Gluroo uses a new method of coordinated smart notifications which makes sure the right set of people get alerted at the right times. Every alert is actionable. For example, if the person with diabetes (PWD) has low blood sugar, Gluroo will alert them first and give them a chance to address the low.
If they don’t address it within a few minutes, the alert will roll over to the rest of the GluCrew. This lets the PWD develop responsibility and confidence while always having someone else ready to back them up - and reducing alarm fatigue in the process!
SEARCH:
As you log meals, doses, exercise and more, you build up a valuable data source. Look back at how you handled a tricky sushi lunch or your favorite pizza joint in the past, expand an inline chart of your blood glucose readings during that period, and use that information to help you handle it better in the future.

Awesome for diabetes management!
I use Gluroo to monitor my boyfriends blood glucose levels in the background. He’s pretty independent and doesn’t need my help, but it’s amazing to be able to open the app and see his current BGL, insulin on board, and carbs on board. If he doesn’t reply to a text or call, I like to check his BGL and know that he’s OK and just busy (or ignoring me!! :P) and not having a hypoglycemic emergency.

Comprehensive app that’s easy to use!
Love this app because it has everything. A place to enter the standards: bg, basal, bolus. But it also has a place to document meals, carbs, as well as a place to document your pump and cgm sites so you are rotating them. Even has a place for lot #/sensor # so that data is tracked.
Amazing app, I can’t thank the developers enough for the ability to track all data in one place.
One thing I wish that was an option is the ability to add in a second profile. See, I have four type 1 diabetics in one home (including me) and I wish I could keep track of all of them here. Especially for my son who struggles right now to log data. He is deep in diabetic burnout and if I could log his meals (at least when I’m with him), any manual bg’s, or symptoms, it would help his team.
I will say it is a LOT of data to look at and that can be overwhelming for some. Fear not, it gets easier and the ability to have all of this info in one place is awesome. I am definitively a person who appreciates data. Makes all the difference. Until now I have struggled to manage documenting my info in multiple places. It’s now so easy to just type out what data I am adding in text format. No more swiping to find this screen and that. Diabetics have enough to deal with and Gluroo has already been such a benefit for me.
I really hope if a subscription is developed in the future that it is affordable. Being disabled has made money so tight and one of my worries is this app becoming too expensive for me to use. I’m thankful it’s open to testing right now and that I’m able to use it. Even my endocrinologist was amazed at this app!

A parent's useful tool
I use Gluroo to watch my daughter's blood sugars with her insulin data. We use OP5 and pull in data from Glooko. If she had an android we'd be able to see the insulin data in real time! The alarms never fail. Highly recommend this app!
