The Tuner app lets you control your hearing aids directly from your mobile device. You can change programs, and make simple or more advanced sound adjustments and save them as favorites. The app helps you learn what you can do and how to do it. It can even help you find your hearing aids if you lose them.

Update iOS
I was experiencing some of the issues in other reviews (and was very frustrated as a result) . After working through contacts with the app developer, my hearing aid provider and finally the manufacturer of my hearing aids. I was told to update my iOS, unpair and re-pair my hearing aids (a multi step process). After restarting my phone I had to close Tuner and reopen. I tentatively think things seem to be working now.

App Will Not Work With Latest iPhone Update
This app worked fine until the latest iOS update to 15.4.1. Now it doesn’t work at all, even though my hearing aids (ReSound FP962-DRW) are connected to my iPhone. The re-pairing procedure does not solve the problem.

GN Hearing Tuner
The hearing came with a app. called True Hearing it worked great. We were moved to a new app. GN Hearing Tuner and it is really bad. My hearing aid get a pop up icon called IPhone. This icon will not allow me to move to any other icons. I don’t understand why it was move to a app. that will not work with these hearing aids. It started iso 12 update now he have iso 13.1.3 I can not use the Bluetooth app. With out closing the Bluetooth remove the GN app. and reboot my phone. Slow getting back on line sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Please fix this app or maybe go back to a app. that will work with my True hearing aids.

Not good
It is not a good app. When I take hearing aids out at night and open battery cases to turn them off and wake the next morning, they cannot connect, have to shut phone down and restart. If I am lucky, the app will connect. Not nearly as good as what I originally had before this. I just changed to this app 4 days ago. Also the screen is so dark I can hardly see it. I have not found a way to brighten it up. It is not my internet as we have fiber optic.

If I had another option I’d delete the app
The original version I started with 3 years ago wasn’t great but at least it was stable. This version is annoying. I get random uninitiated volume level changes and noise reduction setting changes. This is the only app that works with my TruHearing/Resound Flyte hearing aids. If you have options try them first.

No warning that you changed my app!!!!!!
No warning that you turned my app off. Couldn’t hear conversations on my phone.
Finally tried to connect hearing aids and it took over an hour to get connected with my Bluetooth for only one ear. Instructions are poor. Confusion for several days. Very frustrating!!!! Now I’ll try to get the other ear on.
I had the same bad experience. When I figured it out I could hear. BUT the tuning is terrible!!! It sounds very clinky.
I have had to wait a month to get to my audiologist who can tune it correctly.
This was the worst customer service of any business I’ve engaged recently.

Problems running under OS13
After the last update the app is not working properly. It is loosing connection several times during the day, and does not send the phone call sound to the hearing aids. It sometimes works after shutting the phone down and restarting, but not always.

I am sick and tired of having to delete and reload the app , so that it will work with my phone/hearing aids/Bluetooth! I never know when I answer a phone call if my Bluetooth connection is really going to work or not, so every morning I have to check. And many times it requires deleting and reloading.

I hate this new app - very difficult to use. Have to keep teconnecting my hearing aids. Settings confusing. The old app was much more user friendly.
Continue to have problems with this app. Disconnects and you have to restart aids every time. Why did they change from the TruHearing app, which worked 100% of the time?

New 4.0 upgrade
Have been using tuner app with my GN Rsounds for quite awhile. Suddenly, new update comes and I no longer have any control except by going to phone settings. The app shows not connected, but the phone shows clearly connected. Can operate functions from “General” settings, but app does nothing.
