playing pvp(wakanda), those ships & mini ships unlocked by watching videos, and ships & mini ships I bought with money which is the biggest thing as I spent actual cash to get these ships. Thankfully despite their records incorrectly saying the account was relatively new(they were skeptical as to how I had certain ships requiring play time or pvp experience due to my supposed account creation date) the support technician I spoke with managed to restore/unlock all my main ships(not any of my mini ships or the upgrades to my ships sadly). Then when I opened the app on a different device(iPad) it synced that versions across both devices(iPhone & iPad) erasing everything they’d managed to restore essentially putting me back at square 1. I apologized for wasting their time after saying it’d been erased again...then they replied saying they hoped I enjoyed the game more going further. Money and time down the drain apparently as it seems like those things are lost forever. I’m never playing this game again.

It’s a total lie, don’t listen to the developer comments. They lie. All the free gems, coins and other gifts in this game won’t get you far. To get any ship to a 5 star level takes money and a lot of it. And too much money. It’s a well designed game for sure but takes too much money to advance. And the developers lie about it which makes it worse.
For a basic space shooter game this is very creative, well designed (except for lots of network issues) and fun to play. But it’s far too expensive to keep upgrading your ship. To get a 5 star ship takes hundreds of dollars or probably years of game play to do it for free. The red gems are way too expensive, same with all the other things you need to get past a certain point in the game. Of course, they don’t care because people are paying it and it’s a very profitable game. I even spent money and am shocked at how little it did. I’d recommend playing this game for a month, spend a few bucks and then move on.

Ah, games that used to cost a quarter, now cost insane amts of $ and ads
Imagine, having to PAY for a game AND be forced to watch ads EVERY round of play? First 2 rounds, took about 2 minutes (actually better than most actually) and then 2 or more minutes of Forced Ads. Some have NO X icon or button.

The days of buying a game if you like it, are gone. ALL devs these days set up with relentless ads, or relentless subscription fees, or fees to buy game items to advance. The ONLY way for end users to gain traction is to BOYCOTT or DELETE these games/apps from our hardware. It’s the ONLY way. As end users of games, apps or other content, we are fair game to the makers of these things. And, it costs massive amounts of money for a user of apps or players of games anymore, sooo far from what it used to be. Used to be?… you could PAY for an app or game ONCE. Not so much anymore and I will say again, the ONLY way to take back some sort of control, is to BOYCOTT or Get Rid of these types of games. I got nothing against profit, when the game shows true worth, in the way of game play, physics, updates, and the like. These games are not that.

PVP Matchmaking is AWFUL
Game is very fun, but it appears that absolutely no attempt was made to balance pvp matchmaking. From the first game ive played, ive been absolutely smashed by opponents almost every time (despite losing zero lives and basically playing the level flawlessly). In the one game i won i absolutely smashed the opponent, so im guessing the game matched me up with a considerably weaker opponent that one time just like it was doing with me. Obviously losing or winning like this isnt exciting in any way so i dont understand why this isnt receiving more attention.
If it was remotely close id just chalk it up to my skill level and try to improve my strategy or loadout, but its not… under no circumstances could i ever match the score my opponents have without significantly upgraded ships or mini ships. I started playing a week or so ago, so its not like I would possibly have farmed enough to acquire the ships Im being matched up with.
Game’s great, but pvp just isnt presentable at all in its current state.

Only way to advance in this game is to spend money. If you want to waste a ton of money trying to stay competitive then this game is for you. It would not be a bad game if it was not constantly asking for money. There is no way you can beat anyone that has spent money on power ships. Free ships are not strong enough to win. In PVD mode you are way ahead in the score the entire game and as the game ends you lose. It’s a joke. They want you to spend more to win

Latest update took all of my progress
I had a ridiculous amount of coins, ships, upgrades, progress on the map, stuff I’d bought, etc, that the newest update just blanked all of it out. Still has my pic and profile but everything else is reset to zero. It’s all gone. I spent many months across a few years getting as far as I did. I’ve really enjoyed this game - it’s very fun and challenging, and the graphics and sounds are fantastic. But I don’t think I have it in me to start over from the very beginning at ground zero and go through all of that again - just for it to possibly wipe me out again with another future update. This used to be 5 stars for me. It’s with a heavy hand I’m even giving it 2 stars now since all of my time, effort, money, and countless hours of watching in-game ads was, at this moment, absolutely for nothing. Did I enjoy playing it? Absolutely. It’s a very fun game. But I’m incredibly disappointed to see all of that vanish in the blink of an eye, with no recourse to recover it.
