Five year old loves it
My five year old grand daughter loves the apps from this team. I would like to see the apps adapt to the child's interactions and get harder as they master an area. Really enjoy the videos that break up the play time with interesting content.

Grandma's Kitchen
Grandma\'s Kitchen is a great place to visit and practice counting, beginning blends in words, building compound words, patterning, identifying differences, alphabetizing and more. Children visiting Grandma will find her warm and inviting with her friendly voice and comforting appearance. She takes them through a fast paced series of varying activities, with breaks to watch live videos or time to help her prepare a recipe. Each task is accomplished quickly, errors gently corrected and success congratulated. This is a very nice app and will reinforce those early learning skills through the games. Children will want to return again and again to play in Grandma's Kitchen. Settings will show all the games which can be turned on or off. Locked access will allow adults to view additional apps for purchase. My hunch is users will want to download the additional apps featuring Grandma in her garden and Grandpa in his Workshop.

Love this app!
This app is great for my kids. My four year old is able to do a lot of it but it is still challenging for her. It is too easy for my six year old but he still likes to play it sometimes. They love it and it teaches so much! Lots of reading, spelling, alphabetizing, etc. They often choose to play this over the regular mindless games so it must be pretty fun for them. I love when I find a good educational app. This one is by far my favorite. And my kids' favorite too!

LOVE this App!
This is my 5yr old daughter's favorite app right now and mine too! As preschool teacher and a parent I am very impressed. The skills are age appropriate and they cover math a reading. They also balance the educational work with rewards such as baking a cake, decorating the cake and washing the dishes. The balance between the work and play keeps my daughter excited and motivated!

No volume available for IOS 5
I paid for this app and we have no volume or background music. I know I have an older operating system but under requirements it said it supported IOS 5 so if that is true it should work. Very frustrating! Only thing that helps is that my daughter has played the game on my IPhone so knows how to play and also when there are words to read on the screen helps too. Please look into fixing the app to truly support IOS 5.

Educational but fun too
My 4-yr-old daughter has been playing this game over the summer. She enjoys it because there are basic math concepts (she likes numbers & counting) and there are cooking concepts as well (organizing a spice rack & mixing ingredients). This is a wonderful app. I highly recommend!

Great for older and little ones
We have two iPads and both my two year old and six year old are loving this new grandma game. So nice to see something that teaches BOTH kids without frustrating either!

Great APP to save when you have a helper. He can help you and then be reinforced with the APP during the cooking periods when he can' t help.
