The Sweet Spot of Podcast Players
Too often do podcast players lean too far to an extreme. Either they have an outdated and buggy user interface and have the fantastic customer service of a small team, or the user interface is sleek and modern but the customer service is an unreachable corporate wall.
I’m happy to report that Goodpods is the sweet spot and offers the best of both worlds. The interface is great, though of course there’s always room for improvement. And that’s where their customer service comes in. Goodpods doesn’t wait for problems or shortcomings to catch up to them; rather, they are very open and transparent about their desire to improve. On social media, almost daily, Goodpods will ask what it is that users or potential users would want from their podcast service to make their experience better. And I’ve noticed that the things people say are implemented in the app and on the website almost immediately!
This is the podcast player for you. And if it’s not, be sure to let Goodpods know, because they’ll do their absolute best to accommodate your needs. Well done, Goodpods.

Love this app!!!
I listen to so many podcasts and love to share episodes/shows, but sometimes my friends on social media just aren't interested in that. I love the Goodreads app for sharing, rating, reviewing, and discussing books and I wondered if there was such a thing for podcasts. A quick google search lead me to Goodpods. I've been listening to all my podcasts here for 2 months now and I love it! I get suggestions in my feed and interactions with people who are interested in different shows. I love the "List" feature so I can save and organize my favorite episodes by topic. More people need to get on this app!

Podcaster and podcast listener
Goodpods is amazing. They do an amazing job at shouting out indie podcasters like myself all while staying connected and true to not only podcasters, but to people that are looking for podcasts to listen to. They don't just shove the most “famous” or “listened” to podcasts down your throat which, I love! They actually root for the real ones! Lol I absolutely love that Goodpods allows you to follow your fellow podcaster, create and join groups, all while keeping a nice knit positive podcasting and podcast listening environment

Fantastic App
I was never a podcast listener. After I began traveling heavily for work I quickly tired of both the radio and my music playlists. So, I decided to look at podcasts. Frankly, I really didn’t know what they were. My impression was they were essentially books on tape, which is great but I didn’t need more of those. Also, I didn’t know where to find a podcast, never mind a podcast that might be of interest, or how to play it. Enter Goodpods! This app is awesome. It’s my Instagram or Twitter feed for podcasts. It curates by series and episodes (which is really helpful), and allows me to cut through having too many choices and find what I want quickly.

Great app that’s growing!
I have been exploring different podcatchers and Goodpods is the winner. I love the social aspect of being able to see what friends are listening to and comment on them. As a podcaster I also enjoy being able to interact with listeners through comments and that people can rate and comment on every episode if they want to!
It’s not perfect. If you listen at an increased speed, voices get a little digitized. Not too bad though. They’ve even improved that since I started using the app. They’re good with feedback and ideas, so I’m excited to see how it continues to grow and improve!

Goodpods is where it’s at!
Goodpods is such an excellent app! It’s a more intimate, creative and fun way to connect with other podcasters and to enjoy all the podcasts you love! I have a podcast of my own and was so fortunate enough to be featured on the top picks page! I just started podcasting and don’t have much of a following so that was such a treat! That’s what I love about Goodpods they truly do shine a light on up and coming podcasters also! If you are a frequent podcast listener like myself you will fall in love with this app! Download it immediately! You won’t regret it!

The concept is incredible but fails to fully deliver
There are many things I really enjoy about Goodpods! That said there are two ways to listen to my podcast. Don’t know why, but the issue is still not fixed after a year! I would rate this app a one for the incredible lack of attention to detail needed! Other little glitches that need fixing!
They get a four though because it seems they are trying, I understand what it’s like to forge ahead without a map. Their customer service is attentive! I want the app to work well, but the issues must be fixed for me to use this app!

KEEP IT UP!!!
I travel a lot for work so podcasts keep me going. Finally, I have an app that helps keep all of my thoughts in line and keeps me organized so that I can share the different podcasts and episodes with my friends. being able to rate and comment on individual episodes is a highly unique feature that I really try to take a vantage of. I’m so thankful for this app as a podcaster myself because it allows people to discover my podcast who would not have found it otherwise. Keep up the great work JJ!!!!

I used to have such a hard time discovering new podcasts and I’d find myself spending half of the time I had to go for a run searching for a podcast to listen to on my run. Goodpods solved that problem for me! I follow all my friends (and other people I think are interesting) as well as some groups to see what they’re listening to. It’s really fun AND I’ve been introduced to so many great podcasts!
