Yes without a doubt my favorite thing about all Apple Arcade games is there is no ads games such as my Tom+ and Crossy road+ are definitely a great example my Tom+ gives you diamonds every 3 hours Crossy road+ allows you to get coins by doing objectives. Apple Arcade is great and let’s get back on topic now.
So is it better than asphalt 9 well yes but no if you like car games you most likely will like open road racing whenever I play car games I look for games with something new in them unlocking locked levels grabbing high scores and like I said before something new which brings me on the topic of top 3 games 1 the best 3 great

1: ROBLOX OFC( roblox is basically everything I said I wanted in a game without xp and it is online so beat that basically play all 3 of those games and play this game and stay in school and learn before you start rageing when you don’t have the right car for a race bye 👋🏽:)😅😃

This game is interesting. I’m always impressed with the way Apple Arcade games look, and this one is no exception. It is still a mobile game though, so don’t expect an abundance of shrubbery or clear cut shadow lines. (The shadows still look better than most mobile games and there’s a decent bit of shrubbery.) Compared to asphalt 9, the gameplay is very different. It’s a lot less explosive, and has a similar feel to Forza minus the open world and campaign. There’s not a ton of content, the maps feel similar, there’s no vehicle damage, and progression can feel slow at times. That being said, it’s still very fun. If I had to change a couple things, I’d like to have a different car purchasing setup. Only being able to choose between 2 cars and having to wait a hour before it refreshes gets annoying. I also think the the mechanic XP shouldn’t include the cosmetics. Having to stop progress on engine upgrades so I can upgrade paint isn’t very intuitive. I’d also like vehicle damage, there’s just something fun about pulling a first place win in a car that looks like it just got out of a crusher. Overall good fun, good graphics, decent soundtrack, very well optimized with minimal load times for iPhone 13 pro, and the lack of ads and micro transactions is really the cherry on top. Solid 8/10, would recommend if you like realistic multiplayer driving sims.

Tilt to Steer is here in full swaying motion with manual acceleration and braking. Options for drive lines and driving assist. It’s all here. From gorgeous scenery of long narrow straights to greatly detailed car models of McLaren 720s, what more could you ask for? There’s tuning and customization, what everyone racing gamer dreams of. My only frustration is the fact how hard the Ai is! This game is challenging, hence its name! But seriously though, it’s like they’re always going to be faster than me no matter how I take a turn. I’ve played with different assist and drive types but all end the same. The Ai opponents are WAY TOO AGGRESSIVE! They drive like Asphalt 9 police and are always aiming to take you out. Take a turn too wide, you’ll get pushed outta bounds. They blaze by you while the driving line on a turn is red. Something’s off in the sense of difficulty here, as you really have to focus to play (race). Maybe add difficulty settings or something and I’ll give 5 stars… great game just very challenging to beat ghost.

So I’ll make this quick. I’ve spent quite a little while playing this and I’ve come away with the opinion that it’s extremely unfinished. Do not be fooled by the graphics, beyond that this is one of the shallowest racers I have ever played. There are two modes, one for a weekly event and one with random “missions”. Both of these events use the same very small handful of tracks and play the same royalty free music tracks over them. You will quickly realize just how few tracks there are to race on, you will repeat the same tracks again and again just to unlock cash for new cars and upgrades to your existing vehicle.

This game doesn’t allow you to play with a manual transmission, this game doesn’t have night time races or weather or even a competent driving line. What it does have is pretty graphics. This is a sham of an Apple Arcade game and I hope they didn’t pay the developer too much to make it for the platform. If you want an amazing racing game on IOS you have some fantastic options, look to asphalt (also on Apple Arcade) if you want a more arcade focused racing title. Look to the amazing port of grid Autosport if you want something more robust, when it comes to stradale however I say save yourself the bandwidth and skip this title.. it’s truly a let down. Any review giving this more than 3 stars is doing so based off of a cursory glance at the graphics and presentation, this game simply does not warrant anything more.

A big plus and brag for Gear Club, especially for me was the realistic vibe. BALLOONS!!?? Why would you do this??? Awful. Super archaic and just a unfortunate addition. A waste of development and resources! Time and energy that could have been spent on more track, parts, weather features, the MULTIPLAYER. Literally anything but the garbage you gave us! Very disappointed. Please do better!!! It’s if you don’t even look at your reviews!

I’ll start by I love the game and the more realistic feel Gear Club brings. A couple suggestions/ideas/notes: 1: The progression for the garage stalls….seems to really take some serious playing time to progress and each on has to be done individually. could it be adjusted just a little?! 2: I enjoy the races where your car is up against an assortment of cars vs. the car specific races where it’s a flood of the same car. Could we see more assortment?! 3: The multiplayer crew aspect is awesome, BUT can you do something with trying to race with active members?!! Maybe a crew lobby? Or chat? Chat could be simple presets even…. 4: This may be me just being impatient but the time frame in between new cars and customization to buy is brutal! When having multiple cars to customize it can seem a bit slow. Even just pumping in more paints to feel the gaps. Definitely recommend the game and worth the Apple Arcade subscription. Cannot wait for the next special event!

I got this game not too long ago and a loved it at first. Although once you get to playing for a bit you start to notice some things that can be working on. FIRST, the lack of cars in this game is pretty disappointing (Asphalt 8+ literally has, it feels like, 100+ cars and always add new ones with most updates). SECOND, the club idea is cool but it is tough to level up when a lot of the progress is dependent on your club members, some don’t get on a lot or don’t even play the game anymore so if there could be a way to level up faster or not forcing us to be in a club would be cool. THIRD, when I saw that there was multiplayer after you get to level 10 I got excited and couldn’t wait to unlock it and go head to head with other players, however, it turns out it’s not actually live multiplayer, instead your just trying to get the fastest lap and comparing times with other players. This a great game and I believe with updates that gives usb more cars, and an ACTUAL multiplayer option, this game could become one of my favorites. This is still a pretty good game nonetheless with good graphics and well, I’m not sure what else, I can’t imagine playing this for more than a month without getting bored, it needs some work.

I’ve spent some time playing and so far I honestly do enjoy the game. I love the graphics and the visuals on the game, great work. But what it lacks I almost can’t continue playing, the game has no recent vehicles at all. I think last month they put out the Corvette C7, I’m like what?!? The C8 has been out for over a year now. I would love to see the library of vehicles climb way higher than what is on the game now. Like the new Civic Type R, new C8, old school cars, and maybe even trucks like the new Ram and Ford raptor R.
Lastly the other gripe I have is that to unlock new items you have to grind on the game pretty hard. I’m ok with grinding but this is almost too much. I like playing the game but I don’t have countless of hours to spend just to unlock two upgrades.
I enjoy this game, I love that I can play with remote but please update better vehicles and much more of them. I actually have this game on switch for some time and I was very happy when this came to Arcade but I’m slightly disappointed, so far. Hopefully this great team can continue to pump out updates and better this game because it’s one of my favorites from Arcade.

Such a great game. One bug that’s very frustrating. It makes me want to give up on this game. Sometimes in the big daily tournament the game goes into a loop where you can’t get out out of one track and move into the next. We have 4 races to compete in every day. Finish the first race, get your results and the u return to the menu to select the next race. After the second race, you get an “progress update screen” after you click thru it the game goes to the start of the race you just run. No ability to select from the menu of 4 races in the tournament. Okay, finish that race and it’s the same thing. Force out of the app. Came back and the perigees screen is still there. Eventually you go to a different side of the game run a random race, return to the championship and the bug is gone. I’ve put a lot of hours playing this game. I love it. It’s like like having a dog you love but sometimes it bites you. Nuff said. Thank you to the team who created and works hard on this game. Nothing is perfect. Maybe it’s a feature, not a bug. Lol.

this game has enormous potential, but unfortunately was executed very poorly. this game feels slapped together compared to their other gear club title. there’s no real campaign or story, so playing seems extremely repetitive and pointless. you basically just race for money, and level up extremely slowly so you can buy new cars and upgrades. doesn’t matter tho, cause the game gives you 2 choices of vehicles to choose from at a time(3 if your garage is level 11 which takes forever btw lol), and you can ONLY buy those cars, and if you don’t like any of the options? hope you like waiting 6hrs, cause that’s how long it takes to refresh the vehicle choices. idk why i can’t just choose which car i wanna buy whenever i want as long as i’m the correct level. just another way to add to the slow gameplay. you also have to level up your workshops separate from you gamer level, so it just drags it out even more. idk what the deal is with limiting everything you do in this game. i’d have 100x more fun if i was able to customize and buy as i please. like foreal. i already pay monthly lol

Having to choose which area to divert experience into is a bit pointless. Cosmetics should never take away from actual vehicle upgrades. Progress, in general, is very slow due to the amount of grinding and experience diversion required to improve any aspect of a garage or vehicle.

Steering mostly works, but there’s a slight lag when turning and braking, which detracts from the game. Braking, specifically, feels a bit broken. I often find myself suddenly steering in the wrong direction when I try to hit the brakes, which makes hard turns hella hard. Such basic controls have been done countless times before on mobile, so it should’ve just been a matter of fine-tuning it for this game prior to release.

The forced “club” aspect sounds like a good idea, but it’s actually not. If you happen to be in a club consisting of people who either don’t play regularly, or quit the game altogether, you’re pretty much on your own to earn everything yourself at an incredibly slow pace. There really needs to be a dedicated solo mode, as well as an easy way to exit clubs.
