Description
"Gorizia contatto" project aims to facilitate the accessibility to the cultural and artistic heritage of Gorizia to the blind and visually impaired people. The mobile app is part of the second phase of the project and it is developed to provide information regarding five sites included in an itinery proposed to the visitors.
For each site the app offers a written and audible description, other than practical information about the site. The descriptions are associated to accessibility devices installed in the different sites.
The five sites are::
- Gorizia Castle, with two touch map;
- St. Ignatius' Church, with one touch map;
- Attems Petzenstein Palace, with a 3D reproduction of the facade;
- Gorizia Synagogue, with a 3D model;
- Coronini Croneberg Palace, with a 3Dreproduction of two sculptures.
The initiative has been developed with the objective to insert the City in a substainable and social sensible touristic circuit. It is an integrated sysftem which includes the Castle, the Synagogue, Attems Petzenstein Palace, St. Ignatius' Church and Coronini Cronberg Palace.
For the fruition of the mentioned points of interest, there have been studied and developed some haptictools to ease the accessibility, paying specific attention to the visual disabilities.
