Loving this game! - but one issue.
I’m really loving Game of Nations it helps me pass time and there is so many things to do that just keeps me checking back in everyday after work, props to the developers and all who’ve made this idle nations game to be the wonderful game that it is. I am having only one issue tho, ever since the newest update I haven’t been able to play the game, I click on the game and it only stays on a grey screen for a few seconds then just closes out it won’t even have the loading screen pop up anymore, please check into this issue for me I really wanna get back into playing it, I’ll keep the game on my phone and keep checking in too see if it’s resolved. Anyway thank you so much for this enjoyable game. <3

It’s full of bugs! Fun but like all games you have to buy stuff to stay interested. Which is no big deal unto itself but after spending the money and crushing, the app crashed and I lost everything all the money I spent and I had to start over. No big deal it happens and I like the game so I got the game again like an idiot and started seeing all the flaws in the new version. I figured I would send an email and maybe the would fix them and hopefully credit my acct for my wasted money. Ya right they not only didn’t do anything they had the Gaul to ask me to make videos for them… so stealing my money wasn’t enough they want me to work for them also?? The Gaul of these crooks is unbelievable and I told them so. So how did they reply well they didn’t they sent me an email saying my account was closed!!! If you have this game or are thinking about it watch the arena count ut will say you have 5 spins after you use one it will say you have two left! And guess what when your out of spins you have to buy more!!! That’s theft they are just hoping your not paying attention! As I said I told them about this flaw and they did nothing! I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau. It’s to bad it could of been a great game.

Let me just start of by saying first written review and second review in total because this game is going to have potential! Any medieval history nerd such as myself will love it! All the characters are historically accurate and with coming updates this game is going to blow up!

It’s an ok start
I’m an avid AFK Arena player, and this game is almost exactly like that. Except this doesn’t run smoothly at all. This game has constant connection issues, freezing, and error messages. If they fix those issues though, this game will be great. I love swiping down for battles and watching the battlefield connect like a slots game. Then, I get to see my army duke it out. Well, almost an army. I can only have 6 units out at once if they each cost 1, but only 2 units if they each cost 3, which the epic units mostly do. I hope I gain more space for units soon, because I can see this being an issue.

Basically alpha
Game is missing so many things. No achievements, actual market, other challenge modes. The hero xp gain is way too low for how much gold you gain. I have around 2 mil after playing for one day and absolutely nothing to spend it on. There’s a bug where the game can’t actually reconnect if you swipe up and back to it. This game is basically in alpha and is looking for people to spend money rn. The campaign is meh and you can’t really advance because of said low hero xp gain. To be honest it’s a good start but needs lots of basic functions to get anywhere and retain player base.

Game Ending Bugs
Been playing the game for about a week and have experienced a few major bugs: I have lost all of my experience on a hero which amounted to about half of all of my exp being lost forever. Even worse, the arena function no longer works for me which is the ONLY thing I can do. This issues been going on for days now with no fix in sight. Customer support is very slow and probably busy with other bug reports. I have not spent any money on this game, nor would I suggest anyone else do the same until these major bugs get fixed.

Very slow
I’ve only been playing for 1 day and I’ve already hit their growth wall. Level up material are very far and few between once campaign mode gets to hard to beat. That only takes to the second area. Now just waiting for enough hourly resources to build up so I can give one character one level which does basically nothing to help progress. It’s very, very slow paced when it comes to growth. Unless you pay them of course

Devs don’t listen, cheaters are free to cheat
I played this game since launch. Lots of potential but unfortunately the developers are very slow to push out any update and cheaters continue to cheat without repercussions. In their attempt to stop the cheaters they banned half their population then undid the ban the next day.
Lots of potential and it may get there someday but after months of nothing to do but fight the same 5 people in arenas, it got old.
The player base was very active and gave lots of advice…. All on def ears. No communication…. 1 star.

Fun but heads up
It’s fun but heads up the arena has stamina, and there are chests with timers. It is expensive to open chests early, so you have to wait. You can play campaign while you wait but you will hit a wall and need to wait for idle rewards or chests. So you can’t really play it in one sitting as long as you would like :(

Great game, a suggestion
Many base units are just different elements and skins of the same thing. Td be nice if each nation’s baseline warriors/archers had even a slight difference in abilities to mark them as unique. Just nitpicking that the block description always says Zeus’ shield even if the warrior isn’t a Roman warrior. But really awesome game, just picking little things
