The most fun music app on iOS
I have lots of fantastic music apps on my iPad but this is the one I pick up most often when I just want to relax and play some music. The interface feels fantastic. It replicates a lot of the expressiveness of a stringed instrument both directly on the strings and through extra controls at the top. It also gives you the option to only show notes in a scale so you don’t even have to know anything to play it.
It sounds really good too. It has a ton of presets, although I almost always play the first one called “Shred Lead”. If you upgrade, you have a bunch of options to customize the sounds but it’s definitely not necessary.
GeoShred is basically a souped up Bebot. If that sounds interesting to you, you should definitely get it. If you want a virtual guitar on your iPad, you should definitely get it. If you’ve been considering an MPE controller and want something inexpensive to see if you like it, GeoShred is a great option.

The ultimate iOS instrument
It’s an instrument in your pocket - if even better on an iPad than an iPhone. It’s an extremely versatile lead guitar made accessible to a keyboardist. It’s a new challenge for mastery, too - capable of delivering on whatever effort you’re willing to invest. Start with GeoShred Play, then go Pro. ROI is there even before mastery.
As a heads up and wish list, most patches are only good entertainment, not playable without adjustment, though plenty to choose from. It’d be nice to have them prearranged better to sort the playable guitar-like sounds from the preset arpeggiated sounds, but you can arrange them yourself. I’d like to see the pure acoustic sounds library expanded a bit further - e.g. more focus on some nylon string guitar derived sounds.
Deficiencies aside, GeoShred delivers an instrument to a screen, and in a way one could hardly conceive of. There’s no going back to being without it.
As a heads up and wish list, most patches are only good entertainment, not playable without adjustment, though plenty to choose from. It’d be nice to have them prearranged better to sort the playable guitar-like sounds from the preset arpeggiated sounds, but you can arrange them yourself. I’d like to see the pure acoustic sounds library expanded a bit further - e.g. more focus on some nylon string guitar derived sounds.
Deficiencies aside, GeoShred delivers an instrument to a screen, and in a way one could hardly conceive of. There’s no going back to being without it.

Must-have app for any music enthusiast!
I am a keyboardist in a band. I was skeptical of purchasing Geoshred unaware of its capabilities and whether or not I can use it in my live performances. After purchasing the basic Geoshred Play app, I was extremely impressed by how accurate it was. I made several in-app-purchases (GeoSWAM and Naada collections) and I could not be happier. These instruments sound so real and authentic. I use Geoshred for playing lead solos in my performances with my band. There is no delay when performing live with this app. It allows me to be extremely expressive since it allows me to "flow" from one note to the other and has a host of effects that I could use. To top it all, the support staff have been amazing. They readily respond to email queries. I strongly recommend this app for all music enthusiasts.

It's more than a real instrument. Buy with your eyes closed
The things you can do with this app are endless and hi quality. There is absolutely no excuse not to have good sounds at your fingertips now that it's low cost and available to all.
I was going to buy an actual saxophone and spend years learning it. This app coupled with swam geotenor sax sounds realistic enough to replace the whole instrument. I would say it's 90% there.
I'm playing on an iPhone but I'm going to buy an iPad just to play this app on a bigger surface area. The app is worth twice or more what it goes for. Get the play version and upgrade to pro if you like it. I have no doubt you will be impressed. Puts all other ios music apps to shame.

I have a small issue with font size in your app
I love this app a lot you guys are so great. Even on an iPhone it works very good
BUT I HAVE A SMALL GRIPE
My gripe has to do with a font size issue. The print is very small
The reason why I use apple products is due to there accessibility options.
I have low vision and the text in the app is very small and does not respond to larger fonts for big print users through accessibility options
In IOS And does not have an option to increase the font size in the app itself

I love the app and have been using it for at least 2years but I recently switched to iPad Pro 2020 and the app drains so much of the battery even in background. I have a feeling that it runs on full power even in background that’s why it’s doing this. If devs could look into it that would be really great.

Great app
I am new to this app, have installed since last 10 months ago, but no idea how to play. I am not a musician and not much basic knowledge for any musical instruments or musical app. But recently one day, I tried to play something with GeoShredPlay for 2-3 days, amazingly, I made some notes like “SA RE GA MA”, and form that day, about 15 to 18 days till today, I am trying to learn music through this app. Don’t know what can I will do. Its like a magic even a small child can play it its a supper pro app and jordan puts all his experiences from working by 100 of different keyboards and instruments in this app and if you making music or want to start with ios music production or even as a hoppy i hardly recommended this wonderful app and it worth every penny that you have spent for it hope you enjoy it like i do

Got me hooked
The SWAM instruments are truly amazing. Especially the GeoViolin gives the real feel of playing a violin. Totally worth the IAP
This is by far the best audio modeling app that I have used. The amount of customization that it allows is beyond words. Note name font, world notes (Indian ragas), midi compatibility, performance settings etc can get you almost infinite levels on control. Really appreciate the great work and effort put into this app.

I can’t do without this instrument!
This is the most perfect portable instrument to take to any session! The sounds are incredible, the textures are enormously grand…almost vocal in how they use the formant feature…. It is truly an investment in your musical future… And it’s an investment that is definitely affordable by most people! I hope it never goes away!
